The push for special rights for homosexuals, including marriage and adoption rights, of necessity means the destruction of motherhood and fatherhood. Gendered parenthood, as has always been understood, is the latest casualty in this ongoing assault on children, parents, marriage, family and society by the militants.
They are happy to destroy all this just to force-feed their social engineering agenda onto us all, whether we like it or not. They will not rest till the very foundation of society is gutted and transformed into a sexual no-man’s land where families and parents have been replaced by whatever kinky combo can be dreamed up.
To please the militants our completely befuddled leaders are happy to smash the oldest and most important of social institutions. Everything must go in order to allow this tiny minority group to get full social recognition and approval. Never mind that so many – probably even most – homosexuals don’t even want marriage; it seems our cowardly governments are bending over backwards to give them anything they want.
The latest example of moral perversion and family suicide comes from France. As they move ahead with homosexual marriage, they of course must ensure that everything else falls into line. Thus mums and dads must forever be squashed, and left on the ash heap of history.
Here is how one news report covers this madness: “France is set to ban the words ‘mother’ and ‘father’ from all official documents under controversial plans to legalise gay marriage. The move which has outraged Catholics means only the word ‘parents’ would be used in identical marriage ceremonies for all heterosexual and same-sex couples.
“The draft law states that ‘marriage is a union of two people, of different or the same gender’. And it says all references to ‘mothers and fathers’ in the civil code – which enshrines French law – will be swapped for simply ‘parents’. The law would also give equal adoption rights to homosexual and heterosexual couples.
“Justice Minister Christiane Taubira told France’s Catholic newspaper La Croix: ‘Who is to say that a heterosexual couple will bring a child up better than a homosexual couple, that they will guarantee the best conditions for the child’s development? What is certain is that the interest of the child is a major preoccupation for the government.’
“The head of the French Catholic Church Cardinal Philippe Barbarin warned followers last week that gay marriage could lead to legalised incest and polygamy in society. He told the Christian’s RFC radio station: ‘Gay marriage would herald a complete breakdown in society. ‘This could have innumerable consequences. Afterward they will want to create couples with three or four members. And after that, perhaps one day the taboo of incest will fall’.”
This of course is not the first time such madness has occurred. All over the Western world governments are caving in to the radical agendas of the militants as they seek to blitzkrieg all before them. Let me just offer a handful of other examples of this.
In the US we had this moonbattery from BHO: “Obama’s State Dept. Removes Mother, Father From Passports”. A news item says this: “In what seems to be a diplomatic effort at extreme political correctness and a nod to gay rights groups, the Obama administration is removing the words ‘mother’ and ‘father’ from U.S. passport applications and replacing them with ‘gender neutral’ terminology. Mom and dad will now be referred to rather coldly as ‘parent one’ and ‘parent two.’
“Conservative Christian groups are outraged over the decision. ‘Only in the topsy-turvy world of left-wing political correctness could it be considered an “improvement” for a birth-related document to provide less information about the circumstances of that birth,’ Family Research Council president Tony Perkins wrote in a statement to Fox News Radio. ‘This is clearly designed to advance the causes of same-sex “marriage” and homosexual parenting without statutory authority, and violates the spirit if not the letter of the Defense of Marriage Act.’
“‘The words in the old form were “mother” and “father”,’ Brenda Sprague, deputy assistant Secretary of State for Passport Services, confirmed Fox News. ‘They are now “parent one” and “parent two”.’ A statement on the State Department website noted: ‘These improvements are being made to provide a gender neutral description of a child’s parents and in recognition of different types of families.’ The statement didn’t note if it was for child applications only.”
But not to be outdone, consider this utter insanity from Sweden. In at least one preschool there they have actually banned the words ‘him’ and ‘her’. Says one report: “The taxpayer-funded preschool which opened last year in the liberal Sodermalm district of Stockholm for kids aged one to six is among the most radical examples of Sweden’s efforts to engineer equality between the sexes from childhood onward. Breaking down gender roles is a core mission in the national curriculum for preschools, underpinned by the theory that even in highly egalitarian-minded Sweden, society gives boys an unfair edge. To even things out, many preschools have hired ‘gender pedagogues’ to help staff identify language and behaviour that risk reinforcing stereotypes.”
As I wrote at the time: “Can you believe this absolute insanity? Now Swedish preschools have gender cops roaming the halls, ready to drag away little Bjorn or little Hilda into re-education camps for daring to live out the gender they were born with. Today – in some parts of Sweden at least – it seems it is a crime to be a boy or a girl.
“It appears that the only evil in Sweden is to actually allow boys to be boys and girls to be girls. The destruction of marriage is fine. The war against the family is just peachy. The radical feminist agenda is neato, and the push of the social engineering homosexuals is fine and dandy.
“But dare to have a child remain true to his or her – sorry, to its – gender, and then you are asking for trouble – big time. Perhaps soon they will outlaw all gender differences. Maybe they will force men to breastfeed their babies and force women to have vasectomies.”
Sadly Australia is not immune from all this idiocy. Consider just two recent examples. One Melbourne headline said this: “Gay school guide: Teachers’ manual rejects ‘mum’ and ‘dad’.” Victorian schools are being advised to dump the words “mother” and “father” by a new teachers’ manual that promotes the cause of same-sex parents.
A booklet called “Learn to Include” and a “Teacher’s Manual” advises: “Use inclusive spoken and written language (e.g., ‘parent’ or ‘carer’ rather than ‘mother’ and ‘father’; ‘dominant’ or ‘widespread’ rather than ‘normal’) whenever possible.”
At the time I wrote this: “This teachers’ manual also urges schools to put up posters of homosexuals and lesbians, and also not use gender-specific toys. Children as young as five are also urged to act out homosexual scenarios. The teachers’ manual is meant for students from Prep to Level 3, and is already in use in dozens of Victorian schools.”
And from NSW we find this headline: “‘Father’ to go from birth certificates”. The story goes as follows: “A controversial new bill that will remove the word ‘father’ from birth certificates to recognise lesbian couples who have children through IVF will be put before NSW Parliament. Fifty laws across NSW covering the Local Government Act, Industrial Relations Act and the constitution will be amended to include new parental presumption protection for female same-sex couples.
“The bill equates the position of a lesbian partner of a woman who has a child after becoming pregnant by a fertilisation procedure, other than sexual intercourse, with the position of a married woman’s husband. Lesbian parents will see expressions such as ‘birth mother’ replace ‘mother’ and ‘both parents’ to replace ‘the father and the mother’ on birth certificates.”
These are just some of the cases of family vandalism which are occurring of late to placate the social engineers. Never mind that mothers and fathers need to be eradicated in the process. Godless Communist regimes could go only so far in destroying marriage and family, but it looks like our new secular humanist regimes are succeeding where even the Marxists failed.
That’s some ‘victory’.
