What We Must Know About the Spread of Islam

We dare not be ignorant about those seeking our destruction:

With horrific scenes coming out of northern Morocco right now with tens of thousands of Muslims invading Spanish territories there, it is vitally important that we ignore the fake news outlets of the legacy media and get back to reality. That means we desperately need to know something about Islam and its history.

We also need to know something about what Islam actually teaches concerning terror, jihad, war and violence. And we also need to know who our friends are as the West is being besieged on all sides by jihadism and Islamic expansionism.

All three of these matters will be briefly addressed here. But on such vitally important topics, more needs to be said. That is why those seeking many more details and facts about all this can see my sections on Islam and terrorism which feature 714 and 364 articles respectively.

History

For 1400 years Islam has spread by the edge of the sword. Conquest by means of warfare, enslavement and terror is the main MO (although clueless wonders in the West are aiding and abetting this by multiculturalism and open borders). So we must be aware of a basic timeline concerning Islamic history and expansion:

570 Birth of Muhammad in Mecca.
610 Begins receiving revelations and visions.
622 Departure to Medina (the hijra). Start of Muslim calendar (A.H. = after the hijra).
630 Mecca captured.
632 Muhammad dies, leaving no clear successor.
632-661 First four Caliphs rule in Medina.
633-638 Syria, Mesopotamia (Iraq) and Jerusalem fall.
642 Egypt falls.
651 Persia falls.
657 The Koran is officially written down and codified.
660-750 The Umayyad Dynasty rules in Damascus.
661 Muhammad’s nephew Ali is murdered, igniting Sunni-Shi’ite division.
661–750 Islam advances through North Africa (the Maghreb).
669 Morocco falls to Islam.
711 Islam crosses into the Iberian Peninsula (Spain).
715 Spain falls.
716 Lisbon falls.
732 The Battle of Tours. Charles Martel halts the Islamic advance into France – and Western Europe.
732 100 years of Islamic expansion. Islam rules from Spain to Persia.
750-1258 Golden age of Islam under Abbasid Dynasty which rules in Baghdad.
909-1171 The Fatimid Dynasty in Egypt.
1095-1270 Christian crusades to the Holy Land.
1291 Muslims expel Christians from Holy Land.
1380-1918 Ottoman Empire.
1453 Muslims (Ottoman Turks) capture Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Empire.
1492 The last Muslim ruler of Granada surrenders to Ferdinand and Isabella, ending Islamic political rule in Spain.
1683 The Battle of Vienna defeats the Ottoman army – the Turkish attack on Vienna is repulsed.
1917 Allenby enters Jerusalem. Defeat of the Ottoman Turks and the end of the Ottoman Empire.
1922 The caliphate abolished by Ataturk.
1948 Creation of Israel.
1979 Iranian revolution.
1991 Gulf war.
2001 September 11 Twin towers attack (nearly 3000 dead).
2002 October 12 Bali bombings (over 200 dead).
2004 March 11 Madrid train bombings (nearly 200 dead).
2005 July 7 London underground bombings (over 50 dead).
2008 November 27-29 Mumbai massacre (nearly 200 dead).

We can keep adding to this, but you get the picture.

Islamic commands to spread throughout the world via violence and bloodshed

Here is a basic truth that we must not forget. If a Christian goes around murdering innocents and spreading terror, he does not have the warrant to do so, either from the life of Christ or the New Testament. But if a Muslim does this, he has the full warrant of the life of Muhammad and the plain teachings of Islamic writings.

In that piece I offered just some of the texts found in the Koran which command violence, terror and bloodshed against the infidel:

And of course so much more can be shared from the hadith and the sira. The point is this: when you find Muslims going around terrorising and killing others in the name of Allah, they have full licence to do so from their own holy texts – and from their “perfect” example, Muhammad.

Awareness of the battle we are in

Anyone involved in any sort of warfare must know a few things: that they are in a war; who the enemy is; what their intentions are; and how they might be resisted or defeated. For example, we must know things like this: As of today, Islamic terrorists have carried out more than 49,773 deadly terror attacks since September 11, 2001.

That is 1991 attacks a year, or more than five every single day. Being unaware or naïve about this is simply going to guarantee that more such attacks take place – increasingly on Western soil. When will we wake up to the danger we are in?
