On the Candace Cult – And Tucker’s as Well
I can no longer sit back and allow their poison to destroy all that is good and godly:
Let me start by saying this (and I will finish with it as well): Like millions of other conservatives and Christians, I once quite liked what both Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson were saying and doing. But over the past year or two both have gone off the deep end, big time – not least of which, their virulent and irrational Jew-hatred.
So now I no longer can support them. Instead, all I can do is pray for them. And that is exactly what I do every single day. I hope they come back to their senses and leave off their psychotic hatred and lying. I hope you are praying for them as well.
Here I will mostly focus on Candace, who may be the worst of the pair (and don’t even get me started on the diabolical Nick Fuentes). It is impossible to keep up with all the bizarre, unhinged and demented claims that she is making of late.
It seems every day a new zinger is unleashed by her. And regrettably, her hordes of undiscerning fans lap it all up. Worse yet, that includes so many Christians who appear to have thrown out their brains and simply imbibe of whatever she happens to say.
We now almost need book-length assessments just to cover all the idiotic and completely false claims she makes. One of the most recent – and one just as nuts as the others – is the claim that Calvary Chapel has actually been just a CIA plot! I kid you not. See this very sound, gracious and godly reply by one Calvary Chapel pastor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbcQhkxvtus
It has gotten so bad – especially with all the horrific and despicable things Candace has said about Charlie and Erika Kirk, about TPUSA, and so on – that Erika finally came out and told her haters and conspiracy theorists in a quite firm manner to just STOP. See her impassioned plea here: https://www.foxnews.com/media/erika-kirk-pushes-back-online-conspiracy-theories-about-husbands-death
The line between reality and satire is now impossible to draw when it comes to this purveyor of lies, whacko theories, and just plain nutjob claims. In fact, I recently posted the following online, and one person actually asked if it was real – that tells you how far down the rabbit hole Candace is going:
And today’s latest Candace claims:
-The apostle Paul was a lesbian
-Trump is a Jewish secret agent
-Jesus once worked for the CIA
-Taylor Swift is really Obama in drag
-Oprah is actually a Martian
-Bing Crosby was a Satanist
-Charlie Kirk is a reincarnation of Attila the Hun
-The earth is just 5 years old
-The moon is made of Swiss cheese and French onion dip
-America’s founding was a Communist plot
-The Bible was written by intelligent gerbils
-All churches (except mine) are covers for Mossad
-I am your long-awaited Messiah
-You will live to be 200 if you send me money – now
And all her brainless groupies say: ‘Yes Queen Candace, keep speaking truth and keep asking questions! We love, worship and adore you! You are so brave, so wise, and so perfect!’
Indeed, let’s just cut to the quick: Candace killed Charlie Kirk so she could marry Erika and take over TPUSA. If you believe any of the other crap she espouses, you might as well believe this. Sadly, Candace is now Satan’s little helper. The only thing worse than cult leader Candace is the legion of her dedicated and deluded cult followers – including all the ‘Christians’ and ‘conservatives’ who cannot get enough of her and her unhinged bilge.
Biblical warnings
Scripture does speak to all this. When you read the Pastoral Epistles especially, you see certain passages jumping out at you, especially in light of these recent events. This pair (who more or less claim to somehow be Christians), have stirred up more hatred, division and confusion in the Body of Christ and in the conservative movement than anyone else I know of.
The original biblical writers like Paul may not have had Candace and Tucker in mind when they wrote these things, but they certainly seem to apply. Consider just five relevant passages which can be cited here – and there would be many more that could be mentioned.
Here is one: when folks like Candace and Tucker and their legions of committed devotees keep saying ‘We are just asking questions,’ you can only shake your head and say, ‘Yeah right’. Why am I reminded of 2 Timothy 3:7: “Always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
And given all the disunity, division and turmoil this pair is causing, the many other warnings Paul gives about these things must be taken seriously as well. Here are four more such passages:
“Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.” 2 Timothy 2:23-26
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4
“As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith. The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, 7 desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.” 1 Timothy 1:3-7
“But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.” Titus 3:9-11
Bear in mind that the key signs of a cult are deception, lies, and divisiveness. And an arrogant and narcissistic leader who must always be seen as being right is another hallmark of a cult. The shocking thing is how many people who claim to be Christians seem to belong to the biggest cult in America right now – the Candace and Tucker cults.
As I have already said, I pray every single day for these two. I pray that they repent, get saved, and if need be, have an exorcism. And to be honest, those believers who are their dedicated devotees and zealous groupies also need to repent. They bring shame and scandal on the name of Christ and the cause of the Kingdom.
Instead of supporting these cult figures and their delusional claims, they should be rebuking their nonsense and praying that they return to reason – and return to Christ.

All this is unusual, Bill. I don’t follow Candace or Tucker but those things don’t sound like Candace at all. I’ve learnt not to believe some people as videos get cut and pasted like the BBC did to President Trump when he said “Let’s go down to the Capitol and support our senators and representatives’ got cut and pasted with his later wording of ‘Fight, fight, fight’ so it looked like he was wanting his supporters to fight on Jan 6, 2021. And then there is AI generated podcasts like when I was listening to Billy Graham and another of Elon Musk – I don’t know if it was them talking but it sounded like it. I’m now careful of those videos advertised down the right hand side of my computer screen – they sound interesting but don’t always say what the heading says.
All I can say is Candace and Tucker may be being used as distractions for some reason, remember King David had to act like a lunatic and go and live with the Philistines when King Saul was after him. I don’t like all the ant-semitic stuff though, but maybe these two going off the rails will let people know not to follow anything they say.
Thanks Lynette. If you are referring to my list, it is satire of course. Even a conspiracy theorist like Candace does not believe that the CIA was around 2000 years ago – at least I hope that is the case! But you are right that we must check out all things – especially when you have a psychotic nutter like Candace spewing her poison and hate everywhere and causing so much irreparable damage and turmoil.
Use to be a loyal fan of Tucker while he was still at Fox. He seemed to say all the right stuff. Then a friend sent me his book, “Tucker.” I immediately became disillusioned when I found out his favorite word had four-letters I would never say or even think. Some other favorite expressions were just sick. By the end of the book, I was shaking my head. What happened to this guy…or was he like this all along? It was a rude awakening.
Thanks Tom.
While my satirical list in this article is just meant to point out what we are up against with Candace, others HAVE been keeping track of her ACTUAL brainless claims. Here is one of them:
Thanks Bill for clarifying a few things. I did hear from other sources that Charlie Kirk’s death was a psyop to keep him from being killed. If it was, it was sure good acting. I will keep an open mind on everything I hear and see. God Bless.
Thanks Lynette. Although the Christian is to be discerning and “test all things”. We need not believe everything or suspend rational judgment. Saying, ‘I am keeping an open mind’ should be used cautiously and wisely. Otherwise it is just as useful as Christians in 1930’s Germany saying they will wait and see how Hitler and the Nazis turn out. ‘Let’s just give Hitler the benefit of the doubt, and wait and see what happens’! Thankfully folks like Churchill saw through that reckless counsel of appeasement and surrender. We all need to heed Chesterton’s wise words: “The problem with a lot of open minds is that they need to be closed down for repairs.”
