A Religion of Demonic Rage

The only way you can describe a political ideology that encourages its followers to slaughter innocent Christians and non-Muslims wherever they are found is to say it comes straight from the very pits of hell. The two latest examples of the religion of peace showing its true colours are still ongoing stories, with death tolls continuing to rise.

The hatred some Muslims show to non-Muslims is nothing short of demonic. In Kenya some 60 people were killed, while in Pakistan at least 52 were slaughtered. And there are plenty of other Islamic atrocities taking place as we speak, but these two are making at least some headlines at the moment.

As I say, these stories are still quite fresh, with details still emerging, and the death toll likely to keep climbing. But we can say a few things about each attack based on early press reports. As to the Kenya shopping mall attack, here is how one write-up puts it:

“At least 59 people have died and 175 people have been injured after suspected members of an Al Qaeda-linked Somali militant group attacked an upscale shopping mall in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, Saturday. Kenyan Cabinet Secretary of the Interior Joseph Ole Lenku, announced the updated figures in a press briefing shortly after noon local time Sunday. Lenku said that the government believed that between 10 and 15 gunmen were still inside the Westgate shopping mall and described the situation as ‘delicate’….

“A statement from al-Shabab on its official Twitter feed Saturday says the attacks are retribution for military action by Kenya inside Somalia. The group said it was now shifting the battlefield to Kenya. Police say they are treating the assault as a ‘terrorist attack.’

“Witnesses say the gunmen asked victims they had cornered if they were Muslim: If the answer was yes, several witnesses said, those people were free to go. The non-Muslims were not. The group said its fighters entered Nairobi’s upscale Westgate Mall at around noon and were still inside more than nine hours later. Kenyan military special forces had entered the mall in an effort to end the standoff.”

More details will be emerging in the coming hours and days. But things are looking absolutely horrific there at the moment. And the situation in Pakistan is just as bad. Christian churches continue to be deliberately targeted by Muslim terrorists, including this latest attack.

As one news report states: “A suicide bomb attack on a historic church in northwestern Pakistan killed at least 52 people and wounded over 100 Sunday, officials said, in one of the worst assaults on the country’s Christian minority in years.

“The bombing underlines the threat posed by Islamic extremists as the government seeks a peace deal with domestic Taliban militants. It occurred as worshippers were coming out of the church in Peshawar city following services to get a free meal of rice offered on the front lawn, said a top government administrator, Sahibzada Anees. It was not immediately clear whether one or two suicide bombers carried out the attack.

“Witnesses said they heard two blasts, the second more powerful than the first. One police officer, Zahir Shah, said he believed both blasts were caused by suicide bombers. The dead included several women and children, said Sher Ali Khan, a doctor at a hospital in Peshawar where the victims were being treated.”

And these are just two of the more noticeable attacks. All around the globe Muslims are killing Christians, unleashing horrific acts of terror, and showing demonic fury against all “infidels”. For example, in the Philippines there is ethnic cleansing of Christians going on, largely unreported in the mainstream media.

As one alternative media site has written, “When thousands of Muslims become refugees, then you can’t get the media to shut up about it for weeks. Thousands of Muslim migrants invading Burma became ‘refugees’ and the media has spent the better part of a year ranting about how evil the Buddhists are.

“But when Muslim terrorists attack a Christian city creating tens of thousands of refugees, you couldn’t pay the media to cover the story, whether it’s in Syria, Egypt or closer to home in the Philippines. Philippine troops have started to battle their way into coastal villages in the south where Muslim rebels have held scores of residents hostage in a six-day standoff, sparking fierce clashes that have killed 56 people and displaced more than 60,000, officials said Saturday.

“President Benigno Aquino III said more firefights were expected but assured more than 62,000 displaced villagers being sheltered at a sports complex in Zamboanga city that the rebels’ capability to sow trouble has been degraded and the government was working to end the crisis soon. Zamboanga is the 6th largest city in the country and 3/4 Christian and an obvious target for the MNLF Muslim terrorists.”

The religion of peace is of course anything but. Its mission, aided and abetted by its founder, its key religious texts, and its 1400-year history, is to bring terror to those who will not submit, slaughter the infidels wherever they are found, and fight until everyone bows the knee to sharia law.

If we are only thinking in terms of something like 9/11, then we are missing the big picture here. Indeed, since that fateful day of just over 12 years ago, the religion of peace has carried out 21,624 deadly terrorist attacks around the globe.

Consider just last month alone. In August of this year there were 260 jihad attacks in 25 countries resulting in 1616 deaths and 3412 persons critically injured. Not bad for a month’s work. And yet plenty of gullible and naive dupes continue to think that Islam is a religion of peace.

It is of course nothing of the sort. It is a demonic political ideology spread by bloodshed, terror and murder. While there may indeed be plenty of peaceful and moderate Muslims, we just cannot say that about Islam. This is not a peaceful or moderate religion.

The sooner the West wakes up to this truth and starts dealing with this threat head on, the better. Indeed, it is the height of intelligence and discernment to take careful heed when your enemy says they intend to kill you. But based on our lack of action, we must be all rather stupid and clueless.

  1. These godless cretins must be dealt with my any civilized nation, Christian or not. They are like a cancer. Their ancient creed is: Islam or the sword.

  2. Even our pastor who is a faithful expositor of the scriptures said quite pointedly yesterday when he mentioned the situation in Kenya that “in this case it came from Islamic militants…” It almost sounded like it was the exception to the rule that the attack was carried out by that group when it is actually the norm.

  3. It’s not just the press that is concealing the truth. Christian Churches here in Australia behave as if nothing is coming or that there is no war against Christians. Pastors seem too scared to tell people what is going on for fear of losing congregations. If some of the congregation turns away then so be it. Far better to have real Christians than pseudo God lovers. Ultimately the number that will enter into the next Kingdom will be few I.e. True believers and those redeemed by God himself, No more.
As the man said as he entered judgement let me return and tell my brothers of what awaits them. To which Jesus replied ” you cannot for there is a great gulf fixed between them and here”.
Instead of the real word we’ve occasionally had games in our service. Yes there was an element of Godly comparison within its context but it felt like we were watching Rome burn whilst still fiddling. But there will come a time when the truth is staring us in the face and we must understand it’s coming. It is absolutely useless doing missionary work abroad if we do not tell those we would convert of the coming trials. It is the knowing of what we will face and the preparedness to do it that is the testing and the means by which we can leave this human evil behind.
In some churches we have the sale of Christ’s forgiveness and his love but they hide the fine print. To be a Christian can often be a very hard journey and the travelling of it must be told, for at its end is a great Gulf that cannot be bridged and the book is closed and many won’t know its ending.
If we do not tell them then their blood will be on our heads.
God’s kingdom His “will”, will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And Hallowed will be his name.

  4. I am appalled by the latest in a series of attacks on innocent people by those who call themselves believers in and followers of God. If anyone had any doubt about Islam being a religion of evil and hate, rather than of peace and goodwill to all of mankind, these latest incidents in Kenya and around the world should dispel any such doubt.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, I condemn these continuing acts committed in the name of Islam and appeal to all people of goodwill and especially Christians, to pray for an end to such barbarity and to pray that those committed to carrying out such atrocities, will come to understand that God is a God of love, forgiveness and peace. I shall never believe that the God of Islam is a barbarous, murderous, cold, callous and uncaring God these jihadists make Him out to be.

  5. The God of Islam is exactly that John. His real name is Satan. His followers have been fooled so completely they will die willingly to do his bidding.

  6. The challenge is to stop them without violating the constitution. It’s not hard to see how some atheists would use laws that target religious freedom to target Christian churches because they hurt his feelings. There is a court case in America because a Christian Pastor, “Scot Lively”, preached in Uganda about homosexuality. Apparently death of a homosexual man who was killed by an unpaid sex worker is enough of a cause an American Pastor to be charged with human right violations.

There is already Religious Vilification laws in Australia and one pastor has already been put on trial for his views on Islam. Speaking out against evil is hard and people are often penalized for doing so. The push for anti discrimination legislation s also making it harder to speak the truth. Silent Churches in Germany lead to the holocaust. Our job as Christian is to Show people their sins and to show Gods love in spite of it.

The world is not going to wake up until we see the equivalent of Hitler Invading Poland. Islam has already demanded the Stuttgart of Israel and has sent their agents to other countries. People like Churchill are warning about the rising Fascist threat but the Neville Chamberlain’s are talking about a peace in our time with the religion of piece. People will wake up in time and it will take time because the Media cherishes it’s role as the ministry of truth.

  7. Know what Sharia Law is!
    1. Islam commands offensive and aggressive and unjust jihad.
    2. Islam orders apostates to be killed.
    3. Islam orders death for Muslim and possible death for non Muslim.
Do we want this in Australia? No way. Keep Australia Australian.

  8. It is so frustrating to hear gullible voices stating that all religions are the same or mentioning Crusades as an example of “aggression of Christianity”. How stupid! Crusades were political acts of the Catholic Church which were not motivated by the Christian Scripture, let alone Christian Spirit. Whereas Islamic terrorism is motivated purely by the Quran and violence is prescribed in this horrible book and encouraged by its founder, Muhammad, even by his personal example. There miles and miles between Christianity and Islam, like between love and evil.

  9. We once lived in countries that opposed Islamic jihadist terrorism and opposed the countries that intentionally harbor and support such. Howard, Blair, and Bush had significant issues but on this they were correct.

Today we have the same governments exporting gay marriage through social experimentation with their militaries in Islamic countries and giving aid to Islamic terror friends in Benghazi, in Egypt, to rebels in Syria, and negotiating/appeasing for peace with the Taliban in Pakistan. It is hard to discern between all the demons.

And I must confess to an inner anger that I too feel when I think about the imbeciles who currently lead us, what they do, and what it has come to. I must remind myself that without Christ, they too are pawns, spiritually and morally clueless, and blinded by the god of this world.

  10. And yet BHO insists on squashing the rights of Christians whilst placating Muslims everywhere? Go figure.

  11. I was talking after church on Sunday with two brothers out the back of our church, in the parking lot. When the subject of islam came up, one of them lowered his voice. I asked him why. He said “the people in the house next to the parking lot might hear us”. This is quite normal these days. These people number 2% of the Australian population. What about the 98%? What are we doing? A good question though – how do you outlaw a certain religion?

    Ian Brearley

  12. Australia’s has a prominent anti-Islam campaigner who works hard to do exactly what Bill is trying to do in this article…i.e. Wake people up to the true nature of Islam.
His name is Danny Nalliah. (Rise Up Australia)

    Tim Lovett

  13. Thanks, Mr Muehlenberg (and Rodney Stark), for pointing out the often forgotten fact that the crusades were called after tolerating half a millennium of Islamic aggression. How quickly we forget our history and become apologists for things that God abhors.

Certainly – condemn wrongdoing; but make sure the accusation is a true one and not based on politically correct propaganda.

    Edwin Barui

  14. Concerning the Crusades, Christian nations were ASKED to send troops to the aid of Byzantine Christians who had been attacked by Islamic forces.
    Ed Sumner
