The Never Ending Story (of Tolerance)

Just yesterday I offered three cases dating from September 10 of how the militants are destroying our freedoms – all in the name of tolerance and diversity. Well, here it is a mere 24 hours later, and now I have three more cases, dating from September 11.

As I keep saying, such attacks on freedom, faith and family are now occurring by the hour. A website like this can barely keep up with all the latest cases. Every single day in the Western world we find more horrific cases of Christians and those who believe marriage is between a man and a woman losing their jobs, being fined, or even jailed.

When the activists claim that nothing will change when special rights are given to homosexuals, including marriage and adoption rights, they are lying through their teeth. They know full well that everything will change – and it sure is. Every day we see more ugly examples of how the militants are destroying freedom and democracy while setting up their pink totalitarianism.

So here then are three more clear examples of the “tolerance brigade” at work. Canada is often leading the way in this area, so our first example comes from there: “A Church of Christ minister who has been responsible for civic marriage ceremonies at Cambridge city hall for the past 15 years is facing the axe if she doesn’t agree to perform same-sex ‘marriages.’

“Rev. Jay Brown told LifeSiteNews that city council voted 8 to 1 Monday night on a motion, brought forward by Councillor Donna Reid, that Brown be forced to officiate at homosexual ‘marriages’ or they would issue a ‘request for proposal’ to find a replacement.

“Rev. Brown explained that as a minister of the Church of Christ she must follow the precepts of her church, which does not allow homosexual ‘marriage,’ but that she was always ready to accommodate same-sex couples by recommending a designated minister who would be happy to perform the ceremony.

“‘I have nothing against gay people, in fact a member of my family is gay,’ Brown said in an interview with LifeSiteNews, ‘but I represent my church, which does not allow same-sex marriage. My church won’t allow me to. I haven’t had to make that decision,” she said, adding that in the years since homosexual ‘marriage’ was legalized in Canada she has been asked only a few times to perform same-sex ‘marriages’.”

So nothing’s gonna change huh? My next example comes from the US: “The national agency which grants accreditation to social work courses is questioning Franciscan University of Steubenville over a course which lists homosexuality as a deviant behavior.  Attention was drawn to the course by a group of Franciscan University alumni, identifying themselves as ‘Franciscan Gay Alumni & Allies’, who are demanding publicly that the university ‘revise its course descriptions and to stop contributing the culture of hate and ignorance.’

“The course is called ‘Deviant Behavior’ and the part of the course description in question states, ‘The behaviors that are primarily examined are murder, rape, robbery, prostitution, homosexuality, mental illness, and drug use.’

“In the press release issued by ‘Franciscan Gay Alumni & Allies’ and published by the Daily Kos, further accusations and demands are made, based solely on the ‘Deviant Behavior’ course description. Among them are the group’s accusation that students are ‘being taught ideological falsehoods in the classroom,’ and that the classification of homosexuality as a deviant behavior ‘feed(s) cultural biases and promote hatred for lesbian and gay individuals.’ The group goes on to make a broad demand that the university ‘revise its course descriptions,’ ‘stop contributing the culture of hate and ignorance,’ and ‘conduct an audit of its entire curriculum and remove any information being taught on this subject that is outdated and not substantiated by sound scientific fact’.”

Yep, more tolerance and diversity, with the state coming along demanding that a religious school must act and think only in accord with the dictates of political correctness and the homosexual agenda. And you used to think that universities were a place of openness and diversity!

The third example is another one of those “we told you so” cases. We have long warned that when marriage is redefined out of existence by the homosexual activists, then anything goes. And that sure is the case. Incest is next on the table: “hey, don’t discriminate against my love!”

Michael Brown explains: “If all human beings should have the right to marry (or simply be with) the one they love, as proponents of same-sex marriage constantly tell us, then why shouldn’t adult, incestuous couples enjoy that same ‘right’? Hollywood director Nick Cassavetes is the latest to say, ‘Why not?’, and I for one am not in the least bit surprised. Simply stated, with the public endorsement of same-sex relationships, the endorsement (or at least acceptance) of consensual, adult, incestuous relationships is the next step.”

He goes on to list a number of examples of how our elites and academics are pushing for incest rights. He then concludes: “Perhaps they could say, ‘My genes made me do it!’ In light of the above, which could be multiplied almost ad infinitum (and ad nauseam), Nick Cassavetes’ comments shouldn’t be so shocking: ‘I’m not saying this is an absolute but in a way, if you’re not having kids – who gives a d-mn? Love who you want. Isn’t that what we say? Gay marriage – love who you want? If it’s your brother or sister it’s super-weird, but if you look at it, you’re not hurting anybody except every single person who freaks out because you’re in love with one another.’ Yes, isn’t that what ‘we say’ these days?

“Promoting his new movie ‘Yellow,’ which features an adult incestuous relationship, he said, ‘We had heard a few stories where brothers and sisters were completely, absolutely in love with one another. You know what? This whole movie is about judgment, and lack of it, and doing what you want.’ Exactly. Who are you to judge?

“A gay man and his partner once asked me, ‘But how can you say our relationship is wrong? We’re not hurting anyone and there is no victim.’ I asked them, ‘Would you approve of two adult gay brothers having a relationship?’ They both replied, ‘But that is so wrong!’ Yet when I pressed them further, they could not say why their relationship was fine but that of two consenting brothers was not. So, what’s it going to be? Do we hold the line on marriage as the union of a man and woman only, or do we eventually open the door to incest too?”

Yep, and who said there is no such thing as a slippery slope. When we seek to redefine the core meaning of marriage, we simply gut it of its very nature, meaning and purpose. And the activists expect and demand that we go along with this demolition job, promoting it, encouraging it, and advancing it.

This my friends is the real nature of homosexual “tolerance”. The activists do not tolerate us, they hate us and are bent on destroying us and our institutions. We are in a war, and one side will prevail. If you care about your children and grandchildren, at the very least, then you need to be aware of this war and you need to be taking a stand before it is too late.
