A political ideology which seeks global hegemony is not relenting in its aims, and continues to steadfastly pursue its objectives. Islam is an expansionist faith which seeks universal submission of all people to the dictates of Allah and sharia law.
But the West is basically happy to sleep right through all this. Freedoms are being taken away from us and democracy is being curtailed, yet very few are awake enough to see the threat staring us in the face. Creeping sharia is taking its toll big time yet we would rather be absorbed in our trivial pursuits.
But for those with ears to hear, let me look at some recent frightening examples of this. Consider several incredible stories from the UK. The first one concerns a woman who lost her job at a public school for upsetting a Muslim. The story goes like this:
“Alison Waldock, 51, said she forgot seven year-old Khadija Darr’s dietary needs when she asked if she wanted gammon with her dinner, and the youngster said yes. The headteacher of Queen Edith Primary School in Cambridge spotted the mistake as the youngster was about to tuck into the meat and swept the plate away from her.
“But after the girl’s parents were told about the mistake, they complained to the school’s catering firm and Alison, a dinner lady for 11 years, was suspended and then dismissed. The incident occured at Queen Edith Primary School in Cambridge
“Alison, a mother-of-two and grandmother-of-one, said: ‘I feel the school and catering company made me a scapegoat so they can’t be seen as politically incorrect. I was really upset when I found out what I’d done. I’d never have done something like this on purpose. It was a simple mistake – I was so gutted with the school’s reaction. I’m now too scared of taking any similar catering jobs with the council. I don’t think I will ever work as a dinner lady again. I don’t want to go through all this again – it has been horrible.’
“Alison, who also has one grandchild, added: ‘I said I was sorry and that it was a mistake. A week later there was an investigation and I was told that the school did not want me on site. I was gobsmacked. I haven’t been back since. I feel so let down by the school. I had worked there a long time. I just made a mistake and I am sorry’.”
Also in the UK, consider this amazing headline: “Police sniffer dogs trained to spot terrorists at railway stations may no longer come into contact with Muslim passengers – after complaints that it is against the suspects’ religion.” Never mind that the overwhelming majority of terrorist attacks today come from the ‘religion of peace’.
The story begins: “A report for the Transport Department has raised the prospect that the animals should only touch passengers’ luggage because it is considered ‘more acceptable’. In the Muslim faith, dogs are deemed to be spiritually ‘unclean’. But banning them from touching passengers would severely restrict their ability to do their job.
“The report follows trials of station security measures in the wake of the 2005 London suicide bomb attacks. In one trial, some female Muslims said the use of a body scanner was also unacceptable because it was tantamount to being forced to strip.”
Saving lives in the UK now evidently takes second place to political correctness and creeping sharia. And consider a third example from England where a life actually was lost: “An elderly woman was left on the floor at a care home for up to ten minutes because a nurse was praying, an inquest heard.
“Alzheimer’s sufferer Dorothy Griffiths, 87, was found sitting down after staff heard a bang and a carer went to the office for help to lift her. But agency nurse Abdul Bhutto, who was in charge, said they would have to wait. Carer Zoe Shaw told the Sheffield hearing: ‘It took between five and ten minutes because he was praying upstairs in the office on his prayer mat. A staff member told me we had to wait for him to finish.’
“An ambulance was not called for nearly four hours after Mrs Griffiths fell from bed and cut her head and suffered a gash to her hip at the privately-run Valley Park Nursing Home in Wombwell, near Barnsley. She died later in hospital. Mr Bhutto failed to appear at the inquest and a summons had to be issued for him to attend the resumed hearing later in the year.”
Of course Australia is not doing any better here. Check out this recent headline from an Indonesian newspaper; “Australia helps ‘Madrasahs’ get national accreditation”. The story opens, “The Australian government, through Australian Aid (AusAID), has handed over aid totaling A$500 million for 1,500 Islamic schools to attain national accreditation.
“‘We understand that around 20 percent of students in Indonesia attend Islamic schools, locally known as “Madrasahs”, which makes them an important part of Indonesian education. There are things in “Madrasahs” that need to be supported to get national accreditation,’ Deputy Australian Ambassador to Indonesia David Engel said in Jakarta on Tuesday night, as quoted by Antara news agency.”
Umm, yeah. Madrassas are also hotspots of Islamist hate speech and jihadist training grounds. A terrific breeding ground for up and coming jihadists, these are clearly not places Australian citizens should be pouring their hard-earned money into.
All this – and more – is really about “Opening Wide the Gates of Vienna” as commentator David Solway puts it. He writes: “Those who defend or support Islam against the claim that it is an inherently violent, aggressive and sanguinary faith disregard or are ignorant of the concept of a frequency of distribution of extreme events.
“As Paul Austin Murphy points out in an article for American Thinker, as if in confirmation of Samuel Huntington’s statement that the borders of Islam are bloody, Islam is the key ingredient in the civil wars and sporadic conflicts raging in the Philippines, Thailand, Nigeria, Kenya, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kashmir, India, Indonesia, the Sudan, Lebanon (and Syria, of course), Ethiopia, Chad—to name only some of the trouble spots.
“Islam has also breached the West, sectors of major cities having become Sharia enclaves and no-go zones, and civil violence, rapes, ‘grooming,’ murders, riots, and the takeover of municipal residential zones proceeding on a daily basis. 91% of honor killings worldwide are committed by Muslims.”
He concludes: “The gates of Vienna have been opened wide. What Islam could not accomplish in 1683 by military assault, it is now in the process of achieving via immigration, accompanied by spasmodic bouts of terror and with the eager complicity of Western intellectuals, submissive politicians, befuddled clergy and a debauched media apparatus. Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin. The writing is on the wall.”
It sure is. But we are snoozing through the whole sordid affair. We don’t want to know about it and we don’t care about it. But we will – when it is too late. I for one will take a stand now before we no longer have the freedom to do so.
