Moonbattery Multiplied

There is never a shortage of things to write about, especially with all the regular cases of moonbattery besieging the West. Any day of the week a number of headlines will confirm that the moonbats are alive and well, and doing inestimable harm to the rest of society.

Consider three brand new examples. The first has to do with one of the most slime-ridden and putrid outfits going at the moment, Ashley Madison. These folks really do need to crawl back under the rock from which they emerged. They are simply a despicable lot. I have written about these sleazeballs earlier: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2010/04/12/getting-rich-from-busting-up-marriages/

They are a dating service with a twist: they seek to destroy marriages by arranging affairs. Their motto is, “Life is short. Have an affair”. Now they are offering $1 million to get Christian quarterback Tim Tebow sacked, or rather, into the sack.

The famous New York Jets quarterback is noted for his outspokenness about his Christian faith, and his emphasis on reserving sex for marriage, and celebrating his own virginity. So now these low-lifes are targeting him big time. One article says this:

“Ashley Madison provides matches for those seeking an extramarital affair. The company is described on its homepage as the ‘most recognized name in infidelity.’ Throughout his career in both college and the pros, Tebow has proudly declared his devotion to Christian beliefs, which include abstinence until marriage. He is scheduled to appear at two Christian universities this week in Ohio for a forum on ‘faith and football.’ According to Ashley Madison, it’s more like sex and football.”

And they are happy to pay a guy as well if he can prove he has sacked the quarterback. If this is not an example of degenerate moonbattery, I don’t know what is. Even one secular news writer had to say, “Ugh. It’s just tacky when people use Tebow for personal or financial gain. Leave him alone, you know.”

The second example has to do with those holy rollers, the angry atheists. They continue on their fundamentalist crusade to rid the world of religion – except for their own of course. Consider what these fanatics are now trying to do. They want a long-standing cross to be torn down, as it causes them great offence.

Says one write-up: “An atheist group is pressuring Woonsocket, R.I., to remove a 91-year-old Latin cross located in the City of Woonsocket’s fire station parking lot. The Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) announced this week that they had sent a letter to Woonsocket Mayor Leo Fontaine requesting that the city not only remove the cross, but also scrub a memorial angel and prayer — which they describe as ‘woefully out of date’ — from the fire department’s website.

“According to the group, it is illegal for the city to promote any religion. . . . The World War I memorial cross has been a staple of the city since it was erected in 1921 to honor Woonsocket veterans. The Woonsocket Call has reported that with the city close to bankruptcy, it likely cannot afford a legal battle with the group.

“Fontaine told the local paper that the city is examining options and various ways to keep the cross. ‘I have no intention of removing the cross under any circumstances,’ Fontaine said. On Wednesday, Woonsocket City Council President John F. Ward defended the cross: ‘I think the organization is completely off base in their objections,’ Ward told The Providence Journal, adding that if ‘they were right then we would have to rebuild the Supreme Court houses in Washington… and we would have to close the Arlington National Cemetery’.”

These guys will not rest until every last vestige of religion is wiped from the face of the earth. In their zeal and hatred, they put any earlier Crusaders to shame. They are men on a mission, an unholy mission to secularise the earth, and destroy it in the process.

My last example comes from another group so very well known for their tolerance and acceptance. Just like the misotheists, the homosexual militants are on a crusade to eliminate religion and foist their radical agenda on the rest of the world – whether they like it or not.

And once again the gaystapo have shown us their true colours: they are militant fascists who would make the Nazis proud. Yet another church has been attacked by the jackboots. The headline goes like this: “‘Angry Queers’ damage Driscoll’s Portland church”.

Here is how the story goes: “A satellite church affiliated with controversial Seattle pastor Mark Driscoll was vandalized early Tuesday (April 24) and a group calling itself the ‘Angry Queers’ has reportedly taken responsibility. Stained glass and other windows were broken at the Mars Hill Church, according to a post on the Facebook page of Pastor Tim Smith.

“‘Neighbors of the church reported seeing several young adults in black masks throwing large rocks into the windows,’ a church news release said. ‘Police stated that a bank in the area was also vandalized in the same way and that they believe the vandalism was planned ahead of time, most likely by an activist group.’

“On Tuesday, KPTV FOX 12 reported it had received an email from someone using the name ‘Angry Queers’ and claiming responsibility. Mars Hill Portland opened last October. During the first service, protesters gathered in front of the church and yelled obscenities at worshipers to speak out against the church’s stance on homosexuality.

“Mars Hill Church was founded in Seattle about 15 years ago by Pastor Mark Driscoll, who preaches against homosexuality and believes it’s a sin.”

These ugly physical attacks on churches and Christians are becoming all too common. Just days ago I had to run the gauntlet of the militants to get into a church meeting celebrating marriage and family. I well know how the other side operates.

They scream about tolerance and diversity all the time, but they, like the atheists, do not for a moment really believe in tolerance or diversity. They only believe in their own agenda, and that all other points of view must be shouted down, if not shut down.

It may just be a matter of time before these two groups (and they are often one and the same), start going through homes, grabbing books, and burning them on the streets. Oh yeah, that has happened not too long ago. But I guess we have not learned the lessons of history.

So the moonbat brigade with their anti-faith, anti-family, and anti-freedom crusade continues to steamroll ahead. The concern is, however, this can only go on for so long. Soon enough, society will lie in ashes, and the revolutionaries can then pat themselves on the back and celebrate.

As G.K. Chesterton once put it, “The secularists have not wrecked divine things; but the secularists have wrecked secular things, if that is any comfort to them. The Titans did not scale heaven; but they laid waste the world.”

  1. 0600 UK time.

I’ve just looked at the Mars Hill report and looked at some of the comments.

Perhaps I’m the strange one, but I find it really bizarre how some people are thinking and reasoning these days. (It really is an illustration of what happens when a nation turns its back on the Lord.)

  2. Why can’t the abusers stop abusing and start living their own lives like responsible adults?

  3. A couple of thoughts – If adultery was a criminal offence as it once was and as it still should be, then outfits like Ashley Madison could be closed down for promoting crime. And why don’t these “Freedom From Religion” groups object to all these state funded natural history museums that preach the religion of evolution?

  4. As someone commented to me yesterday: contrast this behaviour with what is demanded of protestors at abortion clinics. Do I detect a double standard here?
Perhaps it’s time we let the authorities (Police Depts) know that, as far as protests go, they need to adopt a one-size-fits-all approach.
