Evil, darkness, unrighteousness and ungodliness are coming in like a tsunami all over the West. There is great moral, political, social, cultural and spiritual evil engulfing our lands. It can seem overwhelming at times. But we can and must fight back. We must resist. We must stand strong.
Here I want to speak about some ways that this can be done. And I will break it down into two main areas: people power and divine power. Of course the biblical Christian believes both go together. Believers are to act, to pray, and to get involved as they seek God to move on their behalf.
It is always that way. Without God we are all toast, and we will get nothing done of any lasting value. But God has chosen to work through his people. As but one example, when the evil slave trade finally came crashing down in Britain, it did not happen purely by human effort – divine help was needed all along the way. But if people like Wilberforce had not gotten involved, we still might have slavery today in the West.
People Power
Some of the great evils of recent times have been the diabolical power grabs by governments and politicians under the guise of ‘keeping us safe’. The horrifying Big Brother overreach and the shameful assault on basic human rights and civil liberties has really been the most shocking thing I have seen Western government do in my lifetime.
And the ugly new discrimination and apartheid that is being blatantly promoted and celebrated is nauseating to behold. Consider this ugly and vile threat made by one big cheese in Queensland:

You won’t be able to hide, (…) it is going to be very hard to maintain your employment if you are not vaccinated and you won’t be able to go anywhere for any entertainment. That is just disgusting. Hitler would be proud. This MUST stop now. Vaccine passports, mandatory jabs and grotesque demonisation of those who have legitimate hesitancy has been terrible to behold. As I wrote yesterday:

That is why tens of thousands of people in Melbourne – and elsewhere – are taking to the streets in protest. Another mass march is on right now, and if it were not for an ill family member I would have been there instead of writing this piece. But I certainly hope to be there next week.
And this has been a terrific example of people power in action. Our deaf and morally moribund leaders really do not give a rip about the people and all the damage they are causing. They only care about one thing: power, and forever staying in power. To hell with everything and everyone else.
As we are now starting to see marches with 20,000 or 30,000 or more people, that just might wake them up a little bit. If the diabolical Dan Andrews still retains his heart of stone, perhaps some of his colleagues and cabinet members just might be woken up by these huge protest marches. Let’s pray that they do.
But tiresome critics tell me to just ease up, claiming that if I do not like the government I can vote against them next year. Yeah right. The way things are going, there may well be no free and democratic elections next year. Andrews wants total power and control over this state, and I already made the case that even elections are at risk. As I said in one piece:
If you liked the lockdowns, business closures, spikes in mental health problems, destroyed economies, curfews, and all the rest that Andrews has subjected us to – the longest and harshest in the entire world – then you will love what is coming next if this Bill gets passed. Of course signing petitions alone will not save the day. It is a start, but much more needs to be done.
God power
As vitally important as it is for the masses to wake up and get involved, at the end of the day this will not be enough. We are not just dealing with political strongholds and evil in governments, but we are dealing with spiritual strongholds and evil in the heavenly places.
So we certainly must act and get involved – for sure. But we must also engage in the spiritual arena. Prayer of course is strategically important here. Engaging in intercessory prayer and spiritual warfare is just as crucial as attending a protest march. The truth is, we must be doing both.
And that is why I am so massively encouraged by what I am seeing in the Melbourne freedom marches. In the past it may have been mainly angry non-Christians rightly demanding their freedoms back and an end to government tyranny. But now Christians by the thousands are joining in as well. That is fantastic!
As I write this piece, on-fire Christians that I know are there and they are sending back pics and videos. They are part of huge crowds demanding that health apartheid ends, and that the push by Andrews to make himself Dictator for Life is defeated. I am thrilled to see Christians engaging in this way.
And forget the liars in the lamestream media who are trying to tell us that mere hundreds have attended these marches, and that they are all just anti-vaxxers. Baloney. Tens of thousands are marching, and the overwhelming majority are NOT anti-vax, and most HAVE been vaxxed. But they ARE dead set against health fascism, and against the evil Andrews’ bill giving him unlimited tyrannical powers.
But back to prayer. One of my main prayers over the course of the past few years has been “improve or remove”. Let these wicked tyrants in the West – be they Andrews or McGowan or Palaszczuk or Ardern or Trudeau – either get gloriously saved, or moved out – one way or another. And that is a quite biblical prayer to pray. As but one example, Psalm 109:8 says this: “Let his days be few and brief; and let others step forward to replace him.”
Let me close with some clear biblical cases of ‘improve or remove’. I am once again reading the book of Acts and we find examples of both there. In each case God’s people would have been praying for these evil leaders, and some amazing results took place as a result. Consider the wicked Saul who was persecuting the church. This is what happened to him, as we read in Acts 9:1-9:
But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. Saul rose from the ground, and although his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. So they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.
He was wondrously improved! He was converted and helped to turn the world upside down. Paul ended up writing a large part of the New Testament – among other things. But other evil leaders were removed – big time, as is the case with King Herod. Acts 12:20-23 says this:
Now Herod was angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon, and they came to him with one accord, and having persuaded Blastus, the king’s chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their country depended on the king’s country for food. On an appointed day Herod put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and delivered an oration to them. And the people were shouting, “The voice of a god, and not of a man!” Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.
There you go. Some folks are saved and have their lives radically turned round. Some persist in their evil and hardheartedness, and are removed from action. I will keep praying this for our leaders today. Nothing less will suffice. And I know that many other Christians are praying the same way.
I must say, for the first time in a long time, I am starting to have hope. Depression and despair are giving way to guarded optimism. When the people stand up and get involved, and when prayerful Christians stand up and get involved, then we are getting somewhere!
May it long continue. This is how mountains are moved.

This so called Pandemic Bill in Victoria should be renamed the Danistan Bill by all who oppose it. MSM like to put labels on various groups so those opposed to the narrative can do likewise, According to one friend in Melbourne who was there both last week and this week it was 50K at the former and 85K yesterday. Crowds are difficult to estimate but when the MSM say hundreds like they did last week when clearly it was tens of thousands they have lost all credibility.

Of course we also have to try to discover God’s will in all this too. Is there a purpose for this draconianism??? Is a even darker period coming??? Is this simply the prelude, giving us a glimpse of the main portion, in which we have time to make connections and communities to survive and thrive without government. The early disciples were hated by their government too and yet God was not without witness in fact under persecution was when the Church saw it biggest growth! Perhaps God is separating us from the world by force since we won’t do so voluntarily.
We should be open to that and search for God’s purpose. After all the church, and various Christian groups or individuals, have sometimes assumed God’s purpose to it’s detriment. (Quite a few evils have been done in God’s names and many mistakes justified by “this is God’s will”)

In the OT the inspired canonical prophets told the people what Yahweh’s purposes were, especially about things like God using nations to judge Israel, etc. We do not have the same prophetic voices today. So we can all trust that God is ultimately in charge, and is carrying out his purposes. But we still fight evil and resist tyranny. Having a high view of God’s sovereignty does not – should not – make us fatalists. I too wonder why God is allowing things like Dictator Dan, but I also know I must be salt and light and I must stand against tyrants who think they are God. If we knew every detail of what God was up to, we would not need to have faith I suppose, so there is a place for some mystery and wonder, even in what God is up to.
It would appear, that the Andrews government is attempting to use every sleazy trick in their book of how to use sleazy trickery. The sleaziness I’m suggesting, is that they will run with this draconian legislation and hope of getting it passed through the state’s Legislative Assembly.
Most every critic of this bill agrees in essence, that it will give Andrews unfettered power. so absolute are the powers he will have that he could, at the stroke of a pen, declare Martial law, the consequences of which could mean, at the pleasure of the premier, the deferment of Victorian state elections. Though the bill sights the Victorian Health Minister as the trigger to invoking Pandemic laws, be under no misapprehension, Andrews pulls all the strings.
Under this legislative law, Andrews could differ the state election indefinitely, and just play a waiting game till his favor resurfaces. Hopefully, the three independents who Andrews scheme hangs on will be honourable rather than dishonourable, and value wisely not miserly.

Were it not for the likes of yourself and Caldron Pool and Lifesite news and other conservative Christian pro-life sites I would think that there was a 13th commandment: “Thou shalt be vaccinated or else not a Christian!”! And have these earnest folks actually looked at the hermeneutics of Romans 13?
May may I make a few comments regarding the rallies? I was on a euphoric high after attending a rally Saturday week ago. Wonderful to realise there are other Christians who follow Holy Spirit’s lead in a different direction. Here it was like going to a rock concert with thousands unmasked and on the same tune. It was like being at a rock concert such encouraging solidarity and a chance to shout in protest.
However I came home that night and read a post by Karen Brewer on the Telegram site Bush Telegraph. Karen is very Savvy and points out that thousands of people shouting “Sack Dan Andrews” “Save our Children”, ” Free Victoria” at an EMPTY PARLIAMENT is actually quite useless.
We all want this, but is it a strategy which will work? There is nobody listening, no matter how i well many thousands are shouting.
We are called to use wisdom and intelligence. “Behold I send you for that as sheep amongst wolves. BE THEREFORE wise as serpents and gentle as a doves” Matthew 10:16
Basically her approach is to make a powerful STAND. She reminds us that only the Governors have reserve powers to issue writs to sack Dan Andrews, parliament, the Legislative Assembly. To call a new election, block legislation which she must sign off on.
Karen encourages people in Australia and New Zealand to MAKE a STAND outside their Government House each day from 11 till 12 in silence then calling the Governor and ask to speak to them to request THE WRITS: there is always someone home even if it’s her staff or a recorded message .
This is not a protest. There can be no censuring of quiet orderly behaviour. The police guards at GH are friendly and helpful.
The idea is:
SILENCE, NO PLACARDS, NO SPEECHES.
I went last Thursday with 30 people, we were joined by a Christian woman who had travelled in on her own. On Saturday I went in alone to stand, this woman had also come not knowing if there would be anyone else.
We made a stand of two, but we know ” Whenever two or more are gathered in my Name ….” Matt 8:20.
This is a funeral not a rock concert. People are dying in this war. Victoria is dying or at least on life support.
Ricardo Bosi has spoken to all state governors so we know she is on notice to do the right thing. If not then improve or move will have real meaning for Governor Linda Dessau.

I am happy whenever and however people take a stand, be it a silent prayer time, contacting MPs, writing letters, signing petitions, holding prayer walks, attending large protest marches, etc. I don’t think any of them are useless or a waste of time, especially if God is guiding people to do these things. And of course politicians ARE very sensitive to what the media is reporting, and when even the lamestream media is covering these mass marches, most MPs will stand up and take notice. So they are not useless, but are just one way of many of getting involved and making a stand. In fact, I am sure that the crowds of loud and proud protesters really have helped to shift things at least somewhat, so that Dan is now at least considering amendments to his horrific bill. Had there been none of these big rallies, I doubt if he would have bended in this way. But thanks for your thoughts. We all need to take a stand, however we feel led.

From Queensland, I am not very close to the action, apart from what I hear from my two kids in Melbourne, and the sense that under Queen Anastasia, Queensland is probably not far behind Victoria. But from this distance, it looks like what needs to happen is to take the protests to the offices of every Labor or Independent local member, preferably when they are present. Given that it might be spreading people rather thinly, it might be necessary to target, say, 5 offices per week or something. Currently they are in fear of what Andrews will do to them if they turn on him – they need to become convinced of what will happen to them next election, if not sooner, if they let Andrews keep going on his current reckless path. That’s much more likely if the see the numbers and passion for themselves, outside their own offices. My $0.02 worth.

From Queensland, I am not very close to the action, apart from what I hear from my two kids in Melbourne, and the sense that under Queen Anastasia, Queensland is probably not far behind Victoria. But from this distance, it looks like what needs to happen is to take the protests to the offices of every Labor or Independent local member, preferably when they are present. Given that it might be spreading people rather thinly, it might be necessary to target, say, 5 offices per week or something. Currently they are in fear of what Andrews will do to them if they turn on him – they need to become convinced of what will happen to them next election, if not sooner, if they let Andrews keep going on his current reckless path. That’s much more likely if the see the numbers and passion for themselves, outside their own offices. My $0.02 worth.
Yes Peter, if Andrews pulls off this ‘Dictator for Life’ bill, then other power-hungry despots like Queen A and WA’s McGowen will seek to do the same.
