Islam, the Adhan, and Submission

Muslim prayer broadcasts in the West:

Anyone who has been in an Islamic country will know about the call to prayer – the adhan – which is heard five times a day. It is a reminder for Muslims to pray, and it is usually broadcast from the minaret of a mosque. We expect such things in Muslim nations.

But of late we are finding a huge increase in the number of mosques, and thus the adhan, all throughout the West. Whether it is London or Paris or even places like Houston, Texas, mosques are springing up everywhere, for the simple reason that Western leaders – be they Biden or Starmer or Macron or Sanchez – have been inviting them in by the millions.

Albanese and Labor have done the same thing in Australia, letting in millions of immigrants, so often from Islamic nations. Having a large and growing block of Islamic voters in places like western Sydney helps guarantee more votes for Labor. It is expected that the current census will tell us that there are now over a million Muslims here.

Some months ago I discussed how mosques in Sydney are pushing to have these very loud and blaring broadcasts. I mentioned one news report:

Australia’s largest mosque could begin broadcasting the Muslim call to prayer from loudspeakers every week under a proposal lodged with a Sydney council. Lakemba Mosque, also known as the Masjid Ali Bin Abi Talib, has proposed to affix four loudspeakers to its minaret in a new bid to the Canterbury-Bankstown Council in Sydney’s west. It would be the first mosque in Sydney to broadcast the call to prayer – known in Arabic as the adhan – regularly throughout the year. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14582177/lakemba-mosque-prayer-new-plan.html  

Just two weeks ago a heated debate took place about this proposal at a Canterbury-Bankstown Council meeting. So it is still being pushed, and with so many woke leaders and Labor politicians bending over backwards to woo Muslim voters, we can expect that soon enough we will have the adhan blaring out in Sydney and elsewhere.

It’s not what you think

Lest some folks think this is no big deal, and it is the same as church bells ringing, they better think again. And they better start learning something about Islam. The term itself means “submission”. Historically Islam has always spread by the edge of the sword.

But of late it is spreading in the West because of our “suicidal empathy” to use Gad Saad’s term. And classic Islamic teachings remain in place. Whenever Muslims become numerous enough, the way they treat the kaffir (infidel) is threefold: Either they convert, are killed, or become a dhimmi (second-class citizen) and pay a jizya (special tax).

We do not often hear this coming from the lips of Muslim leaders in the West today, because of taqiyya (the use of deception in Islam). But now and then one of them actually spills the beans on this. A case in point just occurred concerning the Lakemba mosque situation.

Conservative broadcaster Andrew Bolt had two guests on to discuss these proposed prayer broadcasts. As this video shows, a Muslim from Sydney was featured. The Secretary and spokesperson for the Lebanese Muslim Association Gamel Kheir tried to say that the submission of infidels was a thing of the past. But he spoke about what Muhammad would do when he went to another territory, and said this:

Traditionally what would happen was there would be the people of that city or town or village or whoever it may be, would be given three options. The call to prayer which means they’ve accepted the Islamic faith because they’d say the call to prayer and they would reply the call to prayer. So it’s not a call to prayer saying ‘we’ve dominated, these are ours now’.

 

So the call to prayer is exactly the opposite of the analogy that you’ve given. It’s not that we’ve conquered. It’s to say ‘we are here’. If you return the call to prayer back to us, then that’s an assumption on our behalf that you’ve accepted the faith and then we leave you alone. Ah yes, the truth comes out. Just like the old mafia protection racket. Either submit or pay the jizya – or worse. Sounds like submission to me. Sounds like domination to me. This is how Islam has always operated, whether in the deserts of Arabia or the streets of Sydney.

I have written about all this in some detail. In one piece I mentioned an important book by a former Muslim, Sam Solomon and E Al Maqdisi: Modern Day Trojan Horse: The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration. I said this:

The strategy, as detailed by the authors, is quite clear: set up a beachhead in a non-Muslim nation, consolidate your gains, push for a separate and distinct culture, and work for full rights in terms of separate law systems, finance systems, dietary systems, and so on.

 

The aim is not to fit in and embrace the values and beliefs of the host culture. The aim is to take over the nation, and foist Islamic values and beliefs on the kaffir (infidel) instead. It is about the establishment of a universal caliphate, and the spread of sharia law throughout the globe.

 

And the role of immigration is quite crucial here, going all the way back to Muhammad himself. Recall that the migration (Hijra) of Muhammad from Mecca to Medina in 622 is the most important event in the Muslim calendar. This initiated the spread of Islam by sword and conquest.

So we have Muhammad telling us this. Former Muslims are telling us this. Muslim leaders like Gamel Kheir are telling us this. They all tell us this with one voice, so we better start listening to them. The call to prayer is a call for submission. It is about the supremacy of Islam over everything and everyone else. Recall that the adhan, which is prayed in Arabic, goes like this:

Allah is greater (Allahu akbar); intoned four times.
I testify that there is no God but Allah (Ashhadu anna la ila ill Allah); intoned twice.
I testify that Mohammed is Allah’s Prophet (Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah); intoned twice.
Come to prayer (Hayya alas salah); intoned twice.
Come to security/salvation (Hayya alal falah); intoned twice.
Allah is greater (Allahu akbar); intoned twice.
There is no God but Allah (La ilah ill Allah); intoned once.

The mosque is as much a military centre as anything else. As one authority I quoted in my previous article put it:

A mosque is a symbol of this ultimate authority and serves the function of organizing every aspect of life in a Muslim community. Mosques are modeled after the first mosque established by Mohammed in Medina, which was a seat of government, a command center, a court, a school, and a military training center and depot for arms. Mosque leaders today issue religious decrees, enforce Islamic doctrine, monitor conduct, provide training, punish transgressions, and command actions, including the requirement to conduct jihad.

And the call to prayer is all about telling us infidels to surrender – or else. Church bells ringing have absolutely nothing to do with anything like this. They do not even contain words. They simply let people know about the worship of God – not taking over ‘enemy’ territory.

So before you rush to support the broadcasting of the adhan in Sydney or anywhere else in the West, you better get wise as to what is actually going on.
