Late-Term Baby Killing

George Orwell once said, “We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.” We are living in such an age of lies and deception, that truth has to be proclaimed, and proclaimed, and proclaimed again.

Indeed, some truths need to be shouted from the rooftops. One such truth is what happens in an abortion – the destruction of a young member of the human race. Not only should everyone know what happens at the abortion mills, but there is no excuse for ignorance about an especially barbaric and hideous abortion method: late-term abortion.

I have written this up on numerous occasions, but it seems many people are not aware of what happens here, or simply do not want to know. Can I respectfully say to the latter group of people, in a similar manner many Germans simply did not want to know what was taking place in those nearby compounds where chimneys were bellowing out putrid smoke night and day back in the 1940s.

No society that wants to call itself civilised can dare to ignore what was going on during the Holocaust, and so too no humane society can keep its head in the sand regarding abortion. Of course the abortion industry and its MSM supporters want to keep their dark dirty little secrets all to themselves.

Indeed, when was the last time you have ever seen the MSM describing, illustrating or showing what takes place in a late-term abortion? I refer especially to the Dilation and Extraction (D&X) abortion method, also known as the partial-birth method. A wall of silence has gone up concerning this, and it is up to us and the alternative media to get the truth out.

The reason I raise this issue again is because of several recent news items. You will recall the controversy which has erupted over a Melbourne abortion clinic – which also does late-term abortions – because at least 30 women have contracted Hepatitis C while there.

It seems that when evil abounds, evil is compounded. The other story appeared in today’s press with this headline: “Healthy babies aborted”. The article begins with these words: “Almost one late-term abortion is performed in Victoria every day, and 54 babies survived the procedure to die post-natally, according to figures released by the State Government. Of the 345 late-term abortions in 2007 – the highest number on record – 164 were performed at a Melbourne clinic on women with healthy foetuses who said they were suffering psychological or social problems.

“Many of the women who were granted late term abortions for ‘psycho-social’ reasons travel from overseas or interstate to have the procedure done at the clinic, one of the few facilities in the country willing to perform late-term abortions. Two of the terminations of healthy foetuses were older than 28 weeks’ gestation, but the majority were performed on women who were about six months’ pregnant.”

In a moment I will describe to you this particularly gruesome abortion technique. But consider this next statement from the article: “The medical world is divided over the practice of allowing women to undergo late-term abortions for psycho-social reasons”.

One might as well say, ‘The medical world is divided over the practice of allowing Jews and others to be sent to the gas chambers for psycho-social reasons’. There should be no division in the medical community over this. There should be complete unanimity.

That we even have to debate such matters shows how far into the cesspool we have sunk as a society. Fortunately a few voices of sanity have been heard in this debate. For example, Dr David van Gend is quoted as follows, “These are babies that are older than some of the children who are born premature and who will thrive. There are literally thousands of upstanding Victorians who they could be adopted out to, but they’re being aborted”.

Dr Mathew Piercey rightly noted that these deaths raised important ethical issues for medical practitioners: “If there is a chance of life then resuscitation facilities should be there. People could be in serious breach of their duties”.

Now many people will still not know what all the fuss is about. So let me here repeat what I have written elsewhere about the D&X abortion method: “The abortionist pulls the baby out with a forceps. He then delivers the baby’s body feet first, leaving the head inside. Scissors are then inserted into the base of the skull of the live baby and spread to enlarge the hole. The brains are then sucked out with a suction catheter.

“The difference between the D & X procedure and homicide is about three inches. If the head had also been taken out of the mother, the doctor would have a legal requirement to do all he can to save the child. But by leaving the head in, he can perform his ‘family planning’ technique without fear of consequence.”

If that sounds too clinical and remote, let me share the story of one nurse who helped perform this act of savagery, but had to pull out altogether. This is part of her moving story: “I was present for three of these partial-birth procedures. It is the first one that I will describe to you in detail.

“The mother was six months pregnant (26 1/2 weeks). A doctor told her that the baby had Down Syndrome and she decided to have an abortion. She came in the first two days to have the laminaria inserted and changed, and she cried the whole time. On the third day she came in to receive the partial-birth procedure.

“Dr. Haskell brought the ultrasound in and hooked it up so that he could see the baby. On the ultrasound screen, I could see the heart beating. As Dr. Haskell watched the baby on the ultrasound screen, the baby’s heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen.

“Dr. Haskell went in with forceps and grabbed the baby’s legs and pulled them down into the birth canal. Then he delivered the baby’s body and the arms – everything but the head. The doctor kept the baby’s head just inside the uterus.

“The baby’s little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head, and the baby’s arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall.

“The doctor opened up the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening and sucked the baby’s brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I was really completely unprepared for what I was seeing. I almost threw up as I watched the doctor do these things….

“Dr. Haskell delivered the baby’s head. He cut the umbilical cord and delivered the placenta. He threw that baby in a pan, along with the placenta and the instruments he’d used. I saw the baby move in the pan. I asked another nurse and she said it was just ‘reflexes’.

“I have been a nurse for a long time and I have seen a lot of death – people maimed in auto accidents, gunshot wounds, you name it. I have seen surgical procedures of every sort. But in all my professional years, I had never witnessed anything like this.

“The woman wanted to see her baby, so they cleaned up the baby and put it in a blanket and handed the baby to her. She cried the whole time, and she kept saying, ‘I’m so sorry, please forgive me!’ She screamed and prayed to God to forgive her, and for that baby to forgive her, and she held him and rocked him, and told him that she loved him.

“I was crying too. That baby boy had the most perfect angelic face I have ever seen. And I couldn’t take it. After all the years I’ve been a nurse, I lost it. I excused myself and I ran to the bathroom … I cried and I prayed.”

If that does not spur you to action, then my friend you are no longer alive. Finally, to see (in simple sketches) what actually takes place, please see this site: http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/pba/PBA_Images/PBA_Images_Heathers_Place.htm

This “procedure” is happening right here, right now in Melbourne and all over the world. We call it a ‘woman’s right to choose’. And in Germany 70 years ago they called it “cleaning up the Jewish question” and “the final solution”.  When you murder language, through euphemisms and the like, you can get away with murder – literally; even the murder of unborn babies.
