What Will You Do as the Persecution Intensifies?

It is as frightening as it is shocking to consider this fact: during the course of my lifetime I have seen the West move from being basically Christian to post-Christian and now, anti-Christian. All over the West a once pro-Christian culture is rapidly becoming an anti-Christian culture.

The secular state is increasingly siding with and implementing radical anti-Christian agendas by various activist groups. Two years ago in my book Dangerous Relations I offered over 160 cases of Christians losing their jobs, being fined, or even jailed, simply for standing true to their beliefs, especially on things like marriage and family.

As the homosexual activists and gender benders freely do their thing, usually with the heavy hand of the law helping out, things are getting very ominous indeed for any believer who takes his faith seriously and refuses to compromise with evil.

And things are getting worse by the day. As an indication of all this, let me briefly mention six books which have dealt with this ominous trend. The first three were penned a decade ago and warned back then of the increase in anti-Christian bigotry and very real clampdowns on the faith. These books are still worth getting:

-David Limbaugh, Persecution: How Liberals Are Waging War Against Christianity. Harper, 2004.
-Janet Folger, The Criminalisation of Christianity. Multnomah, 2005.
-Donald Wildmon, Speechless: Silencing the Christians. Richard Vigilante Books, 2009.

I have reviewed all three of these volumes. See here:

https://billmuehlenberg.com/2006/09/13/a-review-of-persecution-by-david-limbaugh/
https://billmuehlenberg.com/2005/08/18/a-review-of-the-criminalization-of-christianity-by-janet-folger/
https://billmuehlenberg.com/2009/05/08/a-review-of-speechless-silencing-the-christians-by-donald-wildman/

And this year three more volumes have just appeared which are also well worth getting:

-Matt Barber, Hating Jesus. Barbwire Books, 2016.
-Mary Eberstadt, It’s Dangerous to Believe: Religious Freedom and Its Enemies. Harper, 2016
-Erick Erickson and Bill Blankschaen, You Will Be Made to Care: The War on Faith, Family, and Your Freedom to Believe. Regnery, 2016.

I hope to get around to doing reviews of these three excellent volumes as well. But between these six volumes – and many dozens of articles on my website – you should be getting the message: soft persecution is well and truly part of life in the West, and one can only expect this to develop into more hard-core persecution as time goes on.

We of course do not want to minimise the very real suffering of our brothers and sisters elsewhere, especially in Muslim-majority nations where torture and death are becoming routine for followers of Jesus Christ. But when people here are losing their livelihood and worse, then things are certainly getting serious.

I wrote about this earlier, as I looked at how passages like Revelation 18 might be coming into play here: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2015/09/19/babylon-its-fall-and-the-mark-of-the-beast/

In part I wrote:

Many people are losing their jobs or being fined or even jailed for refusing to go along with these agendas. Obviously all three types of penalties and punishments will greatly impact our buying and selling abilities. So I often wonder if part of the mark of the beast might be tied up with where the West is now headed in this respect.
Again, I certainly am not saying this is what those mysterious portions of Revelation refer to. But I can see how it might fit in somewhere along the line. As ungodliness and unrighteousness increase and abound, and as enmity towards Christians steadily grows in the West, we can see how the political and social and legal and financial systems of the world are so powerfully turning against the people of God.

anti-christian-1This is becoming an increasing reality for many believers: as iniquity and ungodliness increase throughout the West, many Christians are finding that even their employment is now at risk. When a conflict arises between your Christian faith and some hostile demands of the work place, this becomes a genuine area of concern.

If you are seeking to feed your family, but things get worse and worse where you work, and a very real threat of being fired arises if you refuse to violate your conscience and Christian convictions, then this is a tough call. That is why I have been warning about this for some time now.

We need to decide ahead of time how we will proceed in such situations. Will we simply cave in and compromise, just to hang on to that job? Sure, it is no small thing to consider losing work when you are struggling to provide for your own family. That is certainly a biblical thing to do (see 1 Timothy 5:8).

But as things hot up and we are more and more being forced into doing things or being part of things at work or elsewhere which really do violate our Christian faith and values, we need to think and pray carefully. Do we seek to stay in our position (at work, or at school, etc) at all costs, or is there a line which once crossed means we must go, no matter how difficult that might be.

And this is no mere theory. I have documented plenty of cases where Christians were forced to violate their conscience or face the consequences. Think of all the cake makers, venue owners, florists, photographers, etc., who have been forced to lose everything because they refused to participate in homosexual “marriage” ceremonies.

Those being adversely affected by all this are multiplying by the day. This is now reality. Do I stand for what is right and face the consequences, or do I just capitulate and give in? These are tough calls, especially when you have a family who depend on you to put food on the table and pay the bills.

As hard as it may be, I hope most believers will trust God and stand for what is right, even if it means losing a job or a university degree or career advancement, or respect in the eyes of the world. Sometimes we have to decide for Christ and be willing to pay the price. Jesus did this for us, so how can we do any less for him?

Each individual in this situation must pray and think carefully about how to proceed. But I trust that faithfulness to Christ will be our top concern. Do we really trust God? Do we really believe he is Jehovah Jireh, our provider? Do we really have faith enough to believe that he will look after us as we stand firm and refuse to bow the knee to the powers that be?

This is as important for individuals as it is for groups and churches. I have already written about how it may be time for Christian ministries, churches and parachurch groups to wean themselves off government funding. If they will compromise their mission and their values just to keep that government pay cheque coming, then they may have already sold out. See here for more on this: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2016/07/10/start-shutting-churches/

Let me finish by mentioning an email I just received today. It comes from a very concerned Christian who teaches at a large school. To protect his identity I cannot go into details here, although I would love to share his entire letter with you. He is quite worried about a transgender transitioning taking place in his school which directly impacts on him.

Does he go along with this charade and pretend everything is just peachy, or does he stand for truth, which he says he is committed to? He cares about this student and wants to help her, and not go along with the harmful gender bender agenda.

He closes his letter by saying he has a family to feed, and he is in a real bind. He wants to remain loyal to that which is right, and not cave in to this dangerous ideology. But he also knows he must provide for his wife and children. So he wrote me, begging for help. In part my reply to him is this article.

He also asked me for legal counsel. I am not a legal expert, so I cannot advise him directly on those matters. But I do know this for certain: such things will only get worse. As more and more transgender agendas and the like are being pushed onto us in our schools, our workplaces, and even in our churches, these situations will simply increase.

More laws will be passed forcing us to submit to these nefarious agendas, and more penalties and ominous consequences will be forthcoming for any recalcitrants. In part we need the wisdom of Solomon here. And we need real determination to honour Christ above all else, even if it means paying a heavy price for doing so.

And we will need what already exists in the US: Christian legal support groups who will for free – or at low cost – be willing to take up such cases. The cases will multiply and legal help will be part of the way we fight back. Another way will be for Christians to start acting like Christians for a change, and be willing to share food, clothing and even accommodation to those who lose all to the militant state.

This is where our faith runs into a reality check: will we offer real help to those in need because of such anti-Christian bigotry, or will it be business as usual? Will we open our homes to such folks? Will we open our wallets and give generously to those in need?

Or will it be every man for himself? I did not title this article, “What To Do If Persecution Comes”. It is already here, and it is getting worse by the day. In the light of this, we need to ask ourselves some hard questions. Will we stand true for Christ, even if it means we lose everything? And are we prepared to help those who are losing everything as a result?

The time for playing games is long gone. It is now time to take our faith seriously. As Jesus said, “He who is not with me is against me”. Where do you stand?

  1. Hi Bill, this is a very sobering piece of work that you’ve researched. You are not the first one to declare that Christians in Australia are under persecution, these comments have been coming from many in the ministry for the last couple of years. I certainly know where I stand. If The Lord Jesus Christ hadn’t forcefully intervened in my life as a young adult when I begged Him to, I wouldn’t be here today. I personally could never deny Him whatever the cost! More than ever Bill, I will be covering you and your family in prayer for your Ministry, and your physical and spiritual protection. God Bless you Bill, Kelvin.

  2. Like you Bill if have watched the changes happen. In a Christian culture it’s all set…everyone is basically on the same page. In a Post-Christian culture you can feel the change but can’t put your finger on the changes but now in the Anti-Christian culture abuse of Christians is very obvious.
    We have a new reality.
Education is a battle ground for sure and it seems too there are many types of Christians.
    God has warned us.
He will provide but not as the world would imagine.
For the teacher in your article – Maybe time to move to a Christian school? But that is not necessarily the way to go either. At least STAND where you are as long as you can….. That’s all we are asked to do – God will do the rest. Teach your subject and leave it at that.
God cares also for the student and the child has parents/carers. These gender issues are the parents call and require a Dr not a teacher.
God will take care of that student His way so there is no need to step outside the subject you teach.
You can only do what you can. We need God to be fully recognised at the Government level. We need Godly politicians and Government Ministers ( Education in particular).
Our nation needs church leaders and government leaders to agree about the holiness of Almighty God.
May God be glorified again in our nation. Until then STAND on the solid rock.

  3. I actually don’t think many preachers understand how bad it is getting. In many respects they are insulated from what happens in the real world. I have been subject to persecution many times. It can come in the public service where people get nervous about the corrupt ways they do their jobs and it can come from the private sector with bosses pushing immorality and forcing people to tow the line with the obvious threat of not being considered a team player. It can simply come from office gossip. I have tried keeping my mouth shut and going along with things but I assure people that that only makes the situation worse. God has honored His promise to keep me and my family fed but when you see situations like the Atlanta Fire Chief in the U.S. losing his job because he wrote a paragraph in his Christian booklet about homosexuality or a urologist losing his job because he refused to tow line and continued to warn people of the health risks of homosexuality, then you know that things are getting really bad. What possible connection could there be for a Fire Chief to be fired over his Christian beliefs?

We are in very perilous times when, in a previously altruistic and reasonable nation like Australia, we see parental authority undermined and the deliberate sexualization of children in state government policies and the rights of Christian organizations to employ those who are in agreement with their Christian beliefs, completely undermined. At the same time we see affirmative action to employ and promote homosexuality we see, simultaneously, putting Christians and Christian organizations out of business.

I have absolutely no doubt that this is precisely what Revelation 13 was referring to. Those people who do not realize that John’s Revelation was written from a spiritual perspective and see that they don’t have a physical mark of the Beast and so think they are OK, are in for a shock. Revelation 17 links the Beast and the Harlot to fornication and abominations which is exactly what we are seeing and these things are exactly what was prophesied in the epistles. People need to be warned. Have nothing to do with the politics of the Beast and the images and representations of false reality created in the media nor the associated flood of lies.

  4. The one group in society who are not effected by gay fascism are the retired. We are free to say and write what we like without any fear of our salary being cut. However, I can foresee a day when even our state and professional pensions will be withdrawn. It is incumbent on us the Christian elderly to speak up, whilst we can, because the net is closing in and then we will be completely dependent on God’s mercy and provision – which in fact is no bad thing. BTW those Christians hoping against hope that Donald Trump will come to the rescue of Christians being persecuted are in for a terrible shock.

  5. Yes quite right David. No one will be safe as the persecution escalates. And what you wrote earlier as a take on Niemoller’s famous quote is worth offering here again if you can retrieve it for us.

  6. I believe it this one Bill:

    Sep 26, 2016 at 1:38 am
But as I have said in a previous post it is going to get a lot more more worse than sackings and loss of career. Already the prisons are beginning to take in Christians who will not bow to the gay fascist.

First they come for the Mennonites, but I am not a Mennonite, so I do nothing.
Next they come for the children of the Mennonites and hand them over to the homosexuals ……….
Next they come for the whole community of the Mennonites because they are all implicated ………..

The reason that no one will do nothing is because many people regard the Mennonites as not only quaint but not belonging to the 21st century. They have no sympathy for them. The fascists will go for the low hanging fruit first and then work higher up the tree for us in the higher branches

  7. We have recently been helping our son to look for prospective employers after he completes his degree. It is painful to see the number of UK companies who are so forthright about being “Champions of Stonewall”, for example, with logos blazed across various sections of their websites. Friends of ours recently had to undergo “diversity” training, they said it was a joke but so many others took it seriously.
As individuals we are actually approaching retirement age, and what David says above is true, we are relatively safe at the moment but for how long? I can’t believe how many millions and millions of normally sensible folk have been sucked into this LGBTXYZ stuff….more importantly, how much longer is it going to go on, before the tide turns?

  8. Chris Dark, Stonewall’s logo[1] is an inverted pentagram, a symbol for Satan [2]. Chillingly it can be seen here being projected large on the will either side of the founder member of Stonewall, Sir Ian McKellen. To me it looks so much like a Swastika [3] This was on the occasion of Stonewall’s awards evening, held at the V&A museum, London, last November [4]
I telephoned Stonewall to ask who designed it and the answer was Angela Mason, one of the most influential and evil lesbians in Britain who works quietly below the radar screen. Who would want to meet her on a dark night? [5]

  9. I have wrestled with this issue for many years in the context of applying for jobs. I concur with David Skinner’s and Chris Dark’s comments and would like to expand further.
I have noticed particularly in the education and public sector and in many large private sector jobs adverts the requirement to “promote diversity” or “value diversity” is an explicit part of the job description, which a job offer would require a signed acceptance.
Swansea University seem to think it is the number one requirement for an Assistant Examination Invigilators role:
“The University is committed to supporting and promoting equality and diversity in all of its practices and activities. We aim to establish an inclusive environment and particularly welcome applications from diverse backgrounds.” http://www.swansea.ac.uk/personnel/jobs/details.php?nPostingID=3873&nPostingTargetID=6567&option=52&sort=DESC&respnr=1&ID=QHUFK026203F3VBQB7VLO8NXD&JOBADLG=UK&Resultsperpage=20&lg=UK&mask=suext
Can a Christian honestly be committed to supporting and promoting equality and diversity in all practices and activities in his role? I would say no. I can’t promote the activities of LGBT people or even recognise their behaviour as worthy of equality. I can treat them as people with equality as anybody else, but not their behaviour or ideology, which is what is being stated and required.
I recently had to withdrawal an application for a job as I would have to sign a Job Description that included:
    “Equality & Diversity:
    1. Promote the equality and diversity through the review of business support and information provided to clients.
    2. Maintain an up to date awareness, training and CPD of equality & diversity issues and how to services should be professionally delivered in an inclusive service to all clients.
    3. Deliver an inclusive service in line with the company’s values and Welsh Government contractual requirements.”

It is ironic (perhaps not) that in the quest for HR policies to be totally inclusive and compliant with Equality legislation in the UK, that employers discriminate against a Christian’s religious beliefs.
I have to be true to myself and the outcome has to the Lord’s will who has promised to meet our needs. Easy to say, a great test of faith in practice.

  10. Ruth Catholic and lesbian chief executive of Stonewall had this to say at last year’s Stonewall Awards ceremonies where it was always the custom to give a “Bigot of the Year” award to any Christian who stood against gay fascism.

Ruth Hunt, Chief Executive, Stonewall said: ‘I’d like to extend a huge congratulations – and thanks – to all of those nominated tonight. And all of those who have been nominated throughout the last ten years of the Stonewall Awards.

‘We have come so far for lesbian, gay, bi and trans equality – but we still have so much left to do. And to do that, and to be the change we want to see, we must continue to work together to achieve full equality. This year marks the final year for the Stonewall Awards but watch this space for something new next year, which will reflect all our communities and brings people from across those communities together. Acceptance without exception. Where all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, in Britain and abroad, can live freely as themselves without fear of persecution.

‘So tonight, we celebrate. And of course tomorrow, our work continues.’

C.S. Lewis was so right when he said,
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
    C. S. Lewis

The gayfascists will never rest. They will always claim that they have achieved such and such a level of equality and inclusion, but there is so much more to do. We know what the so much more to do is. It is the complete eradication of Christians, marriage and family. But they are like suicide bombers for in the process they know that their own path leads to death which is what they really yearn for. They will only be satisfied when they have taken us all, including themselves into the pit of hell.

  11. James Waddell,

The application for the post of examination invigilator does indeed demand that the applicant signs up to the values of equality, diversity, diversity and anti- discrimination.

However the day is coming when applicants will have to show evidence on their CV that they have formerly achieved a qualification in this. It would say whether this was a fail, pass or a distinction.

Peter Tatchell presented a talk as part The University of Wolverhampton’s 2013 LGBT History Month, in which he finished by saying, “Make it a mandatory requirement for all job applicants to produce the results of their equality and diversity exams.”

It worth reading this in context to get the full flavour his overweening arrogance and audacity:-

“What I propose – as a positive- is that all schools, from the very first year of primary education, should be required by law to have mandatory equality and diversity lessons …… throughout the rest of their school life – to combat prejudice -to promote understanding – to encourage acceptance – not just on LGBT issues, but also on race, gender, disability, faith and belief. The idea is to create an inclusive, compassionate society. Why do I say this? Because, very simply, we all know that young kids are not born bigoted. They become bigoted. And we know from pioneering studies and experiences in some countries and cities, that where this early education, against prejudice is in place, those kids tend to grow up to be much less bigoted, in later life.
……Now I would say that having the lessons themselves, is not sufficient. The equality and diversity lessons need to be backed up with exams – because pupils and often teachers only take things seriously when there is an exam. Make them do the exam. Make those exam results go into their school report. Make it a mandatory requirement for all job applicants to produce the results of their equality and diversity exams. That’s how you get a consciousness that this is an important issue. It’s taken seriously- and young people do strive to do well. I don’t go with the exam, exam, exam, mentality. You know exams aren’t everything, but I think you need exams sometimes to concentrate the mind and to get results.

Tatchell says, “young kids are not born bigoted. They become bigoted.” We could add that no one taught him to become a liar, narcissist and pervert, he was born like it! Indeed following his logic if it were not for the restraining influence of the Christian faith, a lot more people would naturally be liars and narcissists like him.

  12. Re: the employment matter – 5 yrs ago I was faced with the decision of whether to stay on in my job in the ob/gyn office of a large US hospital’s medical residency program, after they made abortion training mandatory. For 2 weeks I wrestled with God and then He gave me a peace that was tangible – yes, leave. He provided a better job right away. Now, in my current job, i wanted to quit due to the extreme evil of my boss, but the Lord held me back. Then, out of the blue, one week ago, the department decided to re-structure and eliminated my position, providing a generous severance. God wanted me out of there, but with the funds He knew I needed to live on until I have a new job. I am praying for all of you who are bearing the cross of the employment issue and staying true to your Biblical beliefs. “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”

  13. I think rather than “bigot”, dissenters should think of themselves as free thinkers, a better word that does not resonate with the other two pariah words containing the jarring double g. Why should everyone be forced into lockstep with everyone else. We want to get rid of the gangster-style McCarthyist mentality that LGBT were oppressed by, rather than impose the same on everyone else. Acceptance yes, so long as nobody is transgressed against, and Individuality. With the imposition of social engineering we will slip quietly into a parallel universe, detached from reality.

  14. Hi Bill, The ACL is starting and funding a Human Rights Law Alliance (HRLA) to give legal support to people regarding religious liberty. Can you please refer the teacher to the ACL. They are currently funding the legal costs of the mother of 13 who was charged for trying to help women in the abortion exclusion zone.

This HRLA is funded by donation. This is something we can do to support Christians as legal fees can be incredibly high. This is page to give funding: https://acl.nationbuilder.com/donate_hrla

I also agree that we will need to stand together as Christians and financially and emotionally support each other.

  15. Thanks Kirsten. Yes I did mention them to him in a private email. Hopefully he will get in touch with them. We will need more such groups willing to offer free or cheap legal aid to the increasing pool of persecuted Christians.

  16. Yes Bill – our God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider . . . and He is faithful! Our testimony of God’s faithfulness after financial wipe-out and as we live by faith in Him is about to be published – ‘Miracles Down Under and a Wake-up call’ – in which I gratefully quote you a couple of times. Thank you!

Of all people well-known homosexual activist Peter Tatchell has denounced this latest court decision. He claims he was against the bakers initially but has now changed his mind. Well, too late Mr Tatchell. You and your side started this mess in the first place.

  18. Thank you David Skinner for the heads up on Peter Tatchell’s compulsory ‘diversity education qualification’ proposals.
They are almost realised in most company induction programmes for new employees. Diversity policy is always included in the presentations.

    A TOUGH QUESTION
The real question is the Christian response to the global situation, when the fundamentals of civilisation, justice, freedom, humanity and God’s law are being systematically destroyed by a reprobate (given over to sin) group of people and sponsored by the political elite and legal system?

With Nazism it was war. When fully grown there was no other means in stopping this fascist ideology. It could have been eliminated early, but was appeased.

With LGBT, Islam and the Green Agenda it has to be, what? These ideologies are similarly based on lies and fascism.

A spiritual battle yes, but when does it get physical?

What people think, directs their actions.
This includes Christians whose thoughts must be govern by the word of God, and led by the Holy Spirit.

Our enemies have one aim supremacy, subjection and domination. There is no compromise for them in message and intention. They are absolutely consistent. Sadly unlike many Christians who compromise or appease these satanic movements.

What is the Christian’s aim and response, when logic, debate, democracy and normal rules no longer apply?

These questions can no longer be avoided or the outcome will be a fait accompli – persecution and death to all for non-compliance.

  19. Perhaps it is time to be reminded again and again from whence we have come, of our present position and to where we are headed, instead of simply taking it as a fait accompli that this is the situation in which we find ourselves and from which there is no turning back.

The LGBT virus cannot be accommodated but must be eradicated completely, unless it destroys us all. Better to lose an eye or a hand rather than have the whole body thrown into hell.
How we effect this legally and yet humanely has to be worked out.
Initially the idea was that what people did in private was of no concern to the government or anyone else. As long as what people did was consensual and didn’t harm anyone else, then this was to be tolerated. But history has proven that this is not the case. The LGBTs from the very beginning, in 1970 with the Gay Liberation Front, came out of the closet and have relentlessly forced themselves into our nurseries, schools and homes. And they tell us that this is not the end but there is so much more to do.

Having established that homosexuality is a violation of the natural order, that it is associated with violent and dangerous sexual behavior such as bare-backing, sadomasochism, bondage and cannibalism, that it produces violence within the homosexual community and that it produces serial killers, we are justified in protecting the vulnerable and those least able to protect themselves from sexual predators.

There are a range of measures to inhibit this Ebola that is eating us from the inside, without resorting to capital punishment (unless appropriate), imprisonment (unless appropriate), removal from a place of employment (unless appropriate) or stone throwing. Let us start with simple stigma and then work progressively upwards to making the punishment proportionate to the crime.
We can start by making it a criminal act to promote or flaunt homosexuality, or in anyway groom children.

  20. Mark Wong, Peter Tatchell has consistently championed freedom of speech and come out in defense of Christians like Harry Hammond.
    http://www.petertatchell.net/religion/free-speech-for-queers%E2%80%93and-homophobes.htm

But you have to remember that Tatchell is also a liar.

But he is only afraid that his own freedom of speech to speak out against Islam, that he justifiably fears, will be taken away. If Islam was not such a powerful force in the UK, he and the secularists would have no qualms in silencing dissenters.
However, he is also a liar, for whilst in theory he agrees to Christians expressing their abhorrence of homosexuality, he insists on compulsory equality and diversity public examinations. Clearly if one were to express “homophobic views” on an exam paper, that would disqualify one from taking part in the public space, for the rest of one’s life.
Tatchell speaks out of both side of this mouth and unfortunately is believed even by Christians, seemingly taken in by his slippery tongue

“We can start by making it a criminal act to promote or flaunt homosexuality, or in anyway groom children.”
It would be good to put this up as a Bill but would need to be carefully worded.
    I’d make it two Bills.

Which MP would put it up or how do we do this through Parliament?

    1. “Make it a criminal act to promote or flaunt homosexuality,”.
    2. “Make it a criminal act to in anyway groom children.”
Not sure how these could be “policed” though.

    1. Would keep homosexuality private instead of in everyones face, which is what is making it truest offensive.
    2. Would aim to address the “Un” Safe Schools curriculum.

  22. Hi Bill, it’s been interesting following all of the comments that have come in on this topic. Just one small request, you will have better access to current statistics than I would. To put it all into perspective; what percentage of the overall Australian population do the LGBT community comprise?
    Kind regards, Kelvin.

  23. Thanks Bill, 1 – 2 % of the Australian population are holding the rest of us to ransom because they’re frightened of having their feelings hurt. My apologies for being sarcastic on such a serious topic. As I’ve promised, you & your family have been added to my daily intercessory prayer list. Regards, Kelvin

  24. In my view Sandra Lewis’s comments although pushing in the right direction would not go far enough and at least in the UK would never get a hearing in the UK Parliament. No MP would have the guts or inclination to propose the idea.
In the UK Parliament during the Same Sex Marriage (SSM) debate MPs were commending the House for enabling a man to become a woman legally and using that power to support emotional pseudo-justice arguments to legalise SSM.
All the rational logical common-sense arguments were put weakly across and without appeal to the eternal law of God, sin, human nature and biology. It was astonishing to watch the strange delusion and the totally sycophantic behaviour of MPs who seemed incredibly emboldened to support LGBT behaviour.
Am I right in saying that we are now in a situation where the fascist movements of today have now put the Church and the Western nations under siege, totally surrounded with embankments against our strong hold of the word of God and His law with the aim of reducing its precepts to rubble and leading Christians into captivity? I think yes.

There is much that mirrors 2 Kings 18 where King Hezekiah initially tried to appease the king of Assyria. The temple and King Hezekiah’s palace were self-plundered and stripped bare and handed over to the king of Assyria.
Has the Church tolerated homosexuality, Islam and New Age Green Environmentalism to live peaceably and ignore the word of God and his explicit commandments and red lines? I think yes.
Now the LGBT, Islamic and Green activists, (sponsored by the government, the public sector and much of the private sector) arrogantly mock and blaspheme God with the pomp of Rabshakeh and make a call to Christians and others to enjoy the toxic ‘fruits’ of submission and servitude to their corrupt and godless ideologies and behaviours.
What was Hezekiah’s response to this absolute crisis? He put Rabshakeh’s letter summoning surrender before the Lord, praised Him as the creator and only true God, presented the crisis and pleaded for mercy and salvation for him and his people.
Through Isaiah, God answered and showed he knew all about the Assyrian king and his rage against Him. That night God destroyed the Assyrian army without a ‘shot’ being fired, 185,000 soldiers were found as corpses in the morning.
Would you agree that the lessons from this passage are?
    No appeasement to the enemy
    No concessions to the enemy
    No surrender to the enemy
Victory can only be assured with the literal destruction of our enemies by God’s intervention and this is what we need to pray boldly in front of our God and King in the Heavenly throne room. May God’s name be glorified and our faith strengthened as we wait on the Lord.

  25. In response to Sandra Lewis, the gay Manifesto of 1971, in essence, was a declaration of war on marriage and the family.

“The oppression of gay people starts in the most basic unit of society, the family…Formal religious education is still part of everyone’s schooling, and our whole legal structure is supposedly based on Christianity, whose archaic and irrational teachings support the family and marriage as the only permitted condition for sex…
Yet although this struggle will be hard, and our victories not easily won, we are not in fact being idealistic to aim at abolishing the family; ….The GLF Manifesto articulates a radical agenda for a… revolution in cultural values and social institutions. It critiques …. marriage, the nuclear family, monogamy… and rigid male and female gender roles…we believe that the suffocating small family unit is by no means the best atmosphere for bringing up children.”

    http://www.awakeman.co.uk/Sense/Books/GLF%20Manifesto%201971.pdf

To this we must respond by saying, the oppression of Christians starts in the most basic unit of society, the same sex family.
Formal, political correctness and diversity lessons are part of everyone’s schooling, and our whole legal structure is now based on Pink law and LGBT legislation, whose pagan and irrational teachings support perverted family conglomerates and kinky sex as the only permitted condition for sex.
Yet although this struggle will be hard, and our victories not easily won, we are not in fact being idealistic to aim at abolishing this mongrel blue print for marriage and the family.
The Bible articulates a radical agenda for a revolution in cultural values and social institutions. It critiques families that come in all shapes and sizes; which are adulterous, polygamous , polyamorous and open ended. It critiques homosexual and transexual male and female gender roles [1] We believe that the suffocating, same sex ghetto is a repressive, destructive and poisonous environment in which to produce and raise children. It is not sustainable and sooner or later must go before we all end up headed for extinction, as so many other societies who fed on strange flesh disappeared, never to rise again.

  26. Some great comments by all, particularly by James Waddell and David Skinner.

Terrible times that we are in. It will only get worse.

We must oppose those who oppose God! I think if you are led by the Holy Spirit to actively go out of your comfort zone and oppose these individuals publicly then do it, as you will be glorifying God’s word. Also if you are truly led by the Holy Spirit to do this there will be success in what you do as the works you do will be from God through you.

(Do not go and oppose them publicly and actively pursue them unless led to as you will not succeed and you could even make matters worse).

If however you don’t feel led to actively go out and publicly oppose those against God that’s okay. However, when a situation arises in which you are involved whether you like it or not you must stand by God and say what is right.

  27. I endorse Ricky Waddell’s comments whole heartedly. But it must be done under the supervision of The Holy Spirit. In the Amplified Bible’s recording of Stephen’s Martyrdom in the Book of Acts, it makes an interesting translation from the Greek. It states that Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit, AND ALSO CONTROLLED BY HIM (my emphasis). If we are truly under the Holy Spirit’s control, we become a powerful witness against this 1-2 % of the Australian population.

  28. Mark Wong, let us not forget a few years back these videos produced by FCKH8 who used little children to use filthy profanities in order to incite hatred against anyone who opposes the gay juggernaut.

They manage to get crooked lawyers to twist the law in their favour, but were we to try to the same tactic, our feet would not touch the ground. The law is blatantly discriminatory in favour of the pinkoes and they are laughing all the way to the courts.
Being nice to the out in your face gays is not wholly good.
What we need are national and military leaders with the courage to crush these folks before they irreversibly corrupt and destroy our children.

  29. Hard on the heels of the Asher’s Bakery decision, I received an email from Airbnb a couple of days ago. Guess what – if you want to use Airbnb, you now have to be ‘non-discriminatory’ – or you don’t get to use it, either as a host or a renter. (I signed up to it a few years ago but have never actually used it.) Here is the email:

    The Airbnb Community Commitment
    Hi,

Earlier this year, we launched a comprehensive effort to fight bias and discrimination in the Airbnb community. As a result of this effort, we’re asking everyone to agree to a Community Commitment beginning November 1, 2016. Agreeing to this commitment will affect your use of Airbnb, so we wanted to give you a heads up about it.

    What is the Community Commitment?

You commit to treat everyone—regardless of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age—with respect, and without judgement or bias.

How do I accept the commitment?

On or after November 1, we’ll show you the commitment when you log in to or open the Airbnb website, mobile or tablet app and we’ll automatically ask you to accept.

What if I decline the commitment?

If you decline the commitment, you won’t be able to host or book using Airbnb, and you have the option to cancel your account. Once your account is cancelled, future booked trips will be cancelled. You will still be able to browse Airbnb but you won’t be able to book any reservations or host any guests.

What if I have feedback about the commitment?

We welcome your feedback about the Community Commitment and all of our nondiscrimination efforts. Feel free to read more about the commitment. You can also reach out to us at allbelong@airbnb.com.

And Airbnb is partnered with Qantas, & I think we’ve all heard the thoughts of its CEO. On a recent Qantas flight, browsing through their magazine, I was disgusted to see a full page ad for a men’s dating service. Ughh!
