If you want to destroy a society, just target its sexual norms and values. If you can subvert and pervert human sexuality you can effectively kill a culture. We are seeing this played out before our very eyes right now. The bitter fruit of the sexual revolution of the 60s is still being manifest, and it does not look pretty.
The sexual anarchists knew that they could fundamentally transform a culture by unleashing a no-holds-barred sexual revolution. And it has been every bit as momentous and far-reaching as the various communist revolutions of last century.
Of course our elites and intellectualoids are living in denial about all this, pretending nothing is amiss here. But as Mary Eberstadt said in her 2012 volume, Adam and Eve after the Pill, “The similarities between today’s intellectual denials of the costs of the sexual revolution and yesterday’s intellectual denials of the costs of communism are striking.”
Of course many have been warning about all this for decades now. Back in 1956 Harvard sociologist Pitirim Sorokin wrote The American Sex Revolution. In it he said: “This sex revolution is as important as the most dramatic political or economic upheaval. It is changing the lives of men and women more radically than any other revolution of our time. . . . Any considerable change in marriage behavior, any increase in sexual promiscuity and sexual relations, is pregnant with momentous consequences. A sex revolution drastically affects the lives of millions, deeply disturbs the community, and decisively influences the future of society.”
And sadly children are so often the biggest losers here. Consider three recent cases of gender-bending moonbattery. All of them are bizarre in the extreme, but are merely representative of the horrific forces of insanity that have been unleashed by the sexual revolution.
Consider this shocker of a headline: “Confusion of girl, seven, who calls lesbian stepmother ‘mum and dad’ after she became a transgender male and grew a beard”. The opening of this story reads like a B-grade science fiction novel: “A primary school girl in Australia calls her step-parent both ‘Mum’ and ‘Dad’ after the woman became a transgender male, had her breasts removed and grew a beard.
“The seven-year-old girl is confused about her step-parent who was once her biological mother’s lesbian lover. In a closed hearing of the Family Court in Queensland, the transgender man referred to as ‘Mr Brown’ was applying for regular contact with his step-daughter following his separation from the girl’s mother.
“The Court heard Mr Brown had lived in a lesbian relationship with the mother, the young girl and another, older sibling for almost three years. He now lives in a relationship with another transgender male, the Courier Mail reported. Mr Brown and the child’s mother had an on-off relationship, during which the mother travelled overseas and was impregnated by a man, before the couple reunited.
“The couple was together at the time of the girl’s birth and despite another, brief separation, the pair lived with the two children for some time. However, a month after holding a ‘commitment ceremony’, Mr Brown began identifying as transgender and began hormone treatment to prepare for sexual reassignment surgery to become a man.”
Talk about confusion compounded! The poor child. What a horrific environment to be growing up in. But things are no better in the US. Consider this rather worrying headline: “Judge Says Boys Claiming Girlhood May Use Girls’ Restroom”.
The story begins, “School officials violated state anti-discrimination law when they would not allow a transgender fifth-grader to use the girls’ bathroom, according to a ruling by the highest court in Maine that’s believed to be the first of its kind. The family of student Nicole Maines and the Maine Human Rights Commission sued in 2009 after school officials required her [him] to use a staff, not student, restroom….
“The court concluded that the Orono school district’s actions violated the Maine Human Rights Act, which bans discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. ‘Nicole’ Maines, now 14 and taking hormones to prevent male puberty, is a boy originally named ‘Wyatt,’ who changed his name in the fourth grade and has been trying to live as a girl.”
The article goes on to offer a list of “gender identities” as found on Genderqueerid.com, “a site whose proprietor has a degree in ‘LGBT Studies’ and has completed ‘San Francisco Sex Information’s sex educator training program’:

Hmm, a mere 21 options we can choose from. And there most of us foolishly believed that biology offers us only two sexes. I guess we need to get with the times. And it seems that the list is in fact endless. Not to be outdone, our ever-PC Facebook is now informing us that there are 50 genders! Yes, 50!
As Ben Johnson writes, “Facebook has 1.2 billion users – and now it has nearly as many gender categories to match. The social media website unveiled a new feature today that allows users to jettison male or female and describe themselves by dozens of ‘gender’ labels.
“Under the ‘gender’ section of their profile, users may click on ‘custom’ and type in dozens of options, including ‘pangender,’ ‘genderqueer,’ ‘bigender,’ ‘agender,’ ‘gender questioning,’ ‘androgynous,’ ‘cisgender,’ and ‘neutrois.’ ‘Way to go, Facebook – smash that gender binary!’ wrote John Becker of The Bilerico Project, congratulating the social media giant for its decision.
“‘Over the past few years, a person’s Facebook profile truly has become their online identity, and now Facebook has taken a milestone step to allow countless people to more honestly and accurately represent themselves,’ said Chad Griffin, president of the homosexual activist group Human Rights Campaign. He hoped that Facebook’s move will inspire others ‘in supporting individuals’ multifaceted identities.’ ‘The rising tide of equality cannot leave anyone behind,’ agreed Ellen Kahn, also with HRC.”
Oh, so in the name of equality we must now have an infinite number of genders? In the name of political correctness, we must pretend biology does not exist? Not everyone is thrilled with this utter lunancy. “Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality joked, ‘Do you remember the good old days when there were only five genders?’ He told LifeSiteNews he was thankful they had not included the term ‘genderf—k,’ a growing self-identity among those who embrace a fluid view of sexual identity. Still, Facebook’s list of potential ‘gender’ terms is large and growing.”
Johnson continues, “But many warn the notion of gender in perpetual flux is fraught with danger and potential harm, because, unlike virtual reality identities, human bodies come in only two genders. Encouraging young people to question – and possibly change – their biology could leave physical and psychological scars that cannot be healed. ‘This is one area where literally your whole body is changed,’ LaBarbera said, noting that he has talked with a large and growing number of former transgender people who now regret their decision.
“One of them is Walt Heyer, a successful man whose male-to-female sex-change operation made him view himself as a ‘complete fraud’ and ‘impostor.’ He abused cocaine and alcohol, and engaged in a failed suicide attempt, before embracing his manhood. He now counsels other people struggling with their gender identity to embrace their biological sex.”
So the sky is the limit it seems. There can be as many genders as there are people – maybe even more. Some folks warned back in the 60s that the sexual revolution would have far-reaching and damaging effects. They were mocked and scorned. Now we know who had it right.
And I am afraid we have only seen the tip of the gender bender iceberg here.
