Marching Hand in Hand, Straight into Hell

When the church and the world team up in celebrating sin:

We know that people in the world readily and routinely sin, make excuses for sin, delight in sin, and actively promote sin. That is fully to be expected. But what we do not expect – or should not expect – is when so-called churches and Christian leaders do exactly the same thing.

This website has documented countless cases of this happening. Instead of resisting sin, condemning sin, and warning against sin and its consequences, we have far too many fake Christians who cosy up to sin and fully advocate for it. And one area where we see this occurring all the time is in the matter of homosexuality.

For decades now we have had apostate churches and leaders fully endorsing and encouraging the sin of homosexuality. Not only that, but they readily run with all the other perversions that spring from this. And I have been sounding the alarm on this for many decades.

I have long made the case that acceptance of things like homosexuality and homosexual “marriage” will simply be the thin edge of the wedge, and every other radical sexual agenda item will be forthcoming. That includes things like polyamory (group love/group marriage).

Of course to sound the alarm on such things results in heaps of scorn, ridicule and mockery from the other side. ‘Group marriage will never be a thing’ they shouted at me, insisting that there is no slippery slope. And the fake Christians also echoed those words.

In my 2011 book Strained Relations: The Challenge of Homosexuality I devoted entire chapters to how this can of worms would be unstoppable. And sure enough, all that I warned about has since come to pass. If anything, it has gotten a whole lot worse and a whole lot quicker than I had imagined.

Let me offer the most recent example of the world and the church marching arm and arm, straight into the abyss. Consider this story out of Germany:

A German protestant church body said it is “shocked” at criticism levelled against one of its pastors for blessing the ‘marriage’ of four men. The Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg has defended Lena Müller, a pro-LGBT minister, after she shared a picture of the blessing on Instagram, saying: “We are appalled by the hate waged against her. We stand with them and condemn these attacks to the utmost. We stand with those who are experiencing hostility.”

 

The four men had attended a ‘pop-up’ wedding fair hosted by the church, where couples could receive a blessing without registering for a marriage in advance. The now-deleted post read: “Four young men said ‘yes’ to each other, celebrated love with us and placed themselves under G*d’s colourful blessing.” Lena Müller told NOZ: “You could see straight away that there was a lot of love between them.”

 

“That’s why the team quickly agreed: What could God have against there now being four instead of two?” The Protestant Church in Germany insisted that the incident had not been a legitimate church ceremony, as the four men were not married in the eyes of the law.

There you have it folks: the blind leading the blind. Religious sinners leading pagan sinners to a lost eternity. But hey, you can see the love they have! Yeah right. Polygamy rights are now being promoted throughout the West.

And we also have adults who have a special love for children who want to see laws against paedophilia removed. We also have adults who have a special love for animals who want to see laws against bestiality removed.

Again, I have covered all this at length in my book and in numerous articles. I sounded the alarm, and I got plenty of hate and abuse for doing so – even from so-called Christians. All I can do now is say, ‘I told you so.’

But I repeat; the worst part is when those claiming to represent our holy, pure and sinless Lord seek to promote that which God hates. Sadly their repulsive theological revisionism has been going on for a long time now and has deceived many.

The only answer for sin is a saviour, and to confess your sin, turn from it, and receive forgiveness from the finished work of Christ. That is the only way anyone can be ‘placed under God’s blessing’.

These four men need to turn to God in faith and repentance.

So too does “pastor” Lena Müller and the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg.

These wolves in sheep’s clothing are the very sort of thing Jesus decisively warned against.

And the Apostle Paul made the same sort of warning in Acts 20:29-31:

“After my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be alert.”

Hey, we did try to warn folks about all this!
