September 11, 25 Years On

We were not supposed to forget:

On September 11, 2001 nearly 3000 people were killed in the jihadist terror attacks in the US. It was a wakeup call for America and the West – or at least it should have been. But it was all so quickly forgotten. Indeed, a recent piece in the New York Post is as shocking as it is revealing:

Poll: College kids don’t know who attacked the US or why, as lefty lessons blame America for 9/11.

Only two US states legally require that 9/11 be taught in public schools — and the void is being filled with twisted lefty lessons blaming America, downplaying Islamic terrorism and portraying Islamophobia as the real tragedy. The hijacked history of America’s darkest day has created a lost generation. According to one shocking new study, two-thirds of American Middle East studies professors say college kids cannot identify who attacked the US on Sept. 11, 2001, or why. https://nypost.com/2026/09/05/us-news/schools-flooded-with-9-11-retellings-that-focus-on-islamophobia/

So that might explain why we now have a socialist Muslim mayor of NYC! It is so mindboggling. How could New Yorkers have forgotten so quickly? And just recently he gave a ceremonial 9/11 executive order pen to his chief counsel, who was an al Qaeda lawyer! Said Avery Daye:

The man Mamdani handed his pen to is Ramzi Kassem, his chief counsel, a former Biden White House immigration adviser, and the lawyer who spent years defending Ahmed al-Darbi, the al-Qaeda operative who bombed the French oil tanker MV Limburg. Al-Darbi’s sister was married to Khalid al-Mihdhar, one of the hijackers who flew a plane into the Pentagon on 9/11. That’s who got the ceremonial 9/11 pen.

And Brigitte Gabriel was absolutely right to say this:

DISGUSTING!! This was not a mistake. It was a slap in the face of the dead. Five days before the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the mayor of New York signs an order “honoring” the murdered and then hands the ceremonial pen to a man who once defended an al-Qaeda terrorist tied to a Pentagon hijacker. I survived Islamic terror as a child. I know what contempt for the dead looks like. It looks like this. If this doesn’t make you angry, you weren’t paying attention the first time.

Or as Eyal Yakoby wrote:

It has nothing to do with Zohran being Muslim, it has to do with:

– Zohran campaigning with Imam Siraj Wahhaj — an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing

– Zohran rapping about his love for the Holy Land Five

– Zohran’s inability to condemn Hamas – Being funded by CAIR

– Zohran’s intern Arzoo Malik who called for a Holy War through Jihad

– Zohran’s meeting with the woman who is responsible for making being gay punishable by death in Uganda

– Zohran claiming that it is an “illusion” that Muslims can become New Yorkers and settle into the city

– Zohran defending Anwar al-Awlaki — the terrorist cleric linked to 9/11, Fort Hood, the Underwear Bomber, and whose sermons inspired the Boston Marathon bombing

– Zohran campaigning with Hasan Piker who said that “America deserved 9/11”

– Zohran’s imam ally Siraj Wahhaj who referred to Homosexuals as a “Disease of this society”

The words of Dr. Maalouf are also worth carefully listening to:

I used to think Zohran Mamdani was a ‘cultural Muslim’ who didn’t really care much about religion, and was just a third-worldist using his Islamic background for identity politics and votes. I was wrong. It is becoming increasingly more obvious by the day that he’s actually an extremely radicalized Shia Muslim practicing taqiyya all along. His father literally wrote a book justifying Islamic suicide bombings, and called America the source of Nazism and ‘settler-colonialism’ all over the world. That’s the environment he was brought up in, glorifying terrorism and hating America. Remember a couple months ago when relatives of Iranian regime officials were arrested in the US? They were all pretending to live secular lives, the women even wore provocative clothing. They were all practicing taqiyya. While all Islamic sects allow you to lie in order to advance Islam, this is even stronger in Shia Islam. You can live a completely different life. Well, I believe this is the same situation. Zohran Mamdani is not only a Muslim, he is a Twelver Shia Muslim. He belongs to the exact same sect as the Islamic regime in Iran, Hezbollah, and Houthis. His ‘progressive’ persona is all an act. The only thing he cares about is advancing Islam. This is why he pretends to care about the LGBT and other useful idiots. Taqiyya allows him to do that. Just like during the Islamic revolution in Iran, when the Muslims and leftists were allies, and we all know how that ended for the leftists when the Muslims got to power. I now fully believe he was groomed from a young age by his multimillionaire American-hating family to become a politician and help destroy America from within. This man is a monster.

And don’t forget NY Governor Kathy Hochul who happily wore a head covering as she spoke to Muslims in late August. Good grief. One meme shows 2 pics of Hochel: on the left with her hijab on, and on the right showing her speaking at a ‘Protecting LGBTQ+ New Yorkers’. It says this: “Just so we’re all clear…the Kathy Hochul on the left wants to throw the Kathy Hochul on the right off a building.”

And Gina Milan reminds us of this: “In January 2026, Kathy Hochul ordered New York landmarks, including One World Trade Center, to be lit green for the state’s first Muslim American Heritage Month. Think about that for a second. The site where thousands of Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists was illuminated to celebrate Muslim heritage. Truly so gross.”

As Gad Saad put it:

Dear Gov Kathy Hochul, you did not show respect because respect is a two-way street. You are abiding to Muslim sensibilities in the US, and you must abide to Muslim sensibilities in Islamic societies. Hence, in all instances, it is incumbent for you to show respect without there ever being an onus for Muslims to alter their behaviours to be congruent with the host nations. You are a clueless dhimmi. You are exhibiting submission. Hundreds of millions of women are forced to wear these freedom veils in societies that are astoundingly patriarchal. Your strong feminism evaporates when in the presence of Muslim men.

And there are so many others. As Trump just said in his Dallas midterm speech:

In Michigan, the Democrat nominee is Abdul El-Sayed who brags about the fact that he wants to pack the Supreme Court with 23 far left lunatics, justices. His sister celebrated the terrorist slaughter of babies on October 7th. She thought it was a great thing. His sister thought it was a great day. His mother worked for an organization that gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to people that follow Osama bin Laden. And he campaigns with a Marxist agitator who says that America deserved 9/11. We deserve to have 3000 people killed. Two massive structures brought to the ground, we deserved it, right? Yet the Democrats want to make this extremist a US senator.

Jumpers

We have completely forgotten what happened 25 years ago. The diabolical shock and horror of that day has been replaced by suicidal empathy. So let me remind you of what this day was really like. Thirteen years ago in a piece commenting on 9/11, I discussed the ‘jumpers’. I said this:

Some of the most unforgettable images of 9/11 are of the ‘jumpers’ – those who were forced to leap out of the burning WTC to their death far below.

Four years ago an important article on this appeared in Esquire magazine. “The Falling Man” by Tom Junod discusses one of these jumpers. He writes: “Some people who look at the picture see stoicism, willpower, a portrait of resignation; others see something else – something discordant and therefore terrible: freedom. There is something almost rebellious in the man’s posture, as though once faced with the inevitability of death, he decided to get on with it; as though he were a missile, a spear, bent on attaining his own end.

“He is, fifteen seconds past 9:41 a.m. EST, the moment the picture is taken, in the clutches of pure physics, accelerating at a rate of thirty-two feet per second squared. He will soon be traveling at upwards of 150 miles per hour, and he is upside down. In the picture, he is frozen; in his life outside the frame, he drops and keeps dropping until he disappears.”

He continues: “They began jumping not long after the first plane hit the North Tower, not long after the fire started. They kept jumping until the tower fell. They jumped through windows already broken and then, later, through windows they broke themselves. They jumped to escape the smoke and the fire; they jumped when the ceilings fell and the floors collapsed; they jumped just to breathe once more before they died.

“They jumped continually, from all four sides of the building, and from all floors above and around the building’s fatal wound. They jumped from the offices of Marsh & McLennan, the insurance company; from the offices of Cantor Fitzgerald, the bond-trading company; from Windows on the World, the restaurant on the 106th and 107th floors – the top.

“For more than an hour and a half, they streamed from the building, one after another, consecutively rather than en masse, as if each individual required the sight of another individual jumping before mustering the courage to jump himself or herself. One photograph, taken at a distance, shows people jumping in perfect sequence, like parachutists, forming an arc composed of three plummeting people, evenly spaced.

“Indeed, there were reports that some tried parachuting, before the force generated by their fall ripped the drapes, the tablecloths, the desperately gathered fabric, from their hands. They were all, obviously, very much alive on their way down, and their way down lasted an approximate count of ten seconds. They were all, obviously, not just killed when they landed but destroyed, in body though not, one prays, in soul.

“One hit a fireman on the ground and killed him; the fireman’s body was anointed by Father Mychal Judge, whose own death, shortly thereafter, was embraced as an example of martyrdom after the photograph — the redemptive tableau – of firefighters carrying his body from the rubble made its way around the world.”

Let these moving words, and the haunting image which accompanies the article, be forever burned onto your hearts and minds. This is why we must never forget. https://billmuehlenberg.com/2013/09/11/why-we-must-never-forget/

Brigitte Gabriel describes what it was like on the ground: “That sound is from the jumpers trapped above the 91st floor with nowhere to go. Over 200 people jumped to escape 2,000° heat, smoke, and carnage. The firefighters on the ground knew instantly what they were hearing. Not debris. People. Hope, falling.”

But just reading about it is not sufficient. Please see this short video about the jumpers as their falls come to an end: https://x.com/ACTBrigitte/status/2095491767902560325/video/1

We were not supposed to forget. But we sure as heck did.

  1. I was in Atlanta in 2019 in a nice hotel and decided to see what documentaries HBO had on. I remember seeing one that looked like it was putting muslims in a positive light. I got about 10 minutes into it before in my fury I had to turn it off. It was parents telling their children who weren’t alive on 9/11 how muslims were really a peaceful people and just misunderstood by Americans. You are right. Children today are falsely told that islam is a religion of peace. No, they aren’t. Besides the satanic deceptions in islam, you decide you don’t want to be a Christian or a Jew anymore and you are prayed for. You decide you won’t become a muslim or turn away from it and you will be killed by your own parents. This is all part of the plan to take down America from within and build a global caliphate. Joel Rosenberg has also written extensively on the subject as well as the late, truthteller, Phillip Haney.
