Leavitt, Faith and Family

What a champion Karoline Leavitt has been:

Karoline Leavitt, the fantastic American press secretary for Donald Trump, has recently given birth to a second child, and she has just announced that she is stepping down from her important position which she did so very well. Her son Nicholas (Niko) was born in July 2024, and her daughter Viviana (Vivi) was born in May 2026.

She is just 28 years old and was the youngest person to serve in that role. She was the 36^th person to do so. There are so many examples of her doing her job so very well, especially in the face of a hostile press corps. Consider just two short video clips:

Thus it is so very sad to see her go, but fully understandable as well. Let me share the full statement that she released on this decision:

Serving as the White House Press Secretary over the past year and a half has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime. I am incredibly grateful to President Trump for granting me so many extraordinary opportunities, such as working in the West Wing and spending countless hours in the Oval Office, flying around the world and meeting foreign leaders, and traveling across our beautiful country and meeting Americans from all walks of life.

 

Most of all, I am thankful to the President for entrusting me with the distinct privilege of speaking on his behalf at the White House podium. I have spoken with great pride about the many historic accomplishments of this Administration, and I have relished holding the liberal media accountable and ensuring the American people hear the truth about President Trump’s successes.

 

Being a mother and welcoming a new baby while working in one of the most demanding jobs in the world has been the most rewarding yet challenging season of my life, to say the least. The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life.

 

President Trump has asked me to continue serving as a top advisor to him on the outside, and I will always remain a vocal advocate for MAGA and the Republican Party.

 

Our country is facing an existential threat from an increasingly extremist Democrat Party that seeks to destroy everything great about America, and I believe it is incumbent upon all of us who care about this country to fight back against that threat. My fight is entering a new phase, but it is far from over. Thank you again to the President, the First Lady, and the entire Trump family for your kindness and generosity over the years.

 

Thank you to our amazing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for empowering me since the day she hired me on the campaign, and to the President’s cabinet, my staff, colleagues, and friends at the White House who work so hard on behalf of our nation. It has been a privilege to serve alongside so many accomplished and impressive people, and I look forward to cheering them on over the next two and a half years.

 

And of course, thank you most especially to my loving and supportive husband and family for the sacrifices they made for me to serve in this role.

Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections. Karoline has been a real leader in the White House, and has done a phenomenal job fighting for Justice, Liberty, and Freedom, since 2018, including our Historic Re-Election Campaign of 2024. Karoline has been one of the best White House Press Secretaries in the History of the Office. Thank you, Karoline, for a job well done!

And Vice President JD Vance said this about Leavitt:

Karoline Leavitt has one of the hardest jobs in the Administration — dealing with the relentless attacks from the fake news media. She did the job with grace, wit and a smile on her face. She’s been one of the most effective voices in articulating and defending the President’s agenda, and I’m incredibly grateful to her. I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Karoline over the past few years, and I know how difficult yet rewarding a constant job like this can be for a young parent. We’re sad to see her go, but I know she’ll continue to do great things.

She served God faithfully

Plenty of others are singing her praises. Let me mention just three more. White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller offered these remarks about the woman and her work:

She has served this president so well, this administration so well, this country so well, and very importantly, she’s been a role model to millions and millions of young women all across this country, a mother, a family woman, a press secretary, a patriot, really in every way, an extraordinary person whose role in this movement and this country is only beginning. She’s someone that has really been in every way, a source of joy in so many of our lives. Professionally, her credentials, her accolades, her achievements, are second to none. Her job that she has performed as White House Press Secretary, the word exemplary doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Dan Bongino, conservative podcaster and former deputy director of the FBI, put it this way: “Karoline will be remembered as one of the most prepared, knowledgeable, quick-witted, and sharpest Press Secretaries to ever stand at the podium. Godspeed to her in whatever direction she takes in her bright future.”

And on X, Gina Milan just posted this comment:

I’m usually pretty solid when people ask who should replace someone in the Trump administration… but I’m genuinely stumped on Karoline Leavitt. She was an absolute rockstar. Unapologetic. Fierce. A true lion and defender of this administration and of President Trump. That kind of talent doesn’t come around often. I’m sad about it, but I’m even happier for her. She deserves to soak up every second with those babies. Motherhood is the greatest gift, and she earned this season. I know she’ll recommend someone excellent to the President. But let’s be real — she is a rare generational talent. Replacing her won’t be easy.

Yes quite right. She will be hard to replace, but there are other great talents that do exist, and we should pray that another champion like Leavitt gets to take on this challenging and daunting job. It certainly is not for everybody.

And of course Leavitt copped plenty of criticism by all the usual leftist critics and haters over the past few years. But she performed her White House tasks admirably, with grace, wisdom and determination. She was one of the best. Yes, other great conservative men and women also did well at this role in the past, but Leavitt was simply superb.

And she had a few critics from those who claim to be on our side – politically and spiritually. Let me share just one personal story about this. When I was still on Fakebook before they booted me off, a more or less conservative Christian gal got mad at me.

Leavitt recently had her first baby, and I was praising her for the great job she was doing. But this “friend” chewed me out, insisting that she should leave her job and just be a full-time mum. I replied by saying that if Leavitt believes God wants her in the White House, as well as being a good mother, then we should not judge her but pray for her. This “friend” then unfriended me!

Well, with her second child now born, Leavitt has decided to leave it (pun intended), stepping down from her White House job. I still pray for her. She is a superstar, and she will be missed in that role. God bless you Karoline. May you have a wonderful and growing family, and we hope to see more of you in the days ahead.
