Today in the West all things trans are being shoved down our throats every day, every hour. As but one indication of the trans tsunami in action, two decades ago I had nothing on my website discussing transgenderism. Sure, I had plenty of articles on the homosexual revolution tearing apart the West. But now I have well over 300 pieces devoted to trans activism.
If I wanted, I could just write about the trans behemoth every single day and never run out of material. But other matters are also worth discussing, so I try to spread topics out a bit. But with new developments daily appearing on the trans front, let me speak to just two of them.
The first one has to do with a new study from Finland that clearly demonstrates the massive harm young people are experiencing when they are being pushed into things like hormone treatments and puberty blockers. An article penned by journalist and women’s rights advocate Jo Bartosch is worth alerting you to and quoting from. Her piece begins this way:
Some ideas are so bonkers they ought never to be put to the test. Big-cat obsessives may believe they have a mystical affinity with lions, but no sane zookeeper would indulge them by opening the enclosure. And yet, it has taken researchers in Finland to confirm what anyone with a functioning brain already knew: telling children that their bodies are wrong does not improve their mental health. It makes it worse.
A recent paper published by Acta Paediatrica examined the outcomes for 2,083 patients referred to gender clinics between 1996 and 2019, and compared them with a large and carefully selected control group. The researchers found an elevated risk of ‘psychiatric morbidity, with hazard ratios approximately three times higher than female controls and five times higher than male controls’. This means that the girls and young women given testosterone and boys and young men given oestrogen suffered significant increases in distress after starting ‘gender-affirming’ treatment.
The patients had all been diagnosed with ‘gender dysphoria’, which meant they were already mentally unwell. But ‘gender-affirming’ treatment didn’t help them. ‘Severe psychiatric morbidity is common among gender-referred adolescents and appears to be more prevalent in those referred after the recent surge in referrals’, the study concluded. ‘Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment.’
This research should prompt some soul-searching among the professionals who pushed the claim that ‘gender-affirming care’ – including everything from hormone treatment to puberty blockers – saves lives and reduces mental suffering. And that includes the charities and lobby groups that told parents they faced a stark choice: sterilise your child with drugs or bury them.
Had a study found the reverse, you can bet trans-activist outfits like Mermaids, Stonewall and the Good Law Project would be crowing about it….

What the Finnish researchers have shown is hardly revelatory. It is the scientific equivalent of discovering that tiger enthusiasts are mauled when they step into the cage. But if stating the obvious is what it takes to bring this grotesque experiment to a halt, then so be it.
That activists refuse to shift under the weight of data is no surprise. Their authority, and often their sense of themselves as good parents, rests on their commitment to gender ideology. The Department for Health, however, is supposed to answer to evidence. It now faces a choice: abandon a failing model, or continue an unnecessary experiment on children to placate gender fanatics. The Chloe Cole Act
The second thing worth being aware of is a new federal bill in America that is meant to protect children from harmful and dangerous practices associated with “gender affirming care”. The actual bill number is HR 7651 and S. 2907, but it is referred to as The Chloe Cole Act. It is sponsored by Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Rep. Bob Onder (MO-3).
I have discussed the brave detransitioner Chloe Cole before. Just recently I wrote about the US Supreme Court decision on “conversion therapy” and quoted her as she discussed the minority opinion judge and the decision:
Ketanji Brown Jackson is such a stain on our country it’s embarrassing. She stands with made up “trans rights” instead of the rights in the constitution she swore to defend. There has never been a more obvious free speech issue on the Supreme Court….
“Conversion therapy” in its lawful definition includes talk therapy that doesn’t affirm a trans identity. This means that until this SCOTUS ruling, psychologists in blue states were forced to participate in the trans delusion. Summary
A bill to prohibit health care professionals, hospitals, or clinics from participating in the chemical or surgical mutilation of a child. The Act also provides a private right of action for children and their parents whose healthy body parts have been damaged by medical professionals practicing chemical and surgical mutilation. Damages include compensatory, non-economic (emotional), and punitive.
Goals
-Defend children against gender mutilation surgeries.
-Provide an avenue and seek justice for victims of gender mutilation surgery.
Analysis
Gender-mutilating procedures are consistently advertised as “reversible” or described as “simply pressing pause.” These narratives are false, and many detransitioners have tried and failed to attain retribution for the crimes done to them. Currently, there exists nothing at the Federal level to hold perpetrators accountable for the experiments they’ve conducted on children. And Mat Staver, head of the Liberty Counsel in America, just put out an action alert about this bill. Here is part of what he had to say:
Republicans hold a narrow majority in both the House and the Senate. That lead is not guaranteed to remain after the midterms this fall. The only way to ensure children are permanently protected from the trans industry is for Congress to pass the Chloe Cole Act NOW, while we still have a majority in the House and Senate….
Chloe Cole was put on puberty blockers at 12, testosterone at 13, and her breasts were sliced off at 15 years old under the direction of the transgender care industry, who deliberately misled her and her parents. Now age 21, Chloe has grown out of the gender dysphoria that was pushed on her by the LGBTQ. But her voice is now permanently lowered, and she will never be able to nurse her future children … if indeed she can even conceive, thanks to the chemical poisoning she endured.
Chloe isn’t alone. Thousands of girls across the country have suffered the same fate, including Prisha Mosley, Bunny Hein, Keira Bell, Charlie Even, and Helena Kerschner, just to name a few. Each of these girls are PERMANENTLY injured by the puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and devastating surgical procedures pushed on them by “trans-affirming” school counselors, therapists, and medical professionals.

This is a very important bill indeed. It is hoped that it is easily passed. Sadly, places like Australia are lagging well behind other countries in this regard. The Labor Government is 100% committed to pushing the trans agenda and letting women and children be damaged for life as a result.
Pray that the truth of the Finnish study (and others like it) get a wide hearing, and pray that bills like the Chloe one are passed in many Western jurisdictions.
