Wins and losses in the trans wars:
War has been declared on every person on planet earth who still believes in biology, in reality, and in truth. The trans militants have targeted all such people, declaring them to be dangerous enemies who must be silenced, persecuted, and forcefully resisted.
Increasingly these militants have the full force of the law at their disposal as they seek to shut down anyone who dares to oppose their lunatic agenda. Cases of people being fired from their jobs, being fined, or even being jailed for resisting the trans madness are everywhere to be found.
Consider some recent horror stories about trans moonbattery which is having a very real negative impact on those who dare to disagree. Here are just some cases – out of many – simply from the past few years. I present them with the date and headline (and sometimes with an opening line):
November 12, 2017 – I called a trans boy a girl by mistake… and it may cost me my job as a teacher: Maths tutor suspended after praising pupil using the wrong gender
March 13, 2018 – College student is kicked out of religion class for saying there are only two genders – A college student from Indiana University of Pennsylvania was banned from Christianity class for saying there are only two genders.
June 6, 2018 – Indiana Teacher Forced to Resign Over Refusal to Use Transgender Pronouns – After teaching orchestra in Brownsburg Community Schools for four years, 28-year-old John Kluge is being forced to resign. The reason? He refuses to call transgender students by their preferred names, versus the names they were given at birth. “I really do care for all of my students,” Kluge said, “which is why I don’t want to be compelled to speak in such a way that I believe I’ll be encouraging them in something that’s dangerous.”
July 8, 2018 – Christian doctor [in Australia] is SACKED by the Government for refusing to identify patients by their preferred gender because he believes sex is established at birth
September 21, 2018 – Student editor who retweeted article pointing out that ‘women don’t have penises’ is fired from university journal
November 13, 2018 – Christian student’s stance sparks protests at UC Berkeley – More than a thousand of Isabella Chow’s University of California Berkeley classmates are demanding she resign as a student senator after she abstained from a vote [on transgenderism] she said contradicted her Christian values.
December 11, 2018 – Teacher fired for refusing to use transgender student’s pronouns – A Virginia high school teacher who refused to use a transgender student’s new pronouns has been fired for insubordination, according to the school system.
January 7, 2019 – Young mother is barred from her local pub for wearing a T-shirt saying ‘Woman: human female’ after a complaint that it discriminated against transgender people
January 17, 2019 – D.C. restaurant fined $7,000 after asking transgender woman for ID before letting her use bathroom – A D.C. restaurant will pay $7,000 as part of a settlement after an employee tried to stop a transgender woman from using a women’s restroom last summer, D.C.’s attorney general said this week.
February 7, 2019 – Gamer reportedly banned from Twitch for claiming there are only two genders – A popular online gamer who regularly broadcasts on streaming platform Twitch claims she has been permanently banned from the platform for stating her “beliefs” that “there are only two genders”.
February 10, 2019 – Mother, 38, is arrested in front of her children and locked in a cell for seven HOURS after calling a transgender woman a man on Twitter – Police officers detained Kate Scottow, 38, at her home in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
March 19, 2019 – Christian journalist to be interrogated by police for ‘misgendering’ activist’s transgender child – A Catholic journalist in England is being told by police that she might have committed a criminal offense because she “misgendered” someone and will soon be interrogated under caution.
May 5, 2019 – Tax expert Maya Forstater fired for saying trans women aren’t women – A senior researcher at a think tank is taking her former boss to court after she was accused of offensive language
September 20, 2019 – Esteemed professor of pediatrics fired after questioning dangerous medical treatment of children with gender confusion – Dr Josephson, the Division Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Louisville, was demoted and then effectively fired by the university.
October 2, 2019 – Doctor’s Biblical belief ruled ‘incompatible with human dignity’ – Dr David Mackereth, who had been an NHS A&E doctor for 26 years, was forced out of his job working for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) after refusing to use ‘transgender pronouns’.
October 21, 2019 – Jury rules against dad trying to save his 7-year-old from gender ‘transition’
November 3, 2019 – Birth coach is ‘hounded out’ of industry charity Doula UK after transgender activists branded her Facebook message claiming only women can have babies ‘offensive’
November 5, 2019 – Finnish Politician, Pastor’s Wife Accused of ‘Incitement of Hatred’ Over Booklet ‘Male and Female He Created Them’
June 4, 2020 – University of Alberta fires anthropology professor for saying biological sex is real

Hey folks, I could do this all day. The examples are now becoming a daily occurrence. Such is the nature of the new trans totalitarians. They will not rest until we all fully submit to their hyper-radical agenda.
A few good news stories
But sometimes we have a bit of good news, with some victories over the trans tyranny. Sometimes an earlier ruling or decision is reversed in the courts. Here are two recent cases of this. As to the May 22, 2021 story I mentioned just above, this good news has just come out:
A mother-of-two law student who was investigated by university chiefs after saying ‘women have vaginas’ has today been cleared of misconduct. Mature student Lisa Keogh, 29, was hauled before a disciplinary panel at the University of Abertay in Dundee after her comments made during a seminar on transgender issues were reported to tutors by her classmates. My second tale of a reversal of fortune has to do with the May 5, 2019 story. Here is how one report covers it:
This week, the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) issued its judgment in the case of Maya Forstater, ruling that the Employment Tribunal (ET) erred in its earlier treatment of the case when it held that the belief that sex is binary is not worthy of respect in a democratic society and was therefore not a protected belief in law. …
In a landmark ruling, the EAT held that not only was the belief that sex is binary protected by both Article 9 of the European Convention on Human Rights and Section 10 of the Equality Act 2010, but that the lack of belief in ‘gender identity belief’ was also protected. It found that the threshold for determining whether a belief is protected was a relatively modest one, and that Grainger V must be read in conjunction with Article 17 of the European Convention which has the effect of removing from protection any belief or act which was aimed at ‘destroying’ the rights of others. The EAT found that Ms Forstater’s beliefs, while they might be offensive to some, did not have the effect of destroying the rights of others and therefore did not engage Article 17.
The EAT criticised the ET for making value judgments about Ms Forstater’s beliefs, saying that it failed in its fundamental duty of neutrality. In an interesting side-note, the Honourable Mr Justice Choudhury took a swipe at the ET’s finding that science and biological opinion was moving away from an absolutist belief that sex is defined at birth by noting that no such expert evidence was even on record and that the ET was seemingly relying on a lone article from the New York Times to substantiate its position.
The EAT further found that the ET had erred in imposing a blanket requirement to use a person’s desired pronouns to avoid harassment. Such a position, the EAT held, was overly broad and did not properly take into account that Article 10 of the Convention limits interference with freedom of speech only to instances where it can be shown that a legitimate aim is being served and that doing so was necessary in a democratic society. The EAT further found that while there may be instances where refusal to use a desired pronoun could amount to harassment, there were also instances when it would not. Harassment claims, as the EAT noted, are highly fact sensitive and a one size fits all approach is unworkable.
The EAT also held that the belief that sex is binary is consistent with the law of the land. It therefore strains credulity, the Appeal Tribunal argued, that a belief which is consistent with the law of the land could be deemed to be unworthy of respect in a democratic society. https://christianconcern.com/comment/belief-that-sex-is-binary-is-a-protected-belief/
The article goes on to discuss another UK case, the October 2, 2019 one I mentioned above involving Dr David Mackereth:
While there are differences between the two cases, one of the key elements that both Dr Mackereth and Maya Forstater’s cases share is that the ET refused to recognise the belief that sex is determined at birth and that transgender people therefore cannot change sex was not worthy of respect in a democratic society. On this point alone, Dr Mackereth’s case should be remitted back to the ET. In fact, what was particularly shocking in the ET’s treatment of the Mackereth case was that it specially found that Dr Mackereth’s belief in Genesis 1:27 and God’s creation order was not worthy of respect in a democratic society.
It is certainly hoped that he too is cleared, and that we see many more such decisions being made. Enough is enough. The trans madness has gone way too far. It is high time for some sanity, some reality, and some common sense.
