Destroying Nations By Pushing Radical Agendas
An event beginning today demonstrates just how easy it is to subvert the wellbeing of a nation simply so that radical activist agendas can be promoted. This yet again involves the issue of homosexuality and shows how short-sighted, politically correct governments seem intent on destroying individuals and whole cultures.
Today is the first day of the three-day Federal Labor Conference. While there are many things these guys should be focusing on, such as the wellbeing of families, the economy, jobs, and so on, they will instead waste a lot of time promoting a radical social engineering agenda.
A debate and vote on same-sex marriage will dominate the weekend conference. All this is because Labor and the Greens are in bed together. Indeed, it appears that when Bob Brown tells Labor to jump, Julia Gillard asks, ‘how high?’
So Julia is doing Bob’s bidding once again, and it appears the numbers are there for the motion to go through. Of course the Green/Labor fixation on this matter does not reflect the rest of the country. A recent national poll on this found that only 14 per cent “strongly” wanted to change the Marriage Act to allow SSM.
A party which once prided itself in representing the ordinary worker is now a party fully taken captive to various radical minority interest groups and agendas. It is far more intent on pushing these dangerous social experiments than it is in representing everyday Australians.
As Paul Kelly has recently written, “The same-sex cause is a crusade now close to seizing Labor’s heart. At a time when Labor is weak on conviction, this is a remarkable event. It is an insight into the transformed values of Labor’s rank and file and how much its membership is pledged to cultural Left causes. Labor, it seems, wants to become a same-sex marriage party and is even prepared to humiliate Julia Gillard in this quest. The party seems ignorant of the public unease beneath unconvincing polls showing strong support for change or even the full import of what same-sex marriage actually means.”
He continues, “In essence this campaign shifts Labor as a political party into a post-Christian identity. It is a fundamental break from Labor’s social origins and values. This is how many Australians will interpret a vote for gay marriage. The party’s repudiation of the cultural and religious foundations of marriage will be an epic event in its history.
“It is noteworthy that only a few people will gain directly; that is, the number of gays who will marry. While this change matters deeply to those affected, rarely in Labor’s history has the party become so focused by a policy alternation that affects such small numbers. The real point, of course, is this is Labor’s new ideological cause.”
This new ideology “erects a libertarian construct of marriage and, once opposite-sex exclusivity is terminated, it opens the way for a variety of postmodern and cross-cultural constructs where marriage can encompass a range of sex options and people. That’s what ‘love without boundaries’ means.
“In this situation legal recognition of fatherhood and motherhood comes under assault because they constitute an obsolete view of marriage. This is now happening in a number of same-sex marriage nations. The new concept is parenthood. Its introduction is necessary and logical and flows from the legal recognition that children within marriage can have parents of the same sex and cannot be typecast by ideas of father and mother as such. Once this notion takes hold, how will the public react?
“In political terms, legalisation of same-sex marriage brings state and church into direct conflict. To try to solve this problem, Labor activists specify that changes to the Marriage Act will not impose an obligation on a minister of religion to solemnise any marriage. This is the escape clause and it is pivotal. It is designed to permit religious freedom to continue to exist in Australia. Only a fool would accept this at face value.”
This most certainly is a direct declaration of war against Christianity, and against a whole range of religious, ethnic and other traditions. It is a deliberate assault on the values and beliefs of most Australians, and another clear indication of the uber-radical libertarian and secular face of modern Labor.
Not everyone will lie down and allow this to occur however. Ordinary Australians from around the nation will descend upon Sydney tomorrow to voice their very strong disapproval of this betrayal of a Party and a nation. Numerous speakers will declare that heterosexual marriage is worth fighting for.
I was to have been one of those speakers, but I am otherwise engaged at the other end of the country. But there will be plenty of powerful voices discussing just how important this issue is, and why we must not submit to the jackboot of the radical activists and their stooges in the Labor Party.
One speaker is someone who should know. Walt Heyer is a former transsexual who speaks from experience on all this. He knows that contrary to media hype and the deliberate lies of the activists, gender really does matter, and males and females are clearly different.
He had to live the lies of the activists for many years, but now he has been set free from all this, and he tells the world the truth about this. His story needs to be heard. He will tell it tomorrow morning along with many others. But it is almost certain that the MSM will ignore all of it.
Since it is politically incorrect to say what Walt is saying, I am more than happy to spread his message far and wide. He has just penned an article on his struggles, and I here offer a small part of that important piece:
“The media calls the transsexual surgical procedure ‘sex change surgery,’ but the term is misleading because it is impossible to change anyone’s birth gender with cosmetic surgery and hormones. On paper, though, the change can be made with ease and in fact, that’s the only place where sex change occurs, on birth certificates and driver’s licenses.
“Unfortunately, many regret the gender change years after the surgery, but you would never learn that from the media. For years they have bombarded us with stories, infomercials really, that glamorise gender switching, while neglecting to report the high suicide attempt rate, suicide completion rates and high overall mortality that has occurred as a direct result of gender surgery.
“Their cover is now blown. There is tremendous pressure within America and other Western nations to give those in the LGBT community not only acceptance but elevated status and entitlement. The elevation of the same sex marriage issue to such prominence, in both media and politics, is perhaps the clearest current example of this. This elevated status does not help those struggling with their gender or sexuality at all, but rather it increases the problem and actually helps perpetuate gender and sexuality confusion in modern society.”
I encourage you to read his entire article. And I also encourage all of you to descend upon Martin Place in Sydney at 10am tomorrow and show that you care deeply about marriage and family and you will not stand by as the militant minorities seek to destroy it. I wish I could join you.

One of the things that marks this issue is that people think it is about righting wrongs for individuals, because that is how it is reported. ‘It’s about ending discrimination!’ ‘It’s about civil rights!’ False. Individual human interest stories are paraded in front of the community to play the victim card and to smokescreen the real issue.
This is about the remaking of societal attitudes in Australia to push them further against God. Those who were present at Federation would be spinning in their graves. I find myself inwardly laughing whenever I see the Australian Sex Party signs ‘Keep Religion Out of Politics’. Oh really? 12,000 people packed into the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne back in 1901 witnessed the following:
Shortly afterwards the Duke of Cornwall and York said this:
Dare I mention also that the ceremony ended with the ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ and ‘Rule Britannia’ – or that Alfred Deakin “prayed over the proposed Australian Constitution continually”? Or even the solemnity of how many of those in Tom Robert’s painting were dressed in black because they were still in mourning from Queen Victoria’s death over 3 months earlier?
How far we have fallen as a nation. How backward, ignoble and selfish we are becoming. Now personal sexual appetites trump the most common sense about the human body. We are now at the threshold of a world where facts and straightfoward realities about life are not just questioned, it is considered wrong to articulate them and major parties adopt and consider policy platforms about as ludicrous as the claim that liquid water is dry.
As for what Walt Heyer wrote, of course people who go through ‘gender reassignment’ operations are more often screwed up by the process. Denial of who they are at such a basic level cannot be healthy. Imagine the realisation down the track for some that they deliberately paid someone to mess up their lives permanently and that for most they no longer possess the gift of reproduction (assuming they were fertile). The devil must laugh at the gullibility of humans, willing to deny even their own bodies for fleeting and increasingly reduced episodes of ‘pleasure’. Almost as culpable are the so-called Christian leaders like Macnab, Buckingham and Glover who wink at such madness, even as it ruins countless lives.
Truly we are witnessing the making of hell on earth down this road unless we turn back. The majority of people lacking clarity about their own bodies (despite it being the reason they are alive!!!), governments biased to give special rights to those especially deluded folk, and those who wish to shine light, truth, healing and love in dark places sacked from jobs, fined, jailed and ostracised from society. And churches asleep or actively defying Scripture but thinking they are doing the Lord’s work. God have mercy.
“All people that on earth do dwell,
Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice.
Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell;
Come ye before Him and rejoice.
The Lord, ye know, is God indeed;
Without our aid He did us make;
We are His folk, He doth us feed,
And for His sheep He doth us take.
O enter then His gates with praise;
Approach with joy His courts unto;
Praise, laud, and bless His Name always,
For it is seemly so to do.
For why? the Lord our God is good;
His mercy is for ever sure;
His truth at all times firmly stood,
And shall from age to age endure.
To Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
The God Whom Heaven and earth adore,
From men and from the angel host
Be praise and glory evermore.”

The kingdom of this world
Is become the kingdom of our Lord,
And of His Christ, and of His Christ;
And He shall reign for ever and ever,
For ever and ever, forever and ever,
King of kings, and Lord of lords,
King of kings, and Lord of lords,
And Lord of lords,
And He shall reign,
And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings, forever and ever,
And Lord of lords,
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings! and Lord of lords!

Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves!
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.
When Britain first, at heaven’s command,
Arose from out the azure main,
This was the charter of the land,
And Guardian Angels sang this strain:
(Chorus)
The nations not so blest as thee
Must, in their turn, to tyrants fall,
While thou shalt flourish great and free:
The dread and envy of them all.
(Chorus)
Still more majestic shalt thou rise,
More dreadful from each foreign stroke,
As the loud blast that tears the skies
Serves but to root thy native oak.
(Chorus)
Thee haughty tyrants ne’er shall tame;
All their attempts to bend thee down
Will but arouse thy generous flame,
But work their woe and thy renown.
(Chorus)
To thee belongs the rural reign;
Thy cities shall with commerce shine;
All thine shall be the subject main,
And every shore it circles, thine.
(Chorus)
The Muses, still with freedom found,
Shall to thy happy coasts repair.
Blest isle! with matchless beauty crowned,
And manly hearts to guard the fair.
(Chorus)
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves!
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.
I suggest that members of the Sex Party (or Greens) should move to another country, one that doesn’t have a foundational history so embarrassing to their charter. Perhaps this may apply to the ALP also very soon. (Apologies for the length of this post.)

Many thanks Mark
Great stuff and well said.

I just typed Walt Heyer’s name into Google, and the first result was an article on a so-called “Transgender Christian” site entirely devoted to a personal attack against Mr Heyer. I have no idea how much or how little of it is true because I’ve never heard of the man before your post, but it would seem to be based on squinting and trying hard to make someone look bad, rather than a reasoned appraisal of facts. In particular, every psychological diagnosis is an opinion, and diagnoses are made for non-medical reasons on a regular basis.
I’ve heard Google biases sites on political grounds before. I doubted it, but this makes me wonder.

Printed in this weeks local paper: To MP: Vote NO.
Homosexuality is biologically a dead end. It is clearly wrong.
Laurie Ferguson, you do not gain political acceptance for supporting and voting for anything dead end.
We do not redefine what is true and tested and has worked for thousands of years. Mr Ferguson, I appeal to you to vote against homosexual marriage.
Judith Bond
Here in the UK we have similar problems through a deeply irresponsible distortion of priorities. In the midst of a crashing UK economy, massive government debt problems, the corrupt European Union and its currency dissolving before our eyes what are PM Cameron’s priorities for 2012?
He told his party conference that one of these will be to “legalise gay marriage” BECAUSE I’m a Conservative” !
The fact that SSM is being promoted in countries right across the globe indicates some sort of collusion amongst internationalists to destroy one of the foundational building blocks of Christian witness to God in Christian marriage.
The strategy is to undermine, and then destroying the God given family unit – and it is in realtiy an attack upon Him!
But homosexuals already HAVE full equality with heterosexuals, (in the UK), so it might be asked – why the fanatical crusade for SSM?
David Kapelian in his incisive analysis of the “gay” mindset reminds us that “militant homosexuals wish to be comfortable in their ‘lifestyle’ without having to be disturbed by reality”
But it is also much more sinister than that for Christians insofar as:
“The end-game is not only to bring about the complete acceptance of homosexuality, including SSM, but also to prohibit and even criminalise, public criticism of homosexuality, including the quotation of biblical passages disapproving of homosexuality. In other words: total jamming of criticism with the force of law” (The Marketing of Evil)
Yes, the distinctive and unique place of Christian marriage is indeed worth fighting for, because in some degree religious liberty and that of the Gospel itself is also at stake.

Well said Mark, and no need to apologize, it makes perfect sense and dare we say, may those parties who are ashamed of our nations Christian heritage move to somewhere else.
Fred Merlo
Indeed well said Mark. I wish I was confident things would turn around (and we should actively try to turn it) however I suspect things will get far worse as our society disintegrates.
But then His light should shine all the brighter as the darkness increases. In the grayness it is not that easy to see.

Bill, if you get the chance, get a hold of the Daily Telegraph which was printed today, in there is a short article by a woman named Cheryl Critchley. According to her “75% of Australians believing same sex marriage to be inevitable with national polls consistently showing 60% support and above”. I wonder where she gets these statistics from. The rest of the article just rolls out the usual twisted distortion of the word equality and takes a veiled shot at anyone who disagrees with it. I emailed a petition to a number of people in my local church asking them to sign it in favour of preserving marriage – I would only hope that they are not of the hand wringing, bleeding heart types that churches unfortunately seem to be increasingly full of these days.
Stephen Davis
I still want to know what the mainstream churches are doing about this, I have not seen anything in the papers at all or on the television. Even Southern Cross, the official magazine of the Anglican Church has not published anything, I usually get the chance to read it each month but if I have missed something then I stand to be corrected. Fred Nile seems to be the only person who is making any noise about this.
Stephen Davis
To-days events at the Labor conference just shows how the political agenda is out of touch with God’s laws and the majority will of most Australians. To win votes from a minority they are willing to sell their morals rather than to protect family values in order to stay in power as the government of this country.
May God save Australia from being lost to immoral behaviour as an endorsed way of life.
As it was in the days of Noah so it will be when Christ returns. Lord come quickly before more Christians are deceived to accept Homosexuality as a lifestyle approved by a government that has lost its way.
Ray Wilkie
Thanks guys. I write up today’s SSM vote here:

I read that the Right Rev Barry Hickey, Catholic ArchBishop of Perth, thought that if SSM came into law and of course the obligation for a minister to marry SS couples must not be far behind under the guise of antidiscrimination laws – that he would withdraw the Perth Archdiocese from celebrating Marriages under a revised Marriage Act.
Wayne Pelling
If Archbishop Hickey is forced to that decision maybe we could be “married” in a registry office and then have a church ceremony to “bless the marriage”. The second ceremony would be the true marriage in the sight of God. I know that happens in France, people there must have a civil ceremony first. Crunch time would come if there was compulsion to perform “marriages” for same sex couples. Real persecution wouldn’t be far off then. The latter looks increasingly possible and we will need to be living strongly committed Christian lives to withstand the temptation to apostasy. May God protect our children in the times which seem to await them and may he give us the courage and wisdom we need to fight for Gospel values now, before its too late.

Scary thought but expected I guess. The US is now pushing for gay rights not just in America but internationally. Maybe it’s always been their agenda. But it seems that foreign and domestic policies are beginning to blur quite a bit. I would like to know your thoughts on this. Gay Rights a domestic policy issue or foreign policy issue. If a gay person is “mistreated” in some country, will the US go to war to bring gay people “freedom”? This is obviously an exaggeration, but then again…if sexual orientation is a “right” and america is the defender of human rights. I think it’s definitely possible. But why isn’t America spending tax payers’ money to solve the human sex trafficking issue?
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/07/world/united-states-to-use-aid-to-promote-gay-rights-abroad.html?_r=2
I would love to hear from you about this considering that maybe another article topic. Thanks Bill.
David Hong
Thanks David
Sadly, we already have international bodies like the ICC (International Criminal Court) and the EU doing just that: declaring things like abortion and homosexuality to be “rights” which must be enforced around the world.
Bill Muehlenberg, CultureWatch
so will ‘christian’ ministers still be marrying people under the government marriage act? Seems to me the smartest thing the christian churches can do is separate their marriages from the government. Shake the dust off of our shoes and make a stand so as to be a witness. I will advise Christians to refuse to sign the apostate marriage certificate. Christian pastas should renounce their celebrant qualifications and marry people under God rather than the law of the land which is contradicts God’s law.
