This title should really be, ‘Sweden, Sex and Insanity’, but the alliteration breaks down a bit then. Insanity is however just what we are witnessing here. Sadly I have had to write about Sweden before. It has been on the cutting edge of social engineering and the radical sexual revolution.
It prides itself in its radical secular left agenda, especially in its attempt to break down biological realities and create the world’s first totally androgynous society. While such things may seem cool for a while in a David Bowie concert of a few decades ago, attempting to eliminate gender altogether is quite another matter.
Such acts of gender-bending radicalism can only spell the death of a society, with inestimable harm done to men, women, family, marriage and especially children. As I pointed out at the time, if a kid wants to be a porcupine or a tree fern, is that also fully acceptable? “Why limit their life choices? Why force them into stereotypical moulds of homo-sapiens? That is so narrow, so discriminatory, and so bourgeois. How dare we stifle our kids in this way. Indeed, why insist they must conform to some intolerant and restrictive life form?
“Why not let them decide if they want to be a rock, or a clump of dirt, or a basketball? How can we deny our kids this universal right to reject everything about themselves, and embrace any possible lifestyle or thingstyle? How dare we hold back their potential in this way?”
I also quoted from the newspaper account concerning how they have been forced to invent new words to deal with all this: “Egalia is unusual even for Sweden. Staff try to shed masculine and feminine references from their speech, including the pronouns him or her – ‘han’ or ‘hon’ in Swedish. Instead, they’ve have adopted the genderless ‘hen,’ a word that doesn’t exist in Swedish but is used in some feminist and gay circles.”
Just what sort of magical mushrooms are these elites munching on? Another story about this has recently appeared in the media, and is worth looking at. It begins as follows: “Sweden, which in 2010 was recognized by the World Economic Forum as the most gender-equal country in the world, has stepped up its gender neutrality initiative by introducing a new word that refers to both boys and girls with the pronoun ‘hen.’
“The idea, according to Slate com, is that Swedish society at large has decided it will not tolerate any distinction between sexes. ‘What many gender-neutral activists are after is a society that entirely erases traditional gender roles and stereotypes at even the most mundane levels,’ the report highlights.
“Earlier this month, the gender-neutral pronoun ‘hen’ was proposed by lobbyists to be used in public schools instead of ‘he’ (han in Swedish) and ‘she’ (hon). The decision came shortly after the publication of Sweden’s first ever gender-neutral children’s book, Kivi och Monsterhund (Kivi and Monsterdog). It tells the story of Kivi, a child who wants a dog for ‘hen’s’ birthday. Jesper Lundqvist, the author, also introduces several gender-neutral words in the book. Furthermore, the Swedish Bowling Association is planning on merging male and female bowling tournaments so that competitions are more gender-neutral.

“‘Gender roles are an outdated thing, said Kaj Wiberg, CEO of Leklust, the toy company behind the catalog, in an interview with Swedish newspaper Metro. ‘I’m 71 years old, and those of us who have worked in this industry for a while know that boys play with doll houses. We know that boys can play with Barbie dolls’.”
Wow, those mushrooms must be really powerful. Normal people just cannot make up this sort of insanity. Indeed, brain science is moving in just the opposite direction at the moment. Science is making it clear that gender differences are hardwired into us, even into our brains.
A number of titles have appeared lately demonstrating these new findings of the scientists, such as:
-Anne Moir and David Jessel, Brainsex (1992)
-Deborah Blum, Sex on the Brain: The Biological Differences Between Men and Women (1998)
-Louann Brizendine, The Female Brain (2007)
-Louann Brizendine, The Male Brain (2010).
Careful studies into human societies have found that gender distinctions are pretty much universal. And the universality of gender differences has been backed up by a wealth of information from various fields: neurology, evolutionary biology, and social anthropology for example. All document the socially determinative innate sex differences.
As one expert has put it, “Sex differences are large, deeply rooted and consequential. Men and women still have different natures, and, generally speaking, different preferences, talents and interests. … These differences can be explained in part by hormones and other physiological and chemical distinctions between men and women. Thus they won’t disappear unless we tinker with our fundamental biological natures.”
And yet these knuckle-brains in Sweden want to run roughshod over biology and reality, all in the name of their uber-radical social engineering agendas. They especially are targeting hapless little children, forcing them into their androgynous moulds, whether they like it or not.
But this has long been a part of the strategy of the radical feminist and homosexual lobbies. They want to create a genderless society, or a multi-gender society, where biology is thrown out the window, and radical social agendas are given free reign.
This has plenty of implications, including the current push for same-sex marriage. Consider for example what the Greens are proposing in their bill before Parliament. They actually say this: “Item 6 amends the Schedule that deals with ‘Persons whose consent is required to the marriage of a minor’. Item 1 of the schedules table, to change the discriminatory term ‘husband and wife’ to ‘two people’.”
So these radicals think that the very terms ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ are discriminatory! This is all part of their war against marriage, family, gender, and children. As Kalley Yanta explains, “Gay marriage won’t exist alongside traditional marriage. Our traditional understanding of marriage will be stripped from the law and will be replaced with this new genderless definition of marriage.”
Thus everything will change as we allow this radical gender-bending steamroller to proceed. And that is exactly what the activists want: the complete destruction of society as we know it, to be replaced by their revolutionary brave new world.
It is plenty scary already, but it will get a whole lot scarier if we do not resist this ugly onslaught with all our might.

As Christians, we can take Christs commandments extremely seriously and learn the scriptures, find those who are looking and teach them the truth. They are on a new campaign to court the Christian vote with the help of the ABC. Wednesday’s religion and ethics report showed the strong “religious connection” of Green’s MPs. They just couldn’t understand how people like George Pell called the Green’s policies “anti Christian” and get away with it. So now they try to tell all those gullible Christians out there that vote how nicely religious these nice Greens really are. Sweden’s laws on prostitution changed from tolerance to a crime for men who try to purchase sex from women. Once tolerant on drugs, that too has changed to Zero tolerance which includes cannabis.
So I wonder how long it will be before the Swedish government realises that once again it has taken the wrong path and will urgently change its policy. Let us hope it is sooner rather than later so that boys can be boys and girls can be girls once more.

Yes it is rather odd that Sweden can get so many things so very wrong, but they have managed to do some good when it comes to policies on drugs and prostitution.

What an amazing mixed up posting! A (supposedly) Christian woman goes on a rant and uses a disgusting word for part of the female genitalia with no blanking out. Perhaps she did not know what it meant. If (I have not read the research you suggest, Bill,) our gender types are hard-wired, we have no problem. The attempts in Sweden to remove them will FAIL. However, though I am glad to be female, married and the mother of two children; I have excellent spatial ability, read maps and know where I am better than my husband and can reverse park better than him. All these point to my having a rather ‘male’ brain.???

It´s good to know what´s happening, thanks Bill. Katherine I can totally get where you´re coming from but we´re not fighting flesh and blood here. I´m not saying you intended to put her down but please remember that. Yes if we´re hardwired like mentioned this would naturally die down but I think this goes beyond the natural realm, there´s a lot of chance that a lot of kids will get hurt before it simply dies down, we don´t want that. It´s awesome that you’ve got talent at those things, we´re not arguing against what a woman can or can´t do though, I believe women are very capable, nevertheless this is about erasing gender boundaries, as a young man I can tell you my generation is already fairly mixed up about so many things, I really don´t see how adding whether or not you´re a girl or guy helps, yes girls can do a lot of things, yes guys can also do a lot of things but telling either that they´re not what they are really doesn’t help. Still thank you so much for your point of view.
To Rebecca, what you described is a savage and very disturbing reality, but yes I can believe things like this happen. Thank you for being truthful about things that would otherwise be hidden in the dark. I can see you´re really passionate about this and as someone who actually lives in the country I really value the views you presented. At the same time though we need to remember our battle isn’t against flesh and blood.
The information you gave about the feminist response was equally disturbing, I find that just completely and utterly strange.
Again though we are fighting not flesh and blood though but principalities and powers, against really disturbing strongholds, but WE are called to be the Salt and Light not them. Our anger isn’t against the people who don´t stand up and fight (how would darkness fight darkness’ but our warfare aren’t carnal but MIGHTY for pulling down strongholds and anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
WE THROUGH CHRIST ARE THE SALT THAT STOPS THE DETERIORATION AND WE ARE THE LIGHT NOT HIDDEN BUT STANDING WITH FACES UNVEILED.
