Recommended Reading on Islam – Christian Authors

Some important books to be aware of:

In a recent article on Islam and terrorism I bemoaned the fact that the last published recommended reading list I had on these topics was from 2012. So it is lacking the many newer titles that have appeared since. It featured around 130 books, divided into Christian authors, followed by non-Christian authors.

Now there are nearly 200 books found on my own bibliography, so I will divide it up into two main articles – this one with Christian authors only (120 titles), and the next one with non-Christian writers only. A number of related topics are covered in these books: Islam, the Middle East, the Muslim world, terrorism, jihad, creeping sharia, and so on.

Because these are books authored by Christians, there are also volumes found here on how to evangelise and share the gospel with Muslims, the differences between Christianity and Islam, the differences between Jesus and Muhammad, and the like. With so many titles to choose from, perhaps I can recommend some of the following authors especially: Durie, Gabriel (both), Ibrahim (both), Power, Qureshi, Sookhdeo, and Spencer.
