The Assault on Faith, Freedom and Family: Instalment No. 32,859
Yep it’s that time again – time for another weekly update on what the tolerance brigade is up to. As usual the militants have declared war on the West, and the values of freedom, religion and democracy. They have also shown their utter contempt for the institutions of marriage and family, and those who support them.
And all this is done of course in the name of tolerance and diversity. So let’s begin; we have a lot of catching up to do. One clear example of how the homosexual lobby is leading the clampdown of Christianity and the freedom to proclaim the gospel comes from the UK – Wimbledon, to be exact.
Consider this alarming story: “Tony Miano, 49, a former senior police officer from the US, was held for around six hours, had his fingerprints and DNA taken and was questioned about his faith, after delivering a sermon about ‘sexual immorality’ on a London street. Mr Miano, who served as a Deputy Sherriff in Los Angeles County, said his experience suggested that the term ‘thought police’ had become a reality in the UK.
“He said he was amazed that it was now possible ‘in the country that produced the Magna Carta’ for people to be arrested for what they say. Mr Miano, who was provided with a solicitor by the Christian Legal Centre, was arrested under the controversial clause of the Public Order Act which bans ‘insulting’ words or behaviour. The clause has recently been dropped by the House of Lords after a high-profile free speech campaign but the change has yet to come into force.
“The father of three, who took early retirement from the police to become a full-time preacher two years ago, was detained after he was preaching outside a shopping centre in Wimbledon, south west London, on Monday. He was speaking from a passage from Thessalonians which mentions ‘sexual immorality’ and listed homosexuality alongside ‘fornication’ as examples of what he believed went against ‘God’s law’. A woman out shopping called the police to complain that she was offended, prompting two officers to be dispatched to arrest him.”
Wow, so you can now get arrested there for “offending” people. Hey, her taking offence offends me. So will the police arrest her? Things are no better in the US. In Ohio you can get fired for simply disagreeing with the standard PC homosexual agenda. Get a load of this story:
“Alliance Defending Freedom and the Pacific Justice Institute have filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court that asks the court to review the case of a University of Toledo employee fired simply because she wrote an opinion column in her own personal name with a viewpoint that university officials didn’t like.
“The university fired Crystal Dixon, who works in the school’s Human Resources department, after she wrote a short op-ed responding to a local newspaper’s editorial that compared the efforts of homosexual activists to the black civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s. As an African-American, Dixon respectfully disagreed with the paper’s editorial.
“She did not mention her job at the university. ‘Universities should be the marketplace of ideas, not environments where officials dictate conformity to their own views even outside of the campus,’ said Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Legal Counsel David Hacker. ‘Seventy years of legal precedent make it clear that government officials have no authority to rob public employees of their First Amendment freedom of speech outside of work on a non-work-related matter’.”
And the gaystapo are also forcing students to toe the line or else. Consider what is happening in another US state: “A Tennessee community college professor ordered her students to wear ribbons supporting gay rights and said those who believed in the traditional definition of marriage are just ‘uneducated bigots’ who ‘attack homosexuals with hate,’ according to a legal firm representing several of the students in the class.
“Students in a general psychology class at Columbia State Community College were directed by their professor to wear ‘Rainbow Coalition’ ribbons for an entire day and express their support for the homosexual community, said Travis Barham, an attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom. Barham is calling for the college to punish Dr. Linda Brunton and order her to apologize to the students whose constitutional rights he believes were violated, according to a letter he sent to the community college president. ‘Dr. Brunton essentially turned her General Psychology class into a semester-long clinic on the demands of the homosexual movement,’ Barham said.”
Scottish schools also seem to be under the jackboot of homosexual orthodoxy: “A union leader has told teachers that disagreeing with gay marriage could be like racism and carries a risk of disciplinary action. Scottish Secondary Teachers’ Association acting general secretary, Alan McKenzie, said teachers who are against gay marriage should ‘watch what they say at work’. ‘If somebody made racist comments they’d be in danger of disciplinary action and it’s no different from that,’ he added.
“The remarks come as a nationalist MSP warned that teachers could be ‘persecuted’ if they criticise same-sex marriage. John Mason MSP said: ‘I want to know if there will be protection for employees, such as where a teacher says they disagree with same-sex marriage. I’d like a set guarantee, like with abortion, so that a teacher could opt out of this, but I’m not convinced we are going to get that protection.’ He added: ‘My concern is that people could be persecuted for giving their views’.”
All over the Western world people are being fired from their jobs, fined, or thrown into prison – all for daring to defy the homofascist juggernaut which is crushing everything in its path. Just how many more examples of this do we need before we snap out of our slumber and start standing up for faith, freedom and family?

What is happening here, Bill, is that the gay community also stands up for their rights. They have achieved equal rights, although they were once forced to sit in ‘closets’. Then, when the first murmurs started about equal rights the Christians should have been more vocal in their opposition.
But they kept on slumbering, like they actually still do. It’s just that you seem to be watching and a few Christian activists. And they carry the brunt of the enforcement of the law now.
And the poor ignoramuses who really know nothing about God’s law, or think it is old fashioned and outdated, think that the Christian activist is a bigot, not knowing that there is a horde of half asleep same thinkers behind him. When will they wake up, I wonder.

Thank you for keeping us informed. Orwell was sadly right with the thought police idea!

Thanks guys, Just as soon as I finished writing this article, along came more of the tolerance brigade: this time screaming homofascists beating up two Christian preachers. Can’t you just feel the love and acceptance? Please watch the video:

that’s a shocking video. But it’s exactly as the scriptures say… these people are proud, don’t respect authority, lovers of themselves and haters of God, rebellious etc etc.

Thank you for this and all brilliant articles. one question I have for you, should the statue of Liberty still be standing over there. Just like Britain, liberty is fast going, one of our MP’s asked the homosexual lobby, “Is their anything else we can do for you”? It is definitely spiritual warfare all over the world, Jesus is coming SOON, even so come Lord Jesus. God Bless
