Dumb Politicians, Dumb Ideas, Dumb Outcomes
Dealing with the real issues behind infertility:
It was G. K. Chesterton who once said, “There are very few things in life that a little politics can’t make worse.” Or as Thomas Sowell said in a similar vein, “There is nothing so good that politicians can’t make it bad and nothing so bad that politicians can’t make it worse.”
Leave it to clueless and/or activist politicians to completely miss what our real problems are and what the right solutions to them might be. Indeed, they often create the problems in the first place and then come up with brainless “solutions”.
Consider what Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers just said. He believes we need even more immigration – to deal with our falling fertility rates. As one news report stated:
Treasurer Jim Chalmers has argued higher immigration will be a “force for good” as the nation’s fertility rate falls further below the replacement level. It comes after News24.com.au revealed that the fertility rate will reach 1.5 children per woman in 2030-31 before falling to 1.34 in 2065-66. In response to the new figures, Mr Chalmers told Sunday Agenda the demographic shift demonstrated there was an “important role” for migration.

Yep, just what we need. As usual, instead of dealing with the root causes of various social and political problems, our fearless leaders just come up with reckless and misplaced remedies – which are no remedies at all. All his proposals will do is hasten the end of Australia as we know it.
We already see so many Western nations coming to an end because of mass migration, and far too often it amounts to flooding the West with third-worlders, ensuring that the West turns into the third world. If you want to see how that is working, just look at major cities in the UK, or America, or France, or Germany, and so on. Indeed, just look at Ceuta right now.
Do we have problems with fertility decline in the West? Yes, but we need to address the real reasons for this. Band-Aid solutions will not fix things if we do not deal with the actual reasons why women are having fewer children. Some of the reasons are these – and politicians mainly refuse to discuss them:
-We have lived in an anti-marriage, anti-family and anti-natal culture here in the West for decades now.
-Feminism has sold us the lie that the only good and useful woman is a childless career woman.
-Western women who put the paid workplace first, and then eventually get around to thinking about having children often find that they left their biological clock ticking for too long.
-Abortion is an obvious reason that must be addressed. With 80-100,000 babies killed every year in Australia, no wonder we are suffering a birth dearth.
-And abortions can result in infertility in women.
-While birth rates are declining throughout the world, it remains the case that Muslim families continue to have larger families, while Westerners prefer simply aborting themselves into extinction.
-The continued secularisation of the West means that more and more people are growing up without a sense of purpose, meaning and hope. Why bother bringing new life into the world if there is no real reason for living?
-Economic pressures make it harder and harder for struggling families to make a go of things. Many do not want to bring children into a world where simply being able to become a homeowner is becoming less and less possible, and the cost of living continues to skyrocket.
-The rise of trans madness in the West is not helping matters much either.
-Nor does the celebration and promotion of child murderers like Lindsay Clancy.
Other reasons can be mentioned, but some of the ones I just listed CAN be dealt with by politicians – at least to some extent. The West used to be strongly pro-family and pro-child, and government policies reflected that. But now family-friendly taxation policies and the like barely exist any longer.
But other problems are harder to fix, and the state can do little about them. As mentioned, when people lose hope and faith in the future, they tend to have fewer children. Back in 2011 David Goldman penned an important volume on demographics and population decline titled How Civilizations Die. Here are a few quotes from it:

“The members of sick cultures … cease to have children.”

And demographers have identified religion as a crucial factor in the differences among populations within countries. When faith goes, fertility vanishes, too.”
“Our strategic thinking suffers from a failure to take into account the existential problems of other nations. We think in the narrow categories of geopolitics, but we need to study theopolitics – the powerful impact of religious beliefs and aspirations on world events.”
“Demographic winter arises from a crisis of faith.”
“The truth is that humankind cannot survive without faith, specifically faith that our lives have meaning beyond the mere span of our years. Civilizations that lose their faith also lose their desire to continue and fail to reproduce themselves.”
“Abnegation of child-rearing is the ultimate expression of nihilism.”
“People stop having children when they lose faith in their future.”
“Nothing is more dangerous than a civilization that has only just discovered it is dying.”

As mentioned, these sorts of core problems are something that governments can offer little or nothing by way of workable solutions. But we do know this: importing countless immigrants into the country – many of whom have little or no interest in integrating and assimilating and embracing Australian culture and values – is clearly NOT the solution.

This reminds me of John B. Calhoun’s “Universe 25” mouse utopia experiment where they stopped reproducing and their population went dysfunctional leading to total extinction. The experiment was on overcrowding but many have seen it as a lesson on what happens when people lose purpose in life. Our secular, rich, welfare dependent civilisation looks just like this.

Though Deuteronomy was written for Israel, I believe it gives a graphic picture of the West today which has been blessed by the Gospel message for 2000 years but which now rejects its Christian heritage.

Thanks David. Yes, the curses of Deuteronomy 28 that Yahweh warned would befall ancient Israel certainly seem to have a secondary application to us in the West today.
There has recently been a stirring in the patriotic breasts of the British over the attempted removal of the song, “Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves!” from being sung at the end of the last night of the Proms at the Albert Hall, London. The song was written when Britain, as a powerful colonial and sea power was becoming the largest empire that the World had ever seen. But it was also written when the British navy was able to put a stop to Berber slave pirates, ravaging our shores and taking whole villages to be sold in the north African slave market.
When Jamie Barton the LGBT mezzo-soprano, at the end of last night of the 2019 Proms, at the Albert Hall, London, led the audience in singing “Rule Britannia! Britannia rule the waves. Britons never, never, never shall be slaves”, she unfurled the rainbow flag [1], amid shouts of acclaim from the Promenaders.
Prior to this she had been interviewed by a drag queen [2] Dinah Lux RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Ambassador’.
Meanwhile, whilst they sing this patriotic song, God is allowing Britain’s shores to be invaded by thousands of fit fighting age, Mohammedan warriors. God is not mocked.

The lack of fertility among atheists is just one more of the many ways atheism contradicts itself. They are simply proving that they are not the fittest of which Jim Chalmers would appear to be clear evidence.
Atheism is simply a false religious belief and it definitely is a religious belief with two, now pretty much completely disproved, tenets I.e that abiogenesis is possible through purely physical means and that random variation in genetic code has the ability to come up with increased, functional complexity.
Everything we now know scientifically tells us that molecules simply do not naturally reproduce and create more functionality and as we start to understand how genes work we now know the complexity needed to encode the instructions to come up with the huge diversity of micro-machines needed to make a single cell work, let alone the literal trillions which make a human body work, is more than astronomically improbable.
As has been known for centuries now but completely ignored by the religion of atheistic materialism, these concepts completely contradict the second law of thermodynamics.
The time really has come to stop allowing ourselves to be ruled by the religion of atheism. It is based on demonstrably wrong tenets and is fundamentally illogical. Time and time again it is shown to be deceitful, dysfunctional and damaging.
One reason why our fertility rates are falling in Australia (and probably around the world) is that the covid vaccines that were supposed to be safe were detrimental to pregnancies in the first 3 months. I have a close family member who lost here second baby just after the 12 weeks ultrasound check. The US senators are questioning Anthony Fauci about it as he knew the covid vaccines were causing foetal deaths but he did nothing about it. The covid vaccines also caused a higher death rate that was put down as deaths caused by covid so now our govt wants to correct the population growth by bringing in migrants to show the covid vaccines didn’t affect out population numbers. Lies lies and more lies by our medical profession and politicians but the truth is starting to come out, praise God.
I don’t think our politicians are dumb, this is a deliberate strategy to destroy our christian culture and sovereignty. The promotion of teenage sex is also part of that strategy.
