Planned Parenthood: The Gift That Keeps On Giving

You gotta love it when one of the most sinister and despicable organisations in the world keeps outing itself. Any outfit that gets rich off of killing babies is right up there with the Nazi killing machine, and every new video released by the Center for Medical Progress is another long overdue nail in its coffin.

The latest video is an absolute shocker. If it does not make you feel utterly sick, then you are devoid of a conscience. This may well be the most damning video so far. Please watch it and share it widely. As one report states:

A third Planned Parenthood video was released Tuesday morning that features a whistleblower who says her biomedical company would compensate Planned Parenthood clinics for fetal organs based on their condition and quality after being extracted from an abortion. Holly O’Donnell is a former technician for California-based Stem Express, a company that contracts with abortion clinics for the tissue.
“The more valuable the tissue the more money you get, so if you can somehow procure a brain or a heart you’re going to get more money than just umbilical cord,” O’Donnell says in the video. “So I guess that’s incentive to try and get the hard stuff because they get more money.”
The footage shows medical professionals picking through trays of aborted fetal tissue for legs and other recognizable body parts. O’Donnell says that when she was asked to participate, she fainted. She also names Cate Dyer, the president and founder of Stem Express, saying Dyer makes “a lot of money.”
“It’s basically a huge trafficking of fetal tissues,” O’Donnell says. “It’s a pretty sick company.” The video also features Katharine Sheehan, medical director for Planned Parenthood Pacific Southwest, talking about procuring fetal organs with an actor posing as a buyer for a human tissue company.

Another report about the gruesome 11-minute video says this:

In a jarring interview, O’Donnell remembers learning that was part of her work routine. “I thought I was going to be just drawing blood, not procuring tissue from aborted fetuses,” O’Donnell said. But on her first day on the job in 2012, she remembers someone emptying a bottle of blood into a strainer, then placing its contents onto a plate.
Her trainer began pulling aborted babies’ body parts out of the mass of tissue. “She said, ‘OK, this is a head. This is an arm. This is a leg,'” O’Donnell remembers. Then the trainer asked her if she could identify the body parts.
“I took the tweezers. I put them in the dish. I remember grabbing the leg…and the moment I picked it up I just feel like deaths and pain…shoot up through my body,” O’Donnell says. “I blacked out, basically.” She says she had to be revived with smelling salts. Another worker tried to reassure her, saying, “Don’t worry. It still happens to a bunch of us. Some of us don’t ever get over it.”
“I remember leaving that day [thinking] like, what have I gotten myself into?” O’Donnell admits. In time, she found that the business owners “weren’t looking for any compassionate individual at all. They were just looking for someone who could get as much money, as many samples” as possible. “They wanted someone who could get the numbers up.”
She said the main nurse from Planned Parenthood was always concerned that StemExpress procure the specimens they sought – not because of concern of medical research, but because the facilities were compensated for it.
“For whatever we could procure, they would get a certain percentage,” she says. “The main nurse was always trying to make sure we got our specimens. No one else really cared, but the main nurse did because she knew that Planned Parenthood was getting compensated.”
“If you can somehow procure a brain or a heart, you’re going to get more money,” she adds. “It’s a pretty sick company.”

It sure is sick. It comes straight out of the pits of hell. In the light of all these recent revelations about PP, John Zmirak reminds us that things are no different here:

Planned Parenthood cannot rest at using taxpayer money to target the poor, the black, the disadvantaged unborn in America and simply leave it at that. Whatever spirits are guiding it, they goad it to go even further, and profit from the tiny dismembered bodies of its victims by taking them for parts. The sheer horror of the act makes us unwilling to face it, as Allied generals refused at first to believe what they saw when they liberated Nazi camps. But how else to explain those piles of carefully counted gold teeth, those shoes all neatly piled, lest anything go to waste?
My father served under General Patton in 1945, and he remembered how Patton reacted: He rounded up all the law-abiding, deferential German citizens of the nearest town, and forced them to walk through the camps, to see up close and personal what their Fuhrer had accomplished.
The Center for Medical Progress is emulating Patton, marching the flinching media through the medical waste bins and organ markets of America’s abortion industry. And Americans are following, tentatively, hoping that some rational explanation will be offered, so they don’t have to face the truth.

It certainly is time to face the truth. Jerry Newcombe rightly offers “7 questions for abortion supporters in light of the planned parenthood scandal”. Here are some of them:

2) Do the mothers undergoing the abortion know what is happening to the remains of their dead babies? In fact, how can one retain the maternal instinct and participate in the deliberate destruction of the unborn in the first place? As Mother Teresa once asked, “If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell others not to kill one another?”
4) If you say it’s okay to go ahead and sell human parts of the unborn babies for profit, where does society draw the line? Who’s to say an assisted-care facility should not sell parts from deceased patients for profit? Perhaps they could even speed up death in the interest of making money. There is no limit to the evil that could be done if this is acceptable.
5) If these aren’t little unborn babies being killed in the Planned Parenthood clinics, then how come someone at the clinic after each abortion has to reassemble all the parts of the aborted baby to make sure nothing is left in the womb, which could cause an infection?

There are good questions that deserve some solid answers. Finally, American pastor Douglas Wilson offers an ethical rationale for these undercover sting operations:

So what do I think of this operation? I think it is the best thing to happen to the pro-life cause since Roe introduced this bloody debacle into our national life. And I don’t just think this because God draws straight with crooked lines. In this case, He was drawing straight with straight lines. I believe that the next president should award the person who organized this operation with the Medal of Freedom. And prior to that, I believe pro-life activists should make a point of talking about this in superlatives. We should apply every accolade we can find.
So what about the deception involved then? I am glad you asked.
The Christian world has a long and checkered history when it comes to our debates about the ethics of deception. There are hardliners who want to say “no deception” ever. There are others who would regard lying to hide Jews from Nazis as a sin, but as a lesser sin than turning them over would be. So they lie in order to keep a clean conscience, and then confess the lie afterwards as a sin, in order to restore a clean conscience. Then there are others, like myself, who believe that Scripture fully allows (indeed requires) deception under certain conditions, while flatly forbidding it in others. If we want to tell the two situations apart, then we have to do some Bible study.
The view that Christians may never deceive in any situation whatever is exegetically and theologically indefensible, and rapidly devolves into silliness. Can a tank commander paint his tank to look like a bush when it is in fact not a bush? Is it all right, in a game of pick-up basketball, to fake left and drive right? When Jericho Homeland Security asked Rahab which way the spies went, no one thinks she should have said, “Thank you for this opportunity to come clean. They are up on the roof hiding under the flax.” And Rahab the harlot, brought up in a pietistic home, was justified by her scruples.
So back to the video sting. In my view, this situation is comparable to a combination of two different kinds of lawful biblical deception. The first has to do with the response of the Hebrew midwives to Pharaoh’s requirement of infanticide. In defense of innocent human life, they lied through their teeth, and God rewarded them by giving them families of their own….
Another scriptural category that I find helpful here is the category of deceiving someone in order to be able to confront them with the truth. The point is not to deceive, and then to sneak off to enjoy the fruit of the deception. The point is to deceive, and then to unveil the deception in such a dramatic way as to unmask unrighteousness that is being confronted. The point of such deception is to subsequently tell everyone what you had done. The point is to reveal, not to hide. The hiding is merely a preamble to a great unveiling of the truth — in this case, the truth that Planned Parenthood has far surpassed Mengele in cold-blooded, reptilian ghoulishness. This method is what the prophet Nathan did when he confronted David about Bathsheba….

Those involved in this exposure of PP say they have many more videos they will be releasing. This is terrific news and this is a group that deserves our highest praise. When Wilberforce and Co were seeking to expose the sordid details of the slave trade to their fellow Englishmen, they used every means possible to bring it to light.

They knew they had to show these ignorant folks just what was taking place in the slave industry. That in large measure is how they eventually won. It will be the same here. Most Americans and Westerners have no idea what is really happening in the abortion mills.

Well, it is high time they learned, and groups like CMP are doing a terrific job of removing the blinders from the eyes of so many folks.
