Paranoid haters want folks like us arrested – and worse:
I mentioned the other day that increasingly I am getting hate mail. To which you might reply: ‘So what’s new about that? You always get hate mail!’ Yes, true, but this is a new sort of hate mail. For daring to ask questions, for thinking independently, and for not buying all the narratives about the virus, I am getting more and more folks attacking me and actually saying they hope I die.
They think people like you and me are somehow super-spreaders of the Rona because we simply question things and look to a wider range of medical and scientific opinions on the virus. For having the audacity to do that, these haters actually are saying they hope I get COVID and die. And right on cue, another person just sent in a comment to that article saying that I should be charged with manslaughter! I kid you not. According to her, because I am not taking enough preventative steps (how exactly does she know?), I am sure to spread the virus, and therefore I should be arrested and charged with murder! The person did not go on to say if I should face the death penalty for this or just life imprisonment!
The only thing I cannot clearly determine about this person is which is worse: her utter hatred and contempt of those who dare to think differently than her, or her irrational and hysterical fear and panic. Either one will cause people to become little fascists. And taken together, you have some pretty potent fascism going on indeed.
Needless to say, I do not suffer fools – or trolls, or haters, or nutjobs – gladly, so I of course binned her obnoxious comment as soon as it came in. But one can think of various questions to ask a person such as this – that is, if they were able to actually think, and not just emote.
The first question that arises is this: Just what do you consider to be adequate ‘preventative’ measures? Is it your preference that I get the jabs, and the booster jabs, and a never-ending series of jabs? Should I wear just one mask inside and outside, or should two or three be required? Should I never leave my home, just to be safe?
Should I renounce all independent thought, and just get down on my knees and lick the boots of our elites and the unelected and unaccountable chief health officers, regardless of how often they change their tune and disagree with each other? Should I swear in an oath, ‘The State is my shepherd, I shall not want’?
The way some of these fearmongers are carrying on, I suspect that even those measures will not satisfy them. They will want us locked down forever. They will want us to be docile sheep forever. They will want us to gladly lose our freedoms and our jobs, our businesses, and our livelihoods, as long as it ‘keeps grandma safe’.
Of course almost all of these haters have nothing to lose with lockdown mania. Most are public servants with cushy taxpayer-funded salaries for life. And they can ‘work’ from home (and I use the word ‘work’ advisedly here). But so many of us peons cannot work from home, and every new day of lockdown means even more businesses lost, careers ended, and suicides and mental health problems spinning out of control. But hey, what’s a few lives if we can keep grandma safe and obtain zero cases?
Those who know anything about history at all are now shuddering at what they are seeing. As I have said so often before, one simply needs to know a bit about Germany in the 30s to realise that we have is a real bad case of déjà vu going on here. What I wrote in my earlier article is worth sharing again here:
I and others have often sought to remind folks what was happening in Germany in the 1930s. One recent piece also deals with this. His title says it all: “This Is 1938: First, They Came for the Unvaccinated.” Here is part of what he wrote:
1938 was not the Holocaust. It was the pre-Holocaust. It was the time before the nightmare, when the foundation was being laid to destroy the freedom, free speech, businesses and lives of millions of Jews. Everything happening today to the American people … to the U.S. Constitution … to freedom … and particularly to unvaccinated Americans reminds me of 1938. This is only the beginning. It gets much worse from here.
First, “the papers.” Vaccine mandates and vaccine passports are just like 1938, when the Gestapo demanded papers from every German. Republicans asked for “papers” from migrants who had broken into our country. Criminals. Democrats said, “No, that’s racism.” Republicans asked for “papers” once every two years for federal elections, to prove you have a right to vote. Democrats said, “No, that’s racism.”
Now Democrats want American citizens, not illegal aliens, not criminals, but patriots born in this country, to produce papers 24/7. We’ll need papers to enter restaurants, bars, nightclubs, concerts, casinos, conventions and hotels and to board a train, plane or bus. We’ll need papers to enter a supermarket, or we’ll starve to death. All for the crime of being unvaccinated….
By the way, this isn’t about vaccines. If you want the vaccine, take it. I’d never stop you. I’d never limit your freedom, your choice. This is about vaccine mandates — forcibly injecting Americans who don’t want it. That’s 1938. But there’s much more in common with 1938. Mask mandates. If you’re scared, wear them. I’m not scared. I don’t want to wear them. Mandates are about forcing individuals to lose their freedom, choice, individuality and human rights. That’s 1938.
Lockdowns are a match with the Warsaw Ghetto. Jews were locked down. Jews couldn’t work. Jews couldn’t travel. Jewish businesses were labeled “nonessential.” If government can force us to close our businesses, to kill our jobs, to decide who is nonessential, then this is 1938. Stars on clothing. It’s coming. The vaccinated get into restaurants, bars, concerts, supermarkets, planes and trains. They keep their jobs. The rest of us are marked as “subhuman” for life. That’s the star. Yes, it really does seem that we are in Germany in the 30s right now. The many parallels are just too ominous. We are seeing history repeat itself right before our very eyes. But regardless of all the hate and death-wishes, I will keep right on sounding the alarm about all this until I am finally prevented from doing so.

Also just on cue, earlier today I posted a piece about God’s grace and how I have been a Christian for a half a century now. Sho ‘nuf, the haters have already come out in force, dumping on me, saying I am not a Christian, I am stupid, I am part of QAnon, etc. Yes, feel the love! Hmm, if I could only be as accepting, inclusive and tolerant as they are!
