Democrats, Death and Deicide

The contrast between the two main American political parties keeps getting more and more obvious. The Republicans, for all their faults, value God, faith, freedom, free markets, family, and support Israel, among other things. The Democrats on the other hand seem to value secularism, socialism, statism, and social suicide.

They can hardly claim to be friends of the family, of Christianity, of Israel, of free enterprise, and of limited government. Indeed, simply note what the main emphases have been at the Democratic National Convention. It has been all about abortion, contraception, homosexual marriage, and bashing the Republicans. Nothing of real substance in other words; nothing which most Americans would be concerned about.

They are clamouring on about all sorts of radical lefty social engineering agendas, but saying and doing nothing about the real issues which impact Americans: the economy, education, family life, and so on. Oh, and you won’t hear anything about that $16 trillion debt they helped to rack up. Nope, wouldn’t want to spoil the party with that one.

Indeed, they won’t want to look closely at what has actually happened under BHO during the past four years. But I am happy to share some of this: A triple A credit rating is now just double A. The 5% unemployment rate is now nearly 9%. Gas then cost $1.80 a gallon, now it is $3.80. And 52 months of continuous jobs growth is now replaced with 42 months of high unemployment.

But hey, what are a few inconvenient truths when you are trying to pat yourself on the back and con the American people that somehow another four years of this is going to be a great thing for the country. Oh, and BTW, simply to point out these facts of course automatically makes me a racist.

Never mind the fact that I would love to have an Allen West or Alan Keyes or Mia Love or even Condi Rice over a liberal whitey as POTUS. And don’t get me started on how so much of the MSM deliberately ignored covering any of the black speakers at the RNC. Nothing like a bit of censorship to help push agendas.

Simply taking Obama’s pro-abortion and pro-infanticide position should be enough to convince any rational and moral human being – let alone someone claiming to be a Christian – not to vote for this guy. A short video here on his love of the death mill Planned Parenthood should be all we need to steer clear of this modern day King Herod and his Slaughter of the Innocents: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65OLSWWs87s

And if that still does not convince you of the evil of abortion, and why no one claiming to be a true follower of Jesus Christ can vote for a party with abortion on demand as part of its official party platform, then you might try watching this one, if you dare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD9aF9OXN0U

On top of all this, these Democrats – who claim to be so in touch with the average American – at first refused to even allow God to be dragged into their convention, or the nation of Israel. But after a major backlash, they had to relent, and a motion had to be made to allow both back on to their platform.

But to allow such a change, there had to be a clear 2/3 majority in support. Well they never got that two-thirds. Indeed, the whole world knows they did not. They actually had to call for a vote on this three times. And in each case the ‘no’ vote got louder and clearer.

Thus we can affirm that at least half – if not more – of all the Democratic delegates there did not want God, or the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital – to go ahead. Yet the chairman just ignored the clear and consistent ‘no’ votes, and pretended the motion passed anyway. You can watch this entire appalling episode here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4z64YjfEaQ

This is simply incredible stuff. I love what Father Peter West had to say about all this: “If God gets booed at your Party’s Convention, you’re in the wrong Party.” Amen! What kind of party is it that actually boos when someone simply wants God to get a tiny look-in at a convention?

This is clearly – if we did not already know this – a party of radical secular lefties. They seem to hate God, hate Israel, hate America, hate freedom and hate democracy. They just want to see King Obama back in for a second term so they can really let him loose to do even more damage.

And Obama has promised to do just that – if he gets in again he will let his entire radical crusade loose on the American people. If you thought things were bad now, just wait till what comes during the next four years – if America lasts that long under his reign of terror.

There is little doubt that this man has been among the worst US presidents ever, and he will simply prove this beyond any shadow of a doubt if he gets back in. His pro-death stance alone should convince us all of this. Indeed, any guy who can actually say, “I would never punish my daughters with a baby” has got rings around King Herod big time. God help us all.

  1. With 100 Muslim delegates attending the DNC the Democrats would happily approve a Muslim prayer meeting while many pro-life Democrats did not even get an invitation to attend the convention.

God help America and the world if BHO gets re-elected for another 4 years.

  2. Hmmm, makes you wonder about Christians who push a non-partisan politics sort of line. The right side of politics leaves a lot to be desired from a Christian perspective, but it is a lot lot better than almost everything we see coming from the left!

If only we saw some more genuine God-fearing statesmen though, that would be the best of all. That’s one of the big issues with right-leaning politics in Western Society. There seems to be a lot of the right sort of lines (if you’ll pardon my pun), but God has been removed from the thinking – thus many of the lines are left sounding somewhat weak and warbling on certain issues.

  3. Seriously Bill, have you ever considered checking in to a hospital for the criminally insane? You’d get a warm welcome as most inmates are just like you.

  4. Thanks Ted

We’ll take that as your way of saying you’re a Democrat, shall we?

I must say we always enjoy how your side “argues”: fact-filled, evidence-based, well-reasoned and done ever so graciously. We always appreciate all the tolerance and acceptance, and we also note the great emphasis on diversity, love and inclusion. Thanks again for your sterling contribution here.

  5. Typical of the left there Ted. Someone doesn’t agree with you, better lock them up. Worked in the USSR, why not the west?

You need to start repenting and give your life to Christ.

  6. See “Democrats pass the most pro-abortion platform in history”

The Democratic Party platform, which delegates formally accepted on Tuesday, recognizes a woman’s right to obtain “a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay” – an endorsement of taxpayer-funded abortions.

“What we’re seeing is the abortion lobby taking over an entire political party,” said Elizabeth Graham, director of Texas Right to Life. “The Democratic National Committee’s revised platform calls for unrestricted abortion on demand, at any time during pregnancy, and on the taxpayer’s dime. That’s been the abortion lobby’s goal all along.”

  7. And people are pushing for Australia to become a republic, what so we can vote for the richest nominee with the most spin doctors. What happens to people when they get elected? If the above is 100% legit, why is Michelle still with him and saying she agrees with all he stands for? Why aren’t our churches shining the light on the darkness being legislated? Why isn`t there any truly remarkable christian scripture believing men being nominated? How can people be so public in their agreement for these types of abortions, or any abortion really? Why would a good man ask Bill Clinton to ramble on for 48 minutes endorsing you? Why do so many leaders seem to give extra special attention and privilege to Muslim requests and appear to give little to Christians? Why is it OK to keep borrowing trillions from o.s sources after so much is shown to be wasted? I think we pander, are short sighted, are soft, lazy, and selfish to realise what is standing in front of all of us, please God, raise up men who will shed light over nations, not just in churches.

  8. Thanks guys

And see Matt Barber on this:

Democrats signed-off on every demand of radical “LGBT” pressure groups. They even put their official stamp of approval on “same-sex marriage,” a postmodern novelty rejected in 32 of 32 states wherein “we the people” have spoken.
No, this ain’t your father’s Democratic Party. In fact, as the DNC goes godless, I suspect quite a few God-fearing Democrats are contemplating a break with tradition.
    “Hope?”
    Not so much.
    “Change?”
Well, now maybe we’re on to something

  9. Good for you to spell out the differences of American politics. You realize of course that most Australians don’t even know the difference. Glad you spell it out on on your blog.
Nice to know that guys like Ted Bailey read you stuff. I am amazed that you actually leave such a low form of life on your site. But then again it is good for us all to realise what where up against. I say again, Heaven forbid that the Democrats get another term at further ruining one the best country in the world. Thank God, that at least half the nation still has some sanity.

  10. Well said Bill.

On Fox News ‘Special Report’, Bret Baier interviewed Senator Dick Durbin, senior Democrat from Illinois and  senate majority whip. This interview took place the day before the Democrats made their massive turnaround on omitting God and Jerusalem from their party platform.

Here is some preamble from Bret Baier and John Roberts, who was reporting from the Democratic Convention.

Bret Baier – There are approximately 40,000 words in the Democratic Party platform but two in particular are missing this year and that is causing some problems.

John Roberts – ……….Four years ago the platform clearly recognized Jerusalem as the perpetual capital of Israel but nowhere in this year’s platform does that statement exist, only a pledge that the President will “maintain an unshakable commitment to Israel’s security”.
He went on to compare this with what Mitt Romney said recently while in Jerusalem: “It’s a deeply moving experience to be in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel”.

    The interview –

BB – God out of the platform. Why do that?

DD – Well,  I can just basically tell you if the narrative that’s being presented on your station……..your network is that the Democrats are Godless people, they ought to know better. God is not a franchise of the Republican Party.

    BB – No, no…..(interrupted)

DD – Those of us who believe in God and those of us who’ve dedicated our lives to helping others in the name of God don’t want to take a second seat to anyone who is suggesting that one word out of the platform means that the Democrats across America are Godless. Come on Bret.

BB – No, no, no. I don’t think that’s what’s being said. We’re reporting what’s in the platform. In 2008, God was mentioned once; in 2004, He was mentioned seven times;  in 2000 God was mentioned four times.

DD – So what’s your point?

BB – The question is why take it out and this time……(interr)

DD – What I’m basically saying to you is if you’re trying to draw some conclusion that Democrats are Godless…….(interr)

BB – I’m not trying to draw some conclusion, just asking you the question…(interr)

    DD – Present your evidence.

BB – I’m just asking the question, why was the word taken out?

DD – I’m just telling you, you are carping on a trifle. We know that both parties are devoted to this country, both parties are God-fearing parties. Let’s get on with the agenda about creating jobs in America, about justice in this country.

BB – and we’re gonna talk about that in a second. We’re talking about the platform here and there are two changes that we just noted.
      1. That God was taken out from 2008 to 2012 and
      2.That Jerusalem is not mentioned.
So I’m not drawing conclusions, I’m just asking you why those changes were made.

DD- Bret, let me suggest something. I chaired the platform committee for two Democratic conventions. We produced the most unread document in the history of American politics. To suggest that this document, and the insertion of two words here and one word there, now defines politics in America, suggests to me that you’re not focusing on the real issues that Americans care about……(interr)

BB – but Senator, you know……(interr)

DD – We want this American people to get back to work.

    BB – I understand that…..(interr)

DD – We want to continue to create jobs.

BB – Let’s talk about that in one second but you know Democrats in Tampa talked about the Republican platform and what was and what is not in there. So what I’m asking you about these two changes, these two words, I’m just asking why, I’m not drawing conclusions.

DD- Let me tell you, your conclusions are wrong if you’re drawing any…..(interr)

    BB – I’m not.

DD – And secondly, let me tell you, the first President to recognize the state of Israel was Harry Truman, a Democrat, and every President since, Democrat and Republican, has stood closely with Israel. I know what’s going on here. It’s an effort to try to justify Sheldon Adelson and the money he’s spending in the name of really standing up for Israel.
The Democrats and Republicans are committed to Israel’s future and security and I’m one of them.

BB – Understand. No Republican took those words out of the Democratic platform so I’m just making the point…….(interr)

DD – And……… those two words coming out means our relationship with Israel has changed?

BB – No, I’m just asking the question, why was it changed……(interr)

DD – Is that fair? Is that balanced?

BB – Why was it changed?

DD – I wasn’t on the platform committee.

    BB – I’ll move on.

DD – I hope you will.

I’ll bet he wants to move on. The question asked, asked and asked again and ever rebutted – never answered. Fair? Balanced? A simple question is asked and that’s unfair and unbalanced? Durbin’s handling of the perfectly reasonable question reminds me of sportsmen, who the second they look like losing, feign injury.
Next day, the Democrats went into such a tailspin to get that word back into their platform that they steamrollered over their own members’ majority wish that the word, ‘God’, remain out of their platform.
So many attempts to ask a question and get a straight answer. Senator Durbin knows nothing about it, President Obama knew nothing about it. No one knows how this deep mystery came about.
Only when a spotlight is shone on their “oversight” do they act.
Christians, what more evidence do you need to suspect that for the most part, this party has no place for God in its policy making?
As if the policies don’t make that clear.
President Obama has made the task of discernment fairly easy because he’s an ideological zealot. I consider this a superior position to Bill Clinton’s because he stands by his principles. The fact that his principles are frighteningly evil and wrong and that he surrounds himself with people of dubious character (Eric Holder for one) are the main give-aways as to who this man really is. Spot the counter-Christian position on  every social issue, as well as his purposefully leftist approach to fiscal and national defense policies, but will Christians continue to support this President? If being cool and relevant (to the pagan world’s agenda, not to God’s) is your priority, go ahead. Vote for Barack Hussein Obama who, among other social policies, stands for killing masses of unborn, and implementing policies allowing the deaths of unwanted babies born alive.
If you want true compassion, especially for unborn and  newly born babies, vote for the choice of reason, civility and Christian values – Mitt Romney.
I just read a Psalm. I couldn’t help but connect Psalm 55:21 to President Obama –

His speech was smooth as butter,
yet war was in his heart.

President Barack Obama has declared war on Christian values.

    Angela Parham

  11. At least they are finally showing their true colours, so godfearing Democrats can now leave the boat.
What it takes is leaders prepared to truly repent on behalf of their nation, privately and publicly. I believe God will listen to that.
    Many blessings
    Ursula Bennett
