Weekly Gaystapo Activity Update, #3617

OK folks, another week, another batch of ugly anti-Christian bigotry and anti-freedom activism from the homosexual thought police. As I have documented many dozens of times now, the militant homosexual activists will not rest until every single thread of opposition to their agenda is crushed, and everyone who dares to resist is fully silenced.

We have seen all this jackboot activity before of course in places like Nazi Germany, but now it is happening in so-called free and democratic Western nations. All over the West our freedoms are being stripped away from us, and the Christian church in particular is being targeted by the radicals.

So for this week’s roundup, let me offer yet another three examples of the gaystapo in action. The first case comes from a hotbed of radicalism in the US: Boston. A university there is refusing to allow a Christian vendor on campus. Its crime? Simply believing that marriage is meant to be for one man and one woman.

One news item discusses the story this way: “Under mounting pressure from pro-‘gay’ activists, the student government at a university in Boston voted down a proposal to bring a Chick-fil-A franchise on campus. Under an onslaught of hostile criticism from Northeastern University students and faculty, the Student Government Association voted 31-5 not to allow Chick-fil-A to become a campus vendor in a food court that is being renovated. Among the critics claiming the company discriminates against homosexuals was the university’s LGBT advocacy group, NU Pride.

“Also denouncing the plan was Northeastern’s Graduate Student Government. ‘…In light of Chick-fil-A’s financial support for groups advocating against gay rights and gay marriage, [we felt] that it was not appropriate to invite Chick-fil-A onto campus … because it contradicts Northeastern’s values and standards with respect to diversity and the University’s commitment to its LGBT community,’ said a GSG statement. ‘…It is not in the interest of the University to allow onto campus a vendor associated with these beliefs.’

“Brian Camenker is founder of MassResistance!, a pro-family grassroots activist group based near Boston. Speaking about the vote to deny Chick-fil-A a presence on the campus, he says: ‘I guess it should show to people just how brainwashed and how unbelievably radicalized college kids have become.’ Camenker says it is outrageous that protestors are especially infuriated that the company has donated to Exodus International, an organization that offers help to people who wish to leave the homosexual lifestyle.”

The second episode comes from that hotbed of PC Stalinism, the People’s Republik of Canada. This nation may more quickly be sliding into the brink than any other Western nation. In the province of Alberta it looks like those who dare to resist the homosexual onslaught are considered to be criminally insane, and must be locked up in the local funny farm.

As one story explains, “Bill Whatcott’s controversial campaign to expose the harms of homosexuality has most recently resulted in him being detained by police and threatened with committal to a psychiatric hospital if he didn’t stop distributing flyers at the university of Calgary and adjoining neighborhoods.

“The activist had begun distributing 5000 pamphlets that criticize Alberta’s new Education Act, and also contained photos of sexually transmitted disease infections common to those who engage in homosexual sex, when he was apprehended by Calgary police and put in jail.

“‘The police officer initially told me he was arresting me and detaining me under a Form 10 (Alberta Mental Health Act),’ Whatcott wrote on his blog, ‘and he told me he was going to have me committed to a psychiatric hospital.’ Whatcott said that this was ‘reminiscent of how Christian dissidents were treated in the old USSR.’ The activist claimed that while being arrested he stated his reasons for handing out the flyers, at which point one of the arresting officers became aggressive. ‘He started grabbing me by my arm roughly, and started shaking me and pushing me as he would order me to stand here and there behind the van,’ says Whatcott.

“Whatcott’s criticisms of the Education Act were based on a statement by a spokeswoman for Education Minister Thomas Lukaszuk, who repeatedly told LifeSiteNews.com that homeschoolers and faith-based schools would not be permitted to teach that homosexual acts are sinful as part of their academic program.”

Our last example comes from Texas, where those who have the temerity to speak out against homosexual activism are being prosecuted by government officials. A news report says this: “A prosecutor has decided to pursue and possibly charge members of El Paso area churches who promoted petitions opposing the city administration’s decision to implement benefits for same-sex partners even after voters decided not to allow that.

“The result is an emergency appeal to the state Supreme Court by attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund, which has been working on the freedom of speech dispute. The organization today warned that hundreds of Christians and other El Paso citizens ‘are facing jail time for exercising their constitutionally protected right to speak out against Mayor John Cook’s policies.’

“The issue arose when voters in November 2010 placed on the ballot and passed an ordinance prohibiting unmarried domestic partner benefits in their city. Several members of the city council refused to follow the will of the vote, and voted to rescind the ordinance approved by voters. The mayor joined in the effort. That produced a grassroots recall campaign seeking to remove the mayor and council members who violated the will of the people.

“The mayor subsequently sued Tom Brown Ministries, Word of Life Church of El Paso, El Pasoans for Traditional Family Values and other local citizens who circulated recall petitions. He cited a Texas election law, arguing that it prohibits churches from circulating a petition.”

So there you have it folks: another week, another batch of militant activism aimed at silencing all Christians who think truth matters, and that it should be vocalised in public. We have seen all this before as I mentioned. We should have learned the lessons of history here.

But sadly it seems many have not. So many of us go on blissfully unaware of the very real war which has been declared against the church, freedom of speech, and freedom of conscience. Each week more and more of our freedoms are being snatched away by the homosexual militants and their PC stooges in the media, politics and society at large.

Unless we wake up real quick and start acting, we will soon enough find that it is too late. In the meantime I will keep posting these regular updates. Whether or not people will take notice of them and start resisting this new tyranny is a moot point.

  1. Wonder how the leftocommies are going to try and swing this so its all the fault of us evil hetro’s? Or will it be hate speach for the simple fact that you have brought this evil to light? But hey, us conservatives have known for ages that the left considers us evil for simply existing.

  2. The very definition of tolerance and love of free speech is actively fighting for the right for someone to express views you totally disagree with. The concept of ‘hate speech’ and attempts to invoke ‘diversity’ are just smokescreens to shut people up and create a police state. All hate speech laws are an attack on freedom.

These people wouldn’t know real diversity, tolerance and freedom if it bit them on the backside. When you work to deny others basic rights you show what you believe. What is especially dangerous about this is that people are convinced that in doing this, they are doing good.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular.

  3. Two weeks ago I was attacked and ejected from a lecture by a rabidly gay professor, who was delivering neat, vintage, unadulterated, Goebbelian, pink propaganda to about 70 sports students at a British University. Goebbels would have been green with envy. My crime? I had simply objected to the obscene language, slander and insults that had laced his diatribe against Christians, the older generation and anyone who dared to criticise homosexuality. More shocking was the fact that the other so-called academics joined in this humiliating scene of silencing anyone who opposed the gay agenda. I am sure the lesson was no lost on the students.

Since two universities are presently involved in investigating my formal complaint, I cannot be specific at to where all this occurred – yet. I am not confident that anything will come of this apart from a visit from the thought police, accusing me of creating public disorder through speaking the truth.

History certainly is repeating itself at a tremendous rate of knots and unless the mass of people wake up, switch off the TV,take this threat to their freedom seriously and mobilise themselves, we will, overnight, be plunged into a era of barbarism.

  4. What they think is individual liberty actually produces the tyranny of statism.

If will/desire rules in a culture rather than reason, then logically a large powerful state is required to police and mediate between us and other capricious individual sovereign wills. For this reason radical liberal autonomy is beloved by our counterfeit Cathedral (university-state atheocracy). The more chaos, the more of positions of power to issue orders from. An orderly self ruling society needs few.

Those university children have been trained well by the authorities.

Big money-Big state (the Leviathan market-state) funds and supports this movement because it presages the centring of all moral and political power in the state. The idea that nature is legislative rather than desire must be suppressed, because that would be an independent source of wisdom apart from Power. So sexual complementarity and the natural end of baby making is just dismissed an arbitrary feature of marriage. Therefore, eliminating the understanding that nature has an intelligible structure and is an independent source of intrinsic moral principles that those in power must recognise, is a state/court philosopher project. And the academy is totally on board like the intellectual prostitutes they are.

The flattening of the state’s competitor – the Christian church – which affirms this natural law as the basis of the civil law, is an imperative. So anti-Christian prejudice is applauded and given arts funding 🙂

Thus we see the perfect alignment between the ‘market-state’ with the same sex marriage movement. Homosexual ‘marriage’ kills two birds with one stone for secular liberals. Nature’s law, and the institution that preserves it along with God’s affirmation of it. The fact that only 10% of the 1% who are actually ‘homosexual would even legally submit to ‘marriage’ at all makes no difference – the foundations of society will be tilted toward the elite, they’re sure this means equality and love!

The snakes will even wear the livery of Christian inspired social movements like abolition of chattel slavery, and miscegenation laws – in order to eliminate the church from public life. The chutzpah!

Have the young ones been provided with an historical memory by the educrats? if so would they have become members of the NSDAP in 1930/40’s Germany? If not why not?

The scary thing is that this latest iteration of the totalitarian spirit could win this time. They can’t get away with brutal violence to hide their illegitimacy, they do it slowly incrementally, bureaucratically and largely imperceptibly.(collusion of liberal journos especially ABC is important here). The end is the same – this time the intention is a 1000 year Pax Saecularismo. The banal predictability of tyranny.

“The wisest thing in the world is to cry out before you are hurt. It is no good to cry out after you are hurt; especially after you are mortally hurt. People talk about the impatience of the populace; but sound historians know that most tyrannies have been possible because men moved too late. it is often essential to resist a tyranny before it exists.” -G.K. Chesterton

  5. Yep! Thanks for the alert Bill. Keep speaking the truth in love. And yea, we do need to continue to whistle that hymn occasionally, ‘one little word shall fell him’ (Luther)

  6. Just out of interest Bill, where are the churches in this business in Canada? One would have thought that if all the Christians got together and stood up, then the reptiles in office in Canada would be forced very quickly to review their insidious policies! Is there even a church in Canada? I mean one that will stand up.
    Steve Davis

  7. Very good questions indeed Steve.

Sadly, one suspects that most churches there don’t know about this or don’t care about this. And even worse, many churches there would likely side with the secular state against this Christian!

  9. The following isn’t directly related to your article above, but it does connect.

It is interesting the position Bob Katter has taken in the Queensland election. His comments below, quoted in news.com.au are encouraging. Here’s the quote:

‘Mr Katter said while his half brother might be hurt by his party’s stance, there would be “many other people” who would be hurt by gay marriage.’

    From: http://www.news.com.au/national/katter-party-attack-ad-slams-campbell-newman-over-gay-marriage/story-e6frfkvr-1226296732883#ixzz1osT6wWRb

Bill, you’ve been fighting same-sex marriage because of what it represents, as expressed above in your article. It would be great if Katter can help galvanise some resistance in Queensland.

    Chris McNicol

  10. Thanks Chris

Yes I saw that – and he is getting heaps of flak and hate mail for taking a stand. Well done Bob Katter. He deserves our support, and we need more brave and principled politicians like him.

  11. I spoke to my neighbour yesterday, whilst he played football with his son on our local football (soccer)field. He is a caring family man with a wife and two young children. And whilst he agreed and understood almost everything that I said to him, his chilling remark was that as long as his family was safe he would not get involved.
    I mentioned to him this:

“First they came for the communists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.

    Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.”

    Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

He nodded without making any comment.
We think that it is only us who understand what is going and that if we could somehow tell people what was going on and get them to understand it, then they would rise up against these fascist/marxist tyrants. But they do understand but they are frightened.

  12. Regarding the Bob Katter ad, I’ve read in the mainstream media that it is “anti-gay” and homophobic.
-Healthy Communities Queensland executive director Paul Martin statement‘ ‘It’s this kind of hate attack on the gay and lesbian community that contributes to rates of mental illness and suicide being four to five times that of heterosexual people,’’
-Anna Bligh said she had seen Mr Katter’s advertisement and felt it was “both offensive and bizarre”.
-Mr Newman himself said the ads were “homophobic”, “negative” and “nasty”.

I wish one of these people would explain exactly which part of the ad they find so homophobic – is it Newman’s statement that he supports gay marriage or is it the photo of the gay couple? The ad simply points out that Campbell Newman supports gay marriage. This is factual information being presented, highlighting something that Campbell Newman stated himself – no insults, no slurring no so called “hate speech”, just facts so voters can be informed.

The ad is supported by some images of two men hugging which should certainly delight supporters of gay marriage – it’s quite ironic that the main stream media are finally condemning an ad showing two men hugging and now it is all of a sudden “homophobic” “gay-hating” and “nasty”. I’m wondering if the Greens or the Gay lobby had made this ad instead of the Katter Party, would it still be “anti-gay” or “homophobic”? And good for Bob Katter for his position, no matter how unpopular it may be and how much he may be ridiculed. Hopefully more politicians of other parties will start taking a stand against this too.

  13. Thanks Bill, I cannot accept the fact that the churches do not know about this stuff, they must at least be aware of it, in much the same way the people who interact with you here know about it. I know that in my own case, I often email links to your articles to my minister and other people in our church so it is getting out there. As for your observation about the churches siding with the secular state, then this is horrible! I know I must sound like a bit of a hand wringer but it looks as if the church is becoming irrelevant very fast!
    Steve Davis

  14. See Romans chapter 11 v 4. Since when has the church become irrelevant to God?

Even a great prophet like Elijah could lose the plot and need rebuking. Clearly I agree, much of what is called the church is false. See Jude verse 4. King David sinned however, you will recall, when he did his census. But we are called to trust God not the numbers. Our task is primarily to be found faithful to the task we have been given. See also Romans 14 v 4 and James 4 v 12.

My point is this, if Elijah could be so wrong and miscalculate so badly, we need to watch our thinking when our attitudes become based on disappointment in others. When we do this we are on dangerous ground.

I’m not suggesting you’re doing this; simply that the scripture exhorts us to stir one another up to love and good works; re Hebrews 10 v 24 & 25 and other places.

    Sincerely
    Chris McNicol

  15. God has revealed an interesting double standard to me. Like you say Bill and many others, sound the warning bells – do something before it’s to late – slippery slop etc etc. Well I’m a mechanic and in that field there’s a thing called (preventative maintenance). It means to calculate the time a certain part or mechanism should last, in any given vehicle, and replace it before it breaks. We know how long it lasts because we’ve seen it work before and time an time again, it breaks at this point. This saves on down time and the inconvenience.
    Daniel Kempton

  16. In 1983 I attended the national gay and lesbian conference at Latrobe Uni, where they discussed their plans to get what they wanted. One of the major themes was that the church had to be nullified as it was the last bastion against what they wanted to achieve.

That was nearly 30 years ago and the place we find ourselves in I believe, illustrates the old saying “all that evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

I can’t agree with those who say all we need is to trust God and he will sort it out. That sentiment did not wash with William Wilberforce or William Booth or Martin Luther King Jnr.

Gideon trusted God and picked up his sword. Joshua trusted God and picked up his trumpet. Moses trusted God and picked up his rod.

Whilst the true church will grow stronger, hopefully, this onslaught will see the demise of the apostate church led by false prophets and false pastors.

Having got into bed with the enemy, may they be shown up for what they are.

  17. Bill a Yvonne Henderson is doing the rounds at our schools here in Bunbury WA at the moment. I see she was on Stateline 1/6/2006 talking then about Homosexual bullying.
Guess what she’s campaigning here now? You guessed it.
Also I was wondering if anyone could help me with the XX or XY factor and how they’re saying gay’s have simply too much of one and therefore that’s why there gay?
