Victoria’s Covid Con Job
Even more revelations of the corrupt Andrews government:
It is all slowly coming out. Most of us knew it long ago of course, but the powers that be have been involved in a long and disgusting cover-up. But truth always wins in the end. I refer to the Covid insanity that prevailed for so long. And being a resident of Melbourne, Australia, I and millions of others experienced some of the worst lockdown lunacy anywhere on the planet.
It was utterly horrific. Even I, a strong Christian, felt so overwhelmed and oppressed and imprisoned. It was simply terrible – and it lasted for so very long. And we had it all: you could only travel 5 kilometres from your own home! You could only be outside one hour a day! You could not be out after 8pm. It was communism on steroids – and all in the name of keeping us safe!
But now another bit of truth has come out, showing once again what a bunch of fascist totalitarians the Victorian Labor government under Dan Andrews really was. Now we learn that the draconian 8pm curfew had absolutely nothing to do with the advice of the medical community. It was simply another heavy-handed bit of tyranny from Dan Andrews.
As a Sky News report has said:
A bombshell document kept secret for more than four years shows Victoria’s public health commander was not consulted before Daniel Andrews’ “crisis-cabinet” announced a curfew on Victorians almost five years ago. The email – obtained exclusively by Sky News – has already prompted anger within the Victorian Opposition and even a partial concession within both the Labor government and the state’s current Health Minister.
In August 2, 2020, the crippled region of metropolitan Melbourne was imposed with the unthinkable prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, a curfew limiting movement at night and also forcing thousands to stay within five kilometres of their home. During that year, Professor Brett Sutton, Victoria’s Chief Health Officer described decisions he made, including the curfew, as among his most difficult.
“This is certainly awful advice to have to give to any government,” Professor Sutton told one of the hundreds of coronavirus news conference briefings held in Victoria’s purple-walled Treasury Theatre. Fast forward nearly five years and only now is the disconnect within the state government’s decision making becoming clear.
The revelations, uncovered in the document and analysed by Sky News, have since prompted Victoria’s Opposition Leader Brad Battin to renew calls for a full independent state parliamentary inquiry into the effects of the pandemic.
“I’m angry on this one and I think back to the time all Victorians complied by the rules put out by the Labor government,” Mr Battin told Sky News in an exclusive interview…. For almost five years, Minister Thomas’ department has fought the documents release to Liberal Opposition Leader of the Upper House, MP David Davis.
The article continues:
Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says Daniel Andrews never cared what “effect” he had on the state. . . . Mr Davis told Sky News Australia Document 34 is damning and was worth pursuing his long running legal fight through FOI.
“For four years and seven months Labor used every legal trick and manoeuvre in the book to block the release of these emails, fighting VCAT orders all the way to the Victorian Court of Appeal,” he said. “They lost; with the Court ordering the release of this secret email exchange. Now we can all see why the Andrews and Allan Labor government wanted to cover up the embarrassing facts behind the curfew decision.” https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/politics/bombshell-document-about-victorias-covid-curfew-kept-secret-for-more-than-four-years-can-now-be-revealed-after-legal-fight/news-story/82950defde57ec38b611985f533eaff1
There we have it. ‘Just following the science’? This idiotic and harmful curfew plan was Dan Andrews’ Crisis Cabinet idea, not Brett Sutton’s medical advice. And bear in mind that the current Premier, Jacinta Allen was part of that team. She is now the only one still left from back in 2020. Labor had been trying to hide all this for 4 ½ years. We certainly need a reckoning for this – a Royal Commission.
Opposition Leader Brad Battin said this about the matter:
Explosive revelations have confirmed what Victorians long suspected: the Labor Government imposed a harsh and damaging Covid curfew on more than five million people without any medical or scientific basis but was a political directive from then-Premier Daniel Andrews.
The Liberals and Nationals are calling for a full and independent inquiry into Labor’s misuse of emergency powers and for Premier Jacinta Allan to immediately release all remaining internal health advice relating to the COVID-19 response. If the Premier has nothing to hide, she should release it today.
And one rural news outlet put it this way:
This wasn’t health advice – it was political control, dressed up as protection. And the damage? Catastrophic. Small businesses crushed. Mental health in freefall. Suicides rose. Domestic violence spiked. Kids fell behind. Families torn apart. Thousands suffered in silence, locked inside for months on end. Elderly people died alone.
And now, we find the most extreme peacetime measure in our nation’s history wasn’t even backed by health experts. At the time, Sutton told the public it was “awful advice to give” – but now we know he didn’t give it at all. Andrews and Allan did. They made the call. Then spent years covering it up.
Victorians deserve more than spin. They deserve a proper, independent inquiry – and accountability for the decisions that caused so much unnecessary suffering.
We sure do. Victoria is still feeling the impact of this dystopian government and its appalling decisions. So many small businesses have never recovered. So many children are still struggling. So many people took their own lives, and not a word from Labor.
And so many people were not allowed to see loved ones, even those who were dying. This is not theoretical. It happened to me. As my wife struggled with terminal cancer, I was often unable to see her in hospital. The mandatory Covid shots made life hell for so many of us.
I finally had to succumb and get two shots of the one that seemed to be the least worrying at the time, Novavax. That was the only way I could be with my wife while she was suffering so much. But so many others never could be with loved ones. So many people died all alone thanks to the heartless and disgusting bunch of authoritarians here in Melbourne.
We certainly do need a Royal Commission. These corrupt leaders need to be held fully accountable for all the damage they have done. They need to be tried for crimes against humanity. We were not the ones who should have been locked up. They are the ones who really deserve to be locked up – and for a very long time.
And the sooner they face the music, the better.

As a Christian who is supposed to forgive and not hold grudges, I struggle with unforgiveness over all this. Those two years took a significant toll on me. It put me through the wringer, like millions of other Victorians.
Yes I hear you Ross. But a few things. It may not necessarily be holding a grudge – it may be a legitimate desire to see justice done in the face of such great wrongs and evils.
Also, there are passages by Jesus where he says ‘IF he repents, then forgive him…’. See more on this here: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2018/01/22/on-christian-forgiveness/
It is not only the tyrannical attitude of Labor but the evidence, not that we needed more, that the bureaucracy’s loyalty and allegiance is to the bureaucracy.
Australians have been getting away with a dysfunctional democracy largely because conditions have been easy. As we become more corrupt there will be increasing tests and our lack of democracy will ensure more fails.
Just imagine if the rumours that Russia and China were bilaterally eyeing off Australia were true. They could pretty much waltz in here and take the place over and yes there would be a song and dance around the world with more trade embargoes but that would probably be the extent of it.
Australians need to wake up and grow up before it is too late.
There is a public inquiry in the UK but I have not heard of anyone supposing that it will bring justice or closure. I would not believe them if they did. The evil of those days was so pervasive that only God Himself can do justice.
Sorry to hear Bill that you had to have the covid jabs. Hopefully you received some placebos or ones less harmful as the jabs are known to give many ailments. Even people who didn’t get jabbed are being found to have parts of the jab in their system like it was sprayed on us. That’s why I take ivermectin and I will get some fenbendazole as well.
I remember Victoria had two people who set themselves alight. Just terrible. And I agree, the people responsible should be held accountable.
Thanks, Bill. I too held out until I could have the 2 Novavax jabs, but they were pretty useless – I came down with covid about six months later. I had stocked up on Ivermectin before it was banned, and we all took that. None of us had to be hospitalised, but I think I had the highest temperature I have ever had in my life. We live on the outskirts of a small rural town so were more fortunate than most during the lockdowns, but even so we had to miss out on important milestones like celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.
I agree that those who made the decision to lock Victorians up should have to answer for their inhumane actions.
Bless you Naomi.
