Hated For Speaking the Truth

One thing you can absolutely count on in today’s PC world: if you dare to stand up and proclaim truth in the public arena, you will get blasted from the secular left and their stooges in the mainstream media. It is becoming more and more difficult each passing day to speak truth without an avalanche of hate and fury coming down on top of you as a result.

I know all about this: wanna see all the hate mail I get? I am saving it all up, so the evidence is certainly out there. Just dare to challenge the reigning orthodoxy of the various militant activist groups, and all hell will break out. The last thing the other side wants is truth – so they resort to name-calling and mud-slinging instead of actually dealing with the evidence.

We had another classic case of this occurring just recently here in Australia. The story goes like this: The Australian Christian Lobby had invited the Prime Minister to be the keynote speaker at their next national conference. Julia Gillard accepted, but now she has pulled out in a big huff.

So what happened? Was the ACL head Jim Wallace found guilty of some horrific crime like murder or child abuse? Oh no, it was something far, far worse than that. He actually stated truth about the homosexual lifestyle, and for that every militant, every media outlet, and even the PM, has come down on him like a ton of bricks.

Here is how one news outlet reports this story: “Julia Gillard has cancelled a planned address to the Australian Christian Lobby after ‘heartless’ comments by ACL director Jim Wallace, suggesting smoking was healthier than homosexuality.

“The Prime Minister said in light of the comments, she had decided it would be inappropriate for her to speak to at the ACL’s national conference next month. ‘There are a range of deeply-held views in the community on the issue of same-sex marriage but it is the responsibility of all parties in this debate to be respectful and responsible in any public comments they make,’ she said in a statement.

“‘I believe yesterday’s comments by Jim Wallace were offensive. To compare the health effects of smoking cigarettes with the many struggles gay and lesbian Australians endure in contemporary society is heartless and wrong. Although everyone is entitled to their own view, these statements reiterated again today on behalf of ACL are totally unacceptable. In light of this, I believe my attendance at the conference would be inappropriate.’

“Mr Wallace made the startling claim in a debate on marriage equality with Greens leader Christine Milne at the University of Tasmania. In answer to a question from the floor, Mr Wallace said smokers were owed ‘a big apology’ as the lifespan of a gay male was reduced by up to 20 years, half that of a smoker. ‘The life of smokers is reduced by something like seven to 10 years and yet we tell all our kids at school they shouldn’t smoke,’ he said. ‘We need to be aware that the homosexual lifestyle carries these problems’.”

Needless to say, we have a few problems here. First of all, I always thought it was a real bad move to invite her as the keynote speaker in the first place. Why have an atheist, socialist, Emily’s Lister as the major speaker at a Christian conference?

She already has all the free airtime she needs to push her agenda, without allowing her a platform in which she will simply attempt to dupe more gullible Christians. But be that as it may, this decision to pull out in a stink tells us all we need to know about Julia.

She keeps saying she is opposed to homosexual marriage, but that is clearly so much baloney. The truth is, she has done nothing to stop it. For example, at the Federal Labor conference last December she sat by in silence, allowing her party to make homosexual marriage official Labor Party policy.

Just like Kevin Rudd pretended to be on side (and also got kid-glove treatment by the ACL), but then stabbed pro-family activist Warwick Marsh in the back for daring to say children deserve a mother and a father, so too Julia has simply shown her true colours here.

As to the remarks in question, they happen to be perfectly true. If I – or a team of medical experts – were to warn cigarette smokers of the dangers of their lifestyle, and how they are cutting years from their lives, would Julia blast us and accuse of making “heartless” comments?

Since when does speaking truth, and warning folks of danger ahead, render one heartless? As I said, the health risks of the homosexual lifestyle are well known and they are very dangerous indeed. Concerning the life expectancy issue, as I documented in my book, Strained Relations, this is exactly the case:

“A number of studies have demonstrated this. For example, a study in the International Journal of Epidemiology found that homosexual men, because of HIV/AIDS and other diseases, can expect to live up to 21 years less than other men. The authors state, ‘In a major Canadian centre, life expectancy at age 20 years for gay and bisexual men is 8 to 20 years less than for all men. If the same pattern of mortality were to continue, we estimate that nearly half of gay and bisexual men currently aged 20 years will not reach their 65th birthday. Under even the most liberal assumptions, gay and bisexual men in this urban centre are now experiencing a life expectancy similar to that experienced by all men in Canada in the year 1871’.”

I have entire chapters documenting the extremely risky and dangerous lifestyle that homosexuality is. My book has over 700 footnotes documenting this and related truths – truths which the militants, the MSM, and Julia simply do not wish to face.

Let me quote a bit more from my book: “A lot of medical evidence, as recorded in such journals as The Lancet, The Journal of the American Medical Association, and The British Medical Journal, has shown how unhealthy homosexual practices can be. According to Dr Klamecki, a proctologist of 30 years experience, the sexual practices of the average homosexual typically affect ‘the oral cavities, lungs, penis, prostate, bladder, anus, perianal areas outside of the rectum, rectum, colon, vagina, uterus, pelvic area, brain, skin, blood, immune system, and the other body systems.’

“A number of practices – some which are offensive enough so that they cannot be described in detail here – entail serious health risks. Such behaviours are not unknown among heterosexuals, but are far less frequently practiced. For example, a 1992 study found that ‘fisting’ or ‘handballing’ is practiced by some 42 per cent of the male homosexual community, but only by 2 per cent of the male heterosexual community. Twenty nine per cent of male homosexuals report being involved in ‘golden showers’ while only 4 per cent of male heterosexuals have practiced it. Also, 37 per cent of male homosexuals indulge in sadomasochism, contrasted to 5 per cent of heterosexual males.

“The Australian Sydney Men and Sexual Health (SMASH) report found that 70 per cent of homosexual men with regular male partners engaged in ‘rimming’, 20 per cent engaged in sado-masochism, and 20 per cent engaged in group sex. It found that in sexual behaviour with casual male partners, 47 per cent engaged in group sex.

“A more recent SMASH report found these trends continuing, and getting words. Over a four year period over 21 per cent of male homosexuals had over fifty sexual partners. Also over a four year period, 40 per cent of male homosexuals engaged in sado-masochism, and 25 per cent engaged in ‘watersports’ with regular partners. And with casual male partners, 45 per cent engaged in S&M and 20 percent engaged in ‘watersports’. Finally, over 82 per cent had engaged in group sex with casual partners over the last four years.”

And we are supposed to encourage, promote, celebrate and glorify such lifestyles? We do everything we possibly can to discourage cigarette smoking, as dangerous as that lifestyle is. Yet Julia and her militant friends want us to bend over backwards in pushing this utterly dangerous and high risk lifestyle.

What was that about ‘whom the gods would destroy, they first make crazy’? Indeed, as has also been said, “Truth is hate for those who hate the truth.”

  1. The scenario to put to the activists is to propose this:
if they had an emergency where a loved one was unconscious and needed blood urgently and they had two potential O-negative (can be safely given to anyone) donors with the only difference between the two being that one engages in homosexual sex –
Who would they choose to donate the blood?

Even a hesitation in reply is hard evidence of the insanity of political correctness. To normal people unperturbed by gaystapo intimidation, the question is a total no-brainer and takes but a second to answer.

I wonder what Julia would say?

…It is true that Gillard should not have been invited in the first place, but maybe all’s well that ends well.

  2. It seems that the gaystapo can’t stand the chance that people might actually hear the truth about the health risks of certain sexual behaviour so they are going all out to deflect the issue to youth suicide stats (always the Christians fault, of course) and claiming the evidence is “old” as if that automatically made it untrue. That and of course attacking the man personally.

Two notables are Susie O’Brien from the Herald-Sun and Crikey

But I still come back to the blood issue I mentioned above. Perhaps some US Health authority background about blood donations may help:
    http://www.fda.gov/biologicsbloodvaccines/bloodbloodproducts/questionsaboutblood/ucm108186.htm

Also some knowledge about HIV transmission and sexual behaviour is worth reading about:

Compare the vagina with the rectum in respect of potential HIV transmission:
    V: Elastic fibres present
    R: No elastic fibres
    V: 25-40 cells thick wall
    R: 1 cell
V: Ph low – inactivates the virus
    R: Ph higher
    V: No M cells
R: M cells present. Their function? To attract foreign particles for transmission to the immune system – the very target of HIV.

To an extent, the rectum is setup to absorb foreign particles. It is part of the digestive system, after all.

Anal sex – mandated by homosexual male sex, and completely avoidable in heterosexual sex (although some couples stupidly choose to ignore this) is dangerous. And this is just one aspect of the risks. Wallace is right, and O’Brien and Crikey et al simply want to deflect attention away from the truth.

  3. Trust JuLIAR to blend fact with fudge. Jim Wallace was clearly and objectively stating the comparative medical facts of smoking and homosexuality. She has smeared Jim by linking his facts to her erroneous social comments. I cannot understand how such a shallow-thinking person got so far. Oh wait…I think I do…

‘I believe yesterday’s comments by Jim Wallace were offensive.

  4. Wallace got it right with a real nail in the coffin by highlighting the demand of the homosexual community for government health grants as a contradiction to their stance. If there are no health problems relating to homosexuality and homosexual behavior, why are they getting together under the homosexual health banner for government handouts? Either homosexuality impacts health or it doesn’t.

The statistics scream that it does, big time negatively!

    Simon Fox

  5. It is absolutely outrageous that every packet of cigarettes carries a health warning: “SMOKING CAN KILL YOU.” When will smokers demand from the Advertising Standards Agencies that this statement be banned. Clearly this is incitement to fagophobia, causing yet more smokers to die in their thousands, because not enough funding is being made to teach them how to smoke without any consequences. We see thousands of these poor victims of prejudice, stigma, discrimination and lack of inclusion, being driven out of their office buildings, work places, onto the streets and into dangerous places like doorways and back alleys, to puff on their fags. It is here where they develop internalised fagophobia caused directly through society’s lack of acceptance and unconditional love. The more anxious they become; the more they smoke without taking due precautions. It’s a sight to melt the heart of the most hardened fagophobe.

We must get all major companies and organs of civilisation, such as the government, Home Office, Police, banks, Armed Forces, Airways, Health Services, unions, Department of Education to support a fagopride parade, where smokers can march, strut, puff, cough, belch and wheeze, dressed in their uniforms, through our cities, with rainbow smoke billowing out of every available orifice. Only then will society accept smokers as we readily accept the LGBTs.

  7. It makes you wonder just how bad the next STI health scare will have to become before the Main Stream Media manages to find the courage to publish it.

  8. Thank God you’re not a pastor Bill, you’re far more effective from here.
    Bill Rizo

  9. Thanks for you comments and research Bill. I was about to ask you about this on Facebook and I check this site and found just what I wanted – facts to post on Andrew Bolt’s web site to set the record straight on the homosexual lifestyle and its associated risks.
    David Roberts

  10. David
It’s not that cigarettes cause cancer, it’s the inhaling of the smoke that comes off them.
    Daniel Kempton

  11. Firstly I agree with Bill Rizo whose complement probably echoes what I have been saying to you.
Secondly I agree that inviting Julia wasn’t such a smart move but then again the ACL attempts to portray itself as politically neutral so having the PM at its conference would have been a coup I suppose.
Finally, frankly I think Jim Wallace, for whom I have considerable respect was a bit silly to say what he did and my guess is he regrets it. A bad case of foot in mouth!
I actually completely agree with Julia Gillard’s reaction and I think I can safely say this is the first time I have agreed with anything she has ever said!
Arguing about the relative effects of smoking and homosexual activity on life expectancy in the context of the same sex marriage debate is not helpful. Let’s stick to the script.
Archbishop Peter Jensen said it all very well recently in his letter to clergy in the Sydney Diocese. So I might say did Cardinal Pell.
    John Bradford

  12. The consistent aim of the ‘Gay’ Lobby has been to legitimatize the relevant lifestyle totally irrespective of risks involved or of the health risks to participants. Any fact challenging that lifestyle is politically incorrect.
One can only guess if the noted rising incidence of syphilis is related to any particular behaviour.
    Well done, Bill.
    Arthur Hartwig

  13. I hope its a joke but I have just read online that Jeff Kennett has written to the ACL offering to be their keynote speaker for their conference. Apparently, he will tell the audience that a Christian view is to never accept discrimination….just what we need, another apostate lecturing to Christians. Hopefully the ACL will immediately reject such an offer.

  14. You might send Julia a copy of your book Bill, politely suggesting that her public role means she needs to be accurately informed about the grave health risks linked to the lifestyle for which she shows such support and misguided compassion. Grace converts hearts and heals spiritual blindness as God wills so our P.M. is not a hopeless case — mind you, I’m grateful not to be hanging by the neck while I wait for that desirable outcome!!

    Anna Cook

  15. Jeff Kennett needs to re-read his Bible. See 2 Corinthians 6:14. Now Jeff, where in the Bible is there a blanket ban on discrimination?

I’m pretty sure God discriminated when he saved only Noah and his family from the flood. I’m also certain that God discriminated when he saved only Lot and his daughters from Sodom and Gomorrah. Maybe discrimination isn’t always a bad thing!

    Mario Del Giudice

  16. “Facts are meaningless”

I don’t know why we bother with facts since obviously they don’t mean a thing.

    Ian Nairn

  17. Good article Bill, I find the media will report 10 letters against comments by Jim Wallace to 1 or 2 for him. Why are we labelled homophobic, bigots, ill-informed, negative, haters, etc etc if we don`t condone homosexual sexual activity? Schools are pushed to teach the health aspects of smoking, but pushed to NOT tell of the health aspects of anal sex, then they are encouraged to promote this lifestyle choice as healthy, natural and a legitimate activity. What does our government think of our children?

    Johannes Archer

  18. David Skinner UK, I don`t have sound on my computer so won`t check those sites, but I have to say, your comments are excellent.

    Johannes Archer

  19. Hi Bill, Seems like you opened a can of worms on this topic.
Comments above are most varied. The ACL could not be better served with P.M. renigging on her commitment. As you rightly stated she should not have been invited in the first place. I am sure Jim Wallace will find a much more appropriate person, with much higher draw card ability than that of the P.M. The suggestion of one commentator, for you to send a copy of your book “Strained Relations” to Julia Gillard would be most appropriate. Not to worry Bill one day soon the truth will all be revealed.
Keep up the good fight, you’re doing just fine.
    Bill Heggers, Perth

  20. Thank you for your fearless and outspoken viewpoint, Bill. I think it was Jim who inadvertently opened the current can o’ worms, but it is great to see significant Christian leaders like you and Bishop Jensen leaping to his support. I was also dismayed to see Julia as Keynote speaker at this particular event, and not sorry she’s pulled out. We have many top, articulate Christians in this country, and hope one of them is chosen to replace her! And now’d be the time to advertise your ‘controversial book’ country wide!

    Brenda Rudolph

  21. Thanks David

I have mentioned it a few times already here and there – he basically did quite well. May write it all up soon.

  22. Bill:
You provided a quote from a Canadian study that said:

” … life expectancy at age 20 years for gay and bisexual men is 8 to 20 years less than for all men.”

Treatment methods for HIV infection have improved dramatically since the days that data was collected (1987 to 1992). The data has changed sufficiently that the authors of the Canadian study released a follow-up statement in 2001 where they said:

“In contrast, if we were to repeat this analysis today the life expectancy of gay and bisexual men would be greatly improved. Deaths from HIV infection have declined dramatically in this population since 1996. As we have previously reported there has been a threefold decrease in mortality in Vancouver as well as in other parts of British Columbia.”
    (source: http://ije.oxfordjournals.org/content/30/6/1499.full )

What are your thoughts on this?
    Darryl Stringer

  23. Thanks Darryl

The short answer is: if this is not just a rhetorical question on your part but in fact genuine, then a book I can recommend with over 700 footnotes on this might be the place to begin. But we have already had this discussion.

Also, so what? If it turns out it is 17 years less, or 13 years less, do you think that is somehow a great thing? Any lifestyle while results in a reduction in life expectancy is a clearly a bad thing, and it is always tragic when people have to die early because of their lifestyle, as well as suffer a host of lifestyle-associated health risks.

And of course as the study clearly stated, it is not just about HIV/AIDS. This is just one of many problems homosexual experience. So even leaving that aside, there are still plenty of other major health risks involved which lead to shortened lifespans among homosexuals. But again, I deal with all this in great detail in my book, So the day you actually get it and read it (or any book like it from overseas) will be the day when I no longer fear you are just asking rhetorical question here, but in fact are actually interested in following the evidence wherever it may lead.

    Bill Muehlenberg, CultureWatch

  24. Although Julia Gillard is in step with post-modernist life styles she has professed a deep love for her father. We are aware that she has sometimes referred to her christian family formation. It is therefore a strange follow-up of events that her father “suddenly died” after she made her vicious attack on Jim Wallace!! One may wonder about personal and political influences that determined her original decision to speak at ACL Conference! Was there a hidden agenda?
