The Cultural Marxists’ War on Our Toddlers

OK, it has been at least a day since I last wrote about the mind-numbing insanity coming from the uber-left Dan Andrews’ Labor government in Victoria. If you blink you will miss yet another outrage. Just days ago I wrote about the diabolical targeting of toddlers by Andrews and the sexual militants: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2017/03/28/now-targeting-two-year-olds/

Well, incredibly, there is even more madness to this story. But it is not surprising, however, since the radical social engineers will never rest until everyone is subjugated to their nefarious agenda. Now the PC jihadists in Victoria want to go after traditional fairytales because they perpetuate ghastly sexual stereotypes!

Yes you heard that correctly. The latest victim of the PC police are the great fairytales we all grew up with and enjoyed. Consider how one news report covers this story:

Much loved fairytales and toys are at risk of being chopped from Victoria’s public schools after they were accused of promoting gender stereotypes. The Respectful Relationship program wants the likes of Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel analysed and compared to modern stories that challenge gender norms.
The program argues that traditional tales can create unrealistic standards as well as a “sense of entitlement in boys and lower self-esteem in girls”. Children are set to play a decisive role in what gets the chop too, acting as “fairytale detectives” to compare the roles of male and female characters in their favourite stories.

fairytale 2Another report looks at the wider agenda items being pushed here:

Early childhood teachers will be encouraged to intervene in “gendered play”, identify toys and books that reinforce gender stereotypes and avoid gender-specific language under a Victorian government plan to tackle family violence through preschools.
Teachers will also be asked to reflect on their own “conscious and unconscious biases”, “unpack their understanding of gender and gender identity” and avoid using terms such as “good morning princess” or “boys don’t cry”.
Fresh details of the respectful relationships training the government plans to provide to 4000 preschool teachers have emerged, with the public release of a professional learning kit that was used in a trial late last year.
As The Australian reported last month, the Victorian Department of Education is seeking a provider to further develop and deliver training to boost the capacity of early childhood educators to implement respectful relationships into their programs.
The $3.4 million initiative is part of the Andrews Labor government’s $21.8m Respectful Relationships education package for schools, inspired by the Royal Commission into Family Violence and set to be rolled out to schools over the next two years.
Challenging gender stereotypes appears to be the centrepiece of the preschool program. “Do you critically reflect on or intentionally observe gendered play?” trainers were instructed to ask participants. “Can you or have you worked with children to develop different storylines in their play? Have you intervened to change gendered play?”
According to the training kit, evidence suggested that strict adherence to gender stereotypes contributed to gender-based and family violence, of which most victims were women. “As rigid attitudes toward gender are shifted through respectful relationships education, evidence suggests that family violence will reduce,” it said.

The gender totalitarians are obviously alive and well in Victoria. There sure must be a lot of evil, sexist toddlers out there that we need to spend so much of taxpayers’ dollars on all this. Thankfully many are finding this to be utterly insane.

One Melbourne teacher said this: “I would rather be teaching them how to read, write and count. We really don’t need to crowd out the curriculum with this social engineering.” And education expert Dr Kevin Donnelly said, “My concern as an educator is, there is no real balance in the program. It is pushing a cultural left argument.”

Another Melbourne mother said the fairytales she reads to her children are not sexist: “My girls have always been interested in dolls and having tea parties. They climb trees, too, but they love their dolls. The boys have always just been more interested in trains.”

Others have rightly been quite alarmed by this as well:

Centre for Independent Studies senior research fellow Jennifer Buckingham described the program as “objectionable”. “Firstly, no evidence is provided to show that gender norms are the key contributor to domestic violence and that this can be fixed by encouraging kids to play with gender-neutral toys,” she said. “Secondly, it is pretty patronising to preschool teachers to think they have to be trained out of having unconscious gender biases.’’
Dr Buckingham said research had shown that behavioural issues in preschoolers, such as aggression, were often the result of poor oral language skills. Opposition spokeswoman for early childhood Georgie Crozier said there was “something truly Orwellian in auditing children’s toys and games in kindergartens”.

Columnist Rita Panahi also got stuck into the moonbeams pushing this lunacy:

The ideologues in the state government prefer to replace traditional fairytales with a new PC form of fiction; radical gender theory. The Safe Schools and the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships programs have wonderfully benevolent names and supposedly noble intentions but are nothing more than indoctrination by stealth.
At best they are simplistic gibberish that distract schools from fulfilling their primary objective — the traditional three Rs of writing, reading and arithmetic — and at worst they are destructive programs that seek to brainwash young minds with contentious theories.
There is nothing empowering about painting every boy as a potential predator suffering from toxic masculinity and every girl as a perpetual victim, nor is there any value in pretending that violence against women can be eliminated by merely tackling gender inequality, whether real or imagined. Victorian Labor’s social engineering obsession will impact upon every child.

She concludes:

It’s time we allowed teachers to concentrate on academic endeavour and left parenting to parents. You have to wonder about a government running a state in the midst of a crime wave with a looming energy crisis and falling academic standards being preoccupied with what toys children choose to play with or whether Hansel and Gretel are cisgendered, heteronormative tools of the patriarchy.

Yeah, I sure wonder about this sad joke of a government. And I also wonder about all the clueless wonders who not only once but twice voted these cretins in. Even more of a worry is the fact that we still have to wait until November 2018 for the next state election.

Will Victoria even exist after another 18 months of Dangerous Dan’s nutjob Marxist agenda?

  1. I have been looking on the VicGov website to see if Grants are available as I feel my input would assist, and be a damn sight cheaper than if they looked into it….but alas, it must be a job for those in the back pocket of the administration

Anyway, this would be my submission to them:

Please tell me the world has gone mad…..or this is just a dream.

The Victorian Govt is throwing resources at looking into Fairy Tales for gender bias.

You know, Victoria, the place where Sudanese crime gangs run wild.

Victoria, the place where crime has skyrocketed under the Andrews administration.

Victoria, the place where mums and dads are arming themselves in their own homes because the diminished police force is unable to protect them

Meanwhile, in the real world, people die, people go bankrupt, cancer rates soar, obesity rates are on the increase, the economy slowly implodes….but damn, fix up those fairytales, Danny!

Hopefully the Victorians will awaken from their slumber and vote these wankers out at the next election and send Roz Ward and the Safe Schools Program into the abyss

And here are a couple of nursery rhymes for the Victorian Govt wankers to look into

“Five little Snowmen”….obviously this would lead to women getting slapped around in subtropical climates as they use the term snow MEN (rife sexism). As there is no snow in subtropical climates, it is also a form of elitism. As in, we have snow, you dont, so therefore we are superior

“For Hes a Jolly Good Fellow”…..blatant sexism. This rhyme alone has led to 54 documented cases of domestic violence in the North Western areas of Victoria. THIS MUST BE STOPPED!

“Hey Diddle Diddle”….wow. The use of the word “diddle” is no doubt aimed at male genitalia, at the exclusion of female genitalia, thus causing a gender divide amongst the young. And what of non-gender specific children? How are they to be included?

“Im a little teapot”. Again, a blatant “outing” of male sexual organs, with the line “here is my spout”. Females and fluid gender snowflakes obviously on the outer with this disgraceful ditty
“Mary had a little Lamb”. This is one of the most disgraceful nursery rhymes ever with its veiled references to bestiality, and of course, white superiority. The lamb was not beige or black (sorry for using that blatant racist term), but was WHITE. Hidden references to male white supremacy, harking back to the day of slave traders. This should be expunged from all teachings to our prcious little snowflakes so they can grow up unsullied from these obviously sexist and racist rants that subliminally teach them that whites are superior and it is ok to bash your wife and have sex with animals

“Polly put the kettle on”……aaaaagggghhhhh. Why does Polly (obviously a female, not a parrot) have to put the kettle on? FFS, get off your arse and make your own cup of tea you lazy, misogynistic bastard!

FOR ONCE, I AGREE WTH ROZ WARD AND DANIEL ANDREWS……THESE THINGS ARE DESTROYING OUR YOUTH!

I have also been requested to look at some more of these DISGRACEFUL rhymes that our youngsters re being subjected to and I am having difficulty keeping the vomit down as I dig more and more into the violent and sexist world of the Nursery Rhyme

“Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross”. Wow. Just wow. Another blatant attempt at promoting rampant bestiality to a group of youngsters. No doubt hordes of pre-schoolers have now grown up and, have unfortunately become part of the bestiality porn industry based on this rhyme and, of course, the previously mentioned “Mary had a little lamb”. Written around 1725, which was the apparent date when bestiality became more and more prominent, and now, thanks to the Andrews Govt. in Victoria, we can try and put a stop to this

“Wynken, Blynken, and Nod”. A poorly veiled attempt to bring masturbation to the forefront of our little cherubs mind. Obviously, Wynken is an old English meaning of “to masturbate”, and “nod” is giving the affirmation that this type of behavior is acceptable. This must be stopped NOW

“Two Little Dickie Birds”. Confusing to the snowflake brigade as it discriminates about small penises, and gives them a feminine slant with the term “birds”. I feel this should be renamed “Two small -penised women” so as to relate more closely to trans and/or non gender specific hermaphrodites. We do not need this confusion amongst our young folk!

“Wise Men of Gotham”. Delete. Delete. Delete. This may cause derision of and bullying to all of the women of Gotham as they are obviously not wise.

Finally, and scarily, a very frightening and misogynistic slap in the face for all women…..”There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe”. The welfare state has obviously failed and left this poor woman to fend for both herself and her multitude of offspring. Imagine how frightening this is to our young folk when they realise, that without a male they will need to go and live with any children they have IN A PIECE OF FOOTWEAR! In winter….in a shoe….not even an Ugg boot!

Someone just asked me re the cow jumping over the moon….why not a bull?

Upon reflection, it appears the cow was attempting to jump over the moon because it was being inappropriately touched by the cat as in “Hey diddle, diddle, the cat and the fiddle”

The bull however, was not touched in such a way due to the misogynistic nature that abounded in those times.

Nowadays both the cow AND the bull would be free to indentify as to whether their sexuality was male or female and the cat would be left alone to fiddle as he/she/it pleased.

And at no time would the dog, the dish or the spoon be required for any input
I wont even bother with “Wee Willie Winky”

  2. Remember: none of this can happen without the co-operation of the teachers. Why don’t the teachers simply refuse to teach this nonsense? Why don’t they raise the issue at PTA meetings?

  3. Perhaps the fun police are worried a child may stumble upon The Emperor’s New Clothes story and find out the truth!

  4. So much for separation of state and religion with these cultural Marxists forcing their religious beliefs onto other people using public funding. There is not one shred of evidence that the claims made by these people are remotely correct and a huge amount to suggest the opposite is true. It is immoral people, such as homosexuals and adulterers etc., who are the ones promoted by these immoral religious beliefs and are precisely the ones who’s relationships exhibit high rates of domestic violence and breakdown. Yes rates of domestic violence are increasing and this is very much in line with the prevalence of these destructive views. The fact is you simply cannot live in a world based on unreality and lies without it having adverse effects, both on the individual and on society. You would think it was obvious but apparently not.

The question is what can be done to educate people correctly about having fact-based education instead of allowing “education” to be ideology-based indoctrination. In reality the fairy-tale is what people like Andrews believe and unfortunately, unlike the books which are obvious tales, they are apparently incapable of seeing these nonsense ideas as such. This is why I say we need a new fact-based Enlightenment to counter this new, irrationally-based, secularism.

  5. Bill, The Andrews Government are reinventing the wheel. The job has already been done in 1994 by James Finn Garner in his “Politically Correct Fairy Stories”. For example, Garner casts the woodcutter in Little Red Riding Hood not as a heroic saviour but a “sexist” and “speciest” interloper. The wolf, Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother finish up forming an alternative household together.
Unfortunately it is doubtful if our current screwball politicians would realize it is satire.
    Clive Skewes

  6. I think Rita Panahi sums it up when she says: ” It’s time we allowed teachers to concentrate on academic endeavour and left parenting to parents.” Yes, and Amen!

  7. And more of the insanity that is now becoming the norm. Personally I see a lot of the conflict in families now, as opposed to the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, being caused by this exact blurring of the gender rolls and the turf wars that comes from it. I grew up with very traditional values. Mum was the “heart”, caregiver and soft place for the family, while Dad was the breadwinner and protector. Each had their “job” and knew their roles. Boys were taught to be gentleman and protect the women in their lives (cause frankly biology makes them physically stronger and better equip for that job) while girls where taught how to nurture and take care of the family. Again a natural way God created a women. The sexes did not compete with each other but complimented each other. Then came the sexual revolution where women were told they could have it all – fulfill their inner “mothering side” while going out and showing men they will no longer being oppressed. Men got attacked and ridiculed for chivalry & being gentleman, by the feminists. Soon reality however showed women that once you make careers and goals your driving force, and where its all about ME, there was not a lot of time/desire left for being the heart, caregiver and soft place for the family. So children became part of the “oppression”, and abortion a right. Sex replaced long term relationships and having “stuff” the measure of success, neither of which bring long term happiness, security or love. And the result – a generation that is confused, depressed and struggling to find true happiness. Men and women are now constantly competing with each other and the frustrations of this striving boils over in families, leading to violence. And not just men towards women but women towards men. When you go to the Pacific Islands, as we regularly do, you see the old traditional families still at work and its amazing. The children have very little material stuff, but I have never seen better behaved kids. Divorce is not heard of and everyone considers everyone else – and the happiness index is off the scale. Time for us to stop and ask, “How is this sexual revolution and Marxist ideology REALLY working for us?”

  8. @ Ess Grubb
Thanks for your insightful comment. Men & boys, and women & girls, are different. At the Catholic school I went to for 11 years, boys and girls wore different coloured uniforms; even boys’ and girls’ shoes were different colours. Boys weren’t allowed earrings, and had to keep their hair short, above the shirt collar. A boy who pushed and shoved another boy got told off, but a boy who pushed and shoved a girl, got the cuts. Girls weren’t allowed to even kick the footy, because girls don’t play football. The school said it had a duty of care to protect girls from injuries which could affect potential motherhood.

  9. When I went to school, schooling was described as being “Not learning facts so much as learning the building blocks of learning … learning how to think and learn.”.
Now it appears to be a case of “Not learning facts so much as learning what you MUST think … learning what to think and say.” An utter tragedy and stifling to all curiosity, exploration and discovery.

  10. No doubt one factor that contributes to increasing family violence is the prevalence of cohabitation or de facto marriage, and yet rather than promote marriage and traditional families, the secular left social engineers are undermining them as fast as they can!
