The greater something is the more it will be abused, twisted and assaulted. The greatest thing there is is the living God, and he sure receives his fair share of abuse. So too all his good gifts. One of his greatest gifts to mankind is the gift of sex. Being God-given, it is under relentless and diabolical assault.
By promoting sexual anarchy in every shape and size, society is unravelling at a rapid rate. In the name of sexual freedom we are becoming a nation of sexualised zombies. And sexual crimes, sexual assault, rape and worse are all spinning out of control.
Worse yet, we are becoming used to it, and many of our leaders and elites are ho-hum about it all. The courts are among those leading the way. Light sentences or even no sentences for sexual predators are becoming the norm. If all things sexual are now permitted, then all things sexual must never be restricted, denied, outlawed nor punished.
As a very recent example of this, consider this horrific headline: “IT expert, 40, accused of raping a boy, 13, in the front yard of his home after meeting him online and only stopping when the teenager’s horrified mother saw him – is given BAIL”. This shocking news report begins this way:
A man who allegedly raped a young boy only hours after first meeting him through a gay dating app has been allowed to walk free on bail. Ul Hasan Nuri, 40, allegedly attacked a 13-year-old boy in the front yard of the teenager’s family home at Blacktown, in Sydney’s north-west, on Friday evening.
The pair are believed to have met through dating app Grindr and exchanged photos and personal details before the youngster deleted the app and cut contact with Nuri. Police will allege that an angry Nuri then drove to the boy’s family home, pushed him over and sexually assaulted him in the front yard.
Nuri, an I.T expert and app developer, his alleged attack when the boy’s mother rushed to her son’s aid – at which point he ran to his car and fled the scene. After being arrested at his home in Kellyville Ridge last week, Nuri appeared before a magistrate in Penrith Local Court on Thursday morning. Despite the seriousness of Nuri’s alleged crime police did not oppose his application for bail and he was again allowed to walk free.

Wow. That should make every single parent on the planet sick in the stomach. But hey, now that we have managed to convince ourselves that sodomite sex is somehow normal and natural, then of course the next great frontier – already being pushed by many – is “intergenerational sex”.

They are always the victims in all this, and I have documented way too many cases of this in just the past few years. Consider another mind-blowing headline: “School District Changes Its Restroom Policy – Then Ignores the Sexual Assault of a Five-Year-Old Girl”. The story begins:
“When you send your daughter to school – when you see her off in the morning – you have a level of expectation that you’re not going to be worried about them, that they’re not going to be exposed to something that you’re not aware of as a parent,” said Mark, a parent in Decatur, Georgia.
But City Schools of Decatur betrayed that expectation. And the consequences were exactly what parents had feared.
In July 2016, Mark’s wife Gena happened to be on Superintendent David Dude’s Facebook page and saw an interesting post. Superintendent Dude had announced that City Schools of Decatur would authorize students who identify with the opposite sex to use the restrooms and locker rooms that align with their claimed gender identity. Not only that, but they would be authorized to join sports teams and share overnight accommodations on school-sponsored trips with members of the opposite sex as well.
Alarmed by this announcement, Gena called other parents asking whether they had heard of the policy change. It quickly became apparent that the school district had not notified its students or parents about the change. Instead, the superintendent simply announced this policy quietly, on Facebook, during the summer months.
Is that how you would want your school district to communicate with you?
As you can imagine, Mark, Gena, and several other concerned parents were not happy. So they met with school district officials and the school board. They made phone calls. They wrote letters. They sent emails. But their concerns left school officials unmoved. The policy remained in effect for the 2016-2017 school year.
Finally, the school board put the policy on its meeting agenda in October 2017. Many people spoke, including the former chairman of the Board of Pardons and Paroles for the State of Georgia. “Given his understanding of human nature, he specifically testified to his concern that this policy would be used by young boys to gain access to girls in private settings for mischievous purposes,” said Alliance Defending Freedom Allied Attorney Vernadette Broyles.
“And it was as if he was prophetic, because that is precisely what has happened.” A month after the school board hearing, a five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the girls’ restroom by a boy in her class – a boy that was allowed to be there because of the new school policy. Two Arizona calligraphy artists faced with fines and jail time for declining to take part in promoting gay “weddings” are asking the state’s Supreme Court to hear their challenge to the city of Phoenix’s law that compels them create artwork that violates their religious beliefs.
Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski, owners of Brush & Nib Studio, face up to six months in jail, $2,500 in fines, and three years of probation for each day that there is a violation of Phoenix City Code 18-4 (B). Not only are the Christian women threatened jail time and fines should they refuse to create artwork celebrating gay “marriage” because of the Phoenix law, they could also be prosecuted for publishing a statement on their website explaining that their religious convictions prohibits them from doing so.
The women, represented by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), are asking the Arizona Supreme Court to take the case because “the Phoenix ordinance illegally controls artistic expression,” according to ADF, “violating the freedom of Duka and Koski to choose which messages they will convey and refrain from conveying.”
“Artists shouldn’t be forced to create artwork contrary to their core convictions, and certainly not under threat of criminal fines and jail time,” said ADF Senior Counsel Jonathan Scruggs. “The government must allow artists to make their own decisions about which messages they will promote,” Scruggs said. “Breanna and Joanna are happy to design custom art for all people; they simply object to being forced to pour their heart, soul, imagination, and talent into creating messages that violate their conscience.”

Maybe he didn’t know the nature of the app and made an honest mistake; but the attacker should, of course, have been properly punished.

Matters that, by rights should rest solely in their revered and painfully flawed constitution and SCOTUS. That is, much of these things should be a federal issue rather than a state issue. The kingdom divided against itself verse often springs to mind whenever I read about events that occur in the good ole USA.
It would make application of issues confronting us in Australia if Australian examples could be employed. I know that the USA is being held up as place of chaotic moral legislative ineptitude but it would be nice now and then to be informed about the shenanigans that are going on in our own schools – especially the state of libertarianism and sexual progressiveness – ie Victoria.

There are over 4500 articles on this site, and likely one or two thousand of them are devoted to the Australian scene, including ‘shenanigans that are going on in our own schools’. And I just did a quick search for ‘Victoria” on my site and came up with over 400 articles. So I am afraid you may have missed a few!
In these kinds of matters we have an important choice to make.
The choice is to act now before the trouble becomes personal,
or wait till we are in personally in trouble and then act, or complain.
I have been encouraging Uniting Church people, and pastors to make a firm choice now about their own stand on marriage. Also individual congregations to do the same.
Any congregational decision that affirms marriage as being only between a man and a woman should be written down and become the well known policy of the congregation.
If a pastor, individual, or congregation is challenged (and they will be) it is far, far better to have the issue already settled.
Likewise a pastor or individual should make it well known that they hold to the traditional definition of marriage only.
If they wait until challenged they might find then that their resolve is mixed, and that the challenge becomes about relationships and not the principles of the kingdom of God.
I was talking to a UCA pastor just the other day about this and he could not say which way his congregation would decide. His leadership in the matter seemed non-existent.
Twenty years ago that congregation would have been very clear. So sad.
They are sitting ducks for a cave-in if someone asks for a SSM celebration.
Likewise, it seems to me that parents are finding out about their children’s school’s policies, and actions, and even disasters well after the decisions are taken.
So we have it that the five y/o comes home with horrific stories of what has happened, and the school is “so what?” about it when challenged.
Parents cannot be expected to check every school but they should/must check the schools that their children go to. Perhaps annually.
Do the digging, ask the questions, find out the attitudes.
Find out if the school is sympathetic to the new gender theories.
Find out if the school is being pressured or even attacked to be sympathetic to these theories.
Let your findings be known to other parents. Act on what you find out.
Support the school’s policy if you can, and help them resist pressure to conform to the new doctrine.
